[FROLO]

While Yaroslav headed him with his oga and Rahim back to the company, Sergei Moskosky was losing his shit.

So much so that the mont Andre got on his arm after that call with Svetlana, the alpha, who had been quietly trying to process everything, seed to have woken up from his slumber.

"Where is your car?" Sergei asked Volkov, who was not sure where this was heading.

Anyti Sergei asked for his car, it almost ca back looking worse than it had been before.

Granted, the benefits that he got from that were always a new car and fixes to the old one, but it didn’t make it any easier for Volkov, who was determined to at least keep the current one steady, even for five months.

It had been six months since the last one was ruined by this barbarian.

"I suppose I should start picking my next car and send you the invoice, huh?" Volkov sighed exaggeratedly as he went to bring his car to a very impatient-looking Sergei.

anwhile, Anya stared at the man as if to ask what he wanted the car for. Anything Sergei used that wasn’t his was never ant for any good at all.

"Do I start drafting apology letters you don’t an, to the city?" Anya sighed, exasperated.

Again, Sergei didn’t say anything.

He just waited.

And when Volkov returned and gave the barbarian his keys, Sergei didn’t even say thank you. He simply got in and drove off like the whole morning hadn’t had him in zombie mode and like there wasn’t a chance that lives were about to be ruined tenfold.

"Ten bucks says he will disable GPS before the gates," Anya said as they walked into the building with Volkov. They had work to do, even if part of it involved worrying about who was going to die by Sergei’s hands today.

"Twenty says he doesn’t even rember there are GPS tags this ti," an exhausted Rahim caught up with them, and honestly, Anya had had words for the woman. But looking at how tired she was, Anya figured maybe Rahim had had her fair share of hell.

"That’s weirdly specific," Volkov pointed out, and Rahim sighed.

"You wouldn’t believe the morning I’ve had, brother. Long story short, the news will either read differently by the end of the day or we will have world peace, how comforting," Rahim said sarcastically as she turned to Sergei, who was disappearing far down the gates like a maniac.

"You didn’t pick any calls," Anya stated flatly.

"He only wanted to call Yaroslav... and I think he went into shock because of a phone call, which I’m willing to bet ca from... you," Rahim said when they got to the private executive elevator.

"You can tell us about it later. Anyway, on a scale of a hundred to a thousand, how many bodies will we clean up today?" Anya asked.

Volkov snickered.

"Maybe you should pay Rahim her twenty bucks first, because he forgot to turn it off. Or he intentionally left it on... Which is even scarier," Volkov sighed at the realization.

"Maybe it’s a good thing you’re a prayerful man, Volkov. Your prayers will keep us sane today, hmm?" Anya said before they burst into laughter, knowing so well the kind of day that was coming for them.

anwhile, Sergei was out there going a hundred and fifty miles per hour over a sixty-speed limit in the direction that he probably had thought too much about yet. He had heard Yaroslav’s na and lost his shit.

He didn’t even wait to process what Andre had said in that phone call.

The only thing that stuck to him was the fact that Katya was hurting, and Katya didn’t choose him.

Katya chose Yaroslav.

Not the myriad of doctors that were at Sergei’s beck and call.

Not the company healthcare center, which was well equipped then a level seven referral hospital in the country.

Katya had chosen Yaroslav.

And Yaroslav had called him ho.

Yaroslav had cheated on him.

Sergei, on the other hand...

He had been left with nothing.

Absolutely nothing saved for the reaction Katya had to the system he alone had worked hard to set up. And honestly, that was scary because why the fuck was he supposed to do when Katya didn’t even want him?

In his rage and jealousy, Sergei stepped on the gas, like he had three thousand lives to spare. Like that was never going to matter unless he got to take his oga back. He was going to confront Yaroslav.

That was the plan.

Until he reached his son’s gate.

Until he saw Yaroslav carry Katya inside the house ever so gently, like the oga was precious.

He was.

He would always be precious to Sergei.

Sergei considered following in, after all, the gates were still closing slowly, but then he couldn’t.

The familiarity of the closing gates hit him harder than his obsession with Katya Romano.

He was at the gates.

The gates of his son’s compound.

His son, who was carrying his oga.

His son, who didn’t know the oga, had signed a contract marriage with his father.

Sergei was going crazy.

He couldn’t go in and make demands. Because Katya was his son’s partner. Katya was the one person Yaroslav claid to love the most.

And worse...

Katya still loved Yaroslav.

If Sergei went in, he would have to answer so many questions that he didn’t have the ti for. So, he settled on waiting.

But not like normal people waited.

Sergei went to that apartnt, where he always used to stalk his son and his oga.

The apartnt with a balcony so beautiful that real estate would have bought it for hundreds of millions.

That was the apartnt Sergei was using to peek on his son and his husband like an insane stalker.

What an ideal father, right?

Oh, Sergei.

In the Gamov house, a slightly drunk and wasted, stinking Yaroslav carried his oga to their bed. He had never imagined Katya would be back like this, but he was tired.

They both were.

Yaroslav still felt like there were a thousand and one pieces missing, but he also had a terrible headache. So, he tucked his oga in, making sure Katya was comfortable.

It helped that the room was filled with both their scents, the reminder of how ho had once been before the chaos on their anniversary one month ago.

And the beta went to freshen up, because there was a lot he needed to catch up on.

He had missed three days of his life because sothing had happened.

Honestly, he wished he could bla it on his father or the madness that ca with being a Moskowsky, but even that was not a good enough explanation for Yaroslav to have cost the company a project.

Granted, the Moskowskys were powerful, feared, and whatnot, but they respected contracts.

It was the first rule of business his father had taught him.

Yet today he had to walk into that office, wasted and out of touch with reality, only to learn that he had not only cost the company a project, but that his property was being auctioned to pay the breach fee;

But he had no recollection whatsoever of the past three days.

That was a lot.

Really.

So, he freshened up, oblivious to his father’s eyes from the building several blocks away, and oblivious to the reality that was waiting for him.

But maybe... Just maybe, this ti, Yaroslav would understand the consequences, no?

Which ones, though?
