Within the rules of the Heavenly Dao, the suppression on demons is already significant.
To elevate a re monkey to the rank of True Monarch is already extrely difficult, even requiring one to bear additional responsibilities for it.
From Li Zhiyuan's perspective, even if this monkey had nothing to do with this place and purely encountered him on the road, he would definitely not bring it into his team.
Run Sheng carried the aura of Deadman, yet he was still human.
However, if Li Zhiyuan were to incorporate a demon that is not subdued by humans but is centered on its own body into his team, it would only increase the inherent difficulty of Zou Jiang.
Therefore, Li Zhiyuan was able to sense that "he" had a special care and affection for the monkey.
This, the monkey was not unaware of, but reality is such that if you treat soone well over a long period, that person might likely beco accustod to it and demand higher standards from you, and once you cannot fulfill them, resentnt will arise.
Having walked this far, after passing by three True Monarchs in a row, the monkey's true body, Li Yuan True Monarch, was nowhere to be seen. This implied that after the rebellion broke out, when the True Monarchs rushed into this place, the monkey charged ahead.
Witnessing this scene, "he" would probably be very saddened.
Thus, "he" deliberately provided a "loophole" for the monkey, allowing the monkey to consciously endure such isolation.
The other True Monarchs were wrapped in a self-awareness suppression state by darkness, akin to being frozen or in coma, but the monkey was constantly forced to experience this despair of being exiled.
Yin ng spoke: "Why do I feel like I'm walking through a haunted house?"
Haunted houses in amusent parks mostly follow this pattern, walking through a path where various terrifying figures are displayed on both sides.
Currently, most haunted houses, to save costs, are reluctant to set up light and shadow effects, so they intentionally adopt this traditional folklore style, featuring King Yan, little ghosts, being boiled in oil, ant to evoke the imagination of visitors based on traditional culture.
Tan Wenbin: "Are we walking in a straight line?"
Yin ng: "What does this an?"
To Yin ng, since they entered, weren't they continuously walking straight down?
Tan Wenbin: "If it were a straight line, then during the rebellion, did all these True Monarchs form a single-file line to get in?"
Yin ng was stunned for a mont, then realized: "Oh, right."
In the final stage of rebellion, once the bow is drawn there is no turning back, everyone would surely swarm forward, how could it be like schoolchildren lining up after class?
Tan Wenbin: "That's why I'm curious, why are they arranged this way? Did soone co later and rearrange their positions?"
Tan Wenbin deliberately raised his voice a bit, hoping that the guide monkey would provide an answer.
The monkey seed to have heard, but offered no reply.
Li Zhiyuan spoke: "We are traveling in a straight line because we have the coverage of the karmic lamp, and what we see—the True Monarch enveloped in darkness—along with our current position, are in another domain, which can be understood as another dinsion.
The original environnt here should be a plane, just like behind the cloud walls of other temples. When we ca in by boat, we didn't see such a big pit here.
This is because under the influence of darkness, the anchor here becos 'him.'
The prison 'he' created naturally expands outward from 'him' at the center, and 'he' himself is positioned most deeply within this prison, enduring the strongest banishnt.
Really, the Eighteen Layers of Hell should be imagined here.
The lower you are, which is what's ahead of us, in 'his' view, the heavier the sins.
Am I right?"
Monkey: "You really resemble 'him,' possessing a serenity and wisdom beyond ordinary people regardless of the circumstances."
Li Zhiyuan: "You're diverting the topic."
Monkey: "That's why we used to trust 'him' so much, because, in our eyes, only the reincarnation of a Bodhisattva or a Bodhisattva walking in the human world could possess such abilities to see through all illusions."
Li Zhiyuan: "You view 'him' as a Bodhisattva, why not see yourselves as 'Yin Gods' under the Bodhisattva?"
The monkey frowned and clenched its fists again.
Li Zhiyuan continued: "Without the deanor of Yin Gods, how could a Bodhisattva possess the image of a Bodhisattva?"
Monkey sneered: "Haha, so you're saying 'he' deceived us, and it's all our fault?"
Li Zhiyuan: "My Grandmaster taught , don't pick up a bowl to eat then put it down to curse your mother."
The monkey suddenly turned around, glaring at the young man: "You're talking nonsense!"
Li Zhiyuan: "You keep saying 'he' tricked you, and since it's deceit, it must be aid at obtaining sothing, so let ask, what did 'he' gain from deceiving you?"
The monkey's face started twitching, becoming increasingly fierce and terrifying.
Li Zhiyuan: "Tricking you into receiving rits one by one, tricking you to beco stronger, tricking you to possess more of the 'Yin God' deanor, tricking you into truly considering yourselves as a deity?"
Monkey: "Enough, shut up!"
Li Zhiyuan: "I'm very curious, even knowing 'he' was a false Bodhisattva, why rise up and overthrow 'him' in such an extre manner?"
Monkey: "Shouldn't we do that!"
Li Zhiyuan pointed back at Lin Shuyou, saying to the monkey:
"There aren't supposed to be so many shoulds and shouldn'ts, I've seen what a Yin God truly subdued by a Bodhisattva looks like. Even a god has private ulterior motives, has demands for interests, and this under the guidance of a true Bodhisattva.
Don't tell , you couldn't tolerate any impurities, serving the Bodhisattva with utter devotion from the start.
