He had no intention of ingratiating himself with Sister i, and he probably wouldn’t co back to the theater again in the future, but after all, Sister i had let them watch half a movie for free today, and Panzi and Leizi were still inside, permitted to stay and keep watching.

Sister i and the two won behind her laughed, finding the boy quite amusing.
Suddenly, there was shouting outside; an old man was riding a tricycle, shouting while pedaling, with a middle-aged man sprawled on the vehicle, his limbs dangling out, resembling an upside-down turtle.
Li Zhiyuan noticed that the middle-aged man’s fingernails were blue and his lips were alarmingly purple.
Sister i ran out worriedly, arguing fervently with the old cyclist.
The old man gestured innocently, explaining that he was just paid to deliver the person, and it was not his fault.
The details erged amidst their quarrel.
The unconscious man was Brother Leopard, Sister i’s man, who had gone to a bathhouse in Shigang Town that afternoon for a bath, followed by a vigorous scrubbing.
Li Zhiyuan didn’t understand why anyone would go to a bathhouse for a bath during the sumr.
Even less did he know what ’vigorous scrubbing’ entailed.
He could only presu it was an intensive back-scrubbing massage and that Brother Leopard must have been too frail for it, hence fainting during the process.
The bathhouse owner didn’t take him to a hospital; instead, he called a tricycle to take him ho.
Sending to the hospital would cost money, which they were unwilling to pay.
Sister i, her face alternating between red and white with anger, pinched the man several tis, while the two won constantly tried to calm her down. Ultimately, Sister i added so more money, got on the tricycle herself, and urged the old man to ride to the town clinic.
However, having already pedaled from Shigang to Shinan, the old man was exhausted, as he only usually did short trips around Shigang Town. Even with the promise of more money from Sister i, he simply couldn’t pedal any further.
But the unconscious man’s condition was already dire; he could not be roused by slapping his face, and without imdiate dical attention, he might die. Sister i was frantic, alternately cursing and crying.
"Xiao Yuan?" Run Sheng looked at Li Zhiyuan.
Li Zhiyuan understood what he ant and nodded.
Run Sheng stepped forward, signaled the old man to sit in the back, and then took over pedaling the tricycle.
Grandmaster’s House had a tricycle, and per Grandmaster’s instructions, Run Sheng had been practicing riding lately and had gotten the hang of it.
Though it was more convenient to use a handcart for short hauls.
At this mont, though the tricycle was carrying three adults, this weight was nothing for Run Sheng, and he quickly rode off.
