Tan Wenbin bent down and hoisted Zheng Haiyang onto his back in no ti.

This clearly showed that besides being diligent with his studies, he hadn’t skipped learning the basics with Run Sheng.

The set of standard procedures he executed was specifically ant for carrying a corpse.

He quickly ran downstairs, arriving at the infirmary, only to find its door locked since the dical staff had gone out for a al.

In fact, even if the door had been open and the dical staff had been present, they wouldn’t have been much help. The infirmary’s function was rely to take students’ temperatures, approve leave requests, or dispense so herbal dicine for common colds; students were sent to the external health clinic for intravenous drips.

Li Zhiyuan reminded, "Brother Runsheng’s tricycle is outside."

Tan Wenbin imdiately ran with the person on his back towards the school gate; the health clinic was in a straight line with the school and very close. At this mont, calling a teacher to find a vehicle was truly inferior to using Run Sheng’s tricycle.

Alii got off the vehicle and walked up to Li Zhiyuan, taking his hand.

On the other end, after Tan Wenbin placed Zheng Haiyang in the vehicle, Run Sheng imdiately rode the tricycle to the health clinic.

Li Zhiyuan and Alii walked slowly, avoiding the crowd, and reached the entrance of the health clinic just as Run Sheng was coming out.

"Alii, you and Brother Runsheng go back first, I have so matters to deal with tonight."

Alii nodded.

"Brother Runsheng, after you drop Alii off, bring our stuff over."

"Got it!"

"You saw that on the TV?"

"I think it adds more grandeur."

"Alii, there are books and papers in the bag, you can start reading them."

Alii sat in the tricycle, clutching the boy’s backpack in her embrace.

After they left, Li Zhiyuan entered the health clinic, just getting the details of the specific ward when from behind, a rush of footsteps was heard; it was the horoom teacher Sun Qing accompanied by two other teachers.

The scene of Tan Wenbin carrying soone out of the school gate had been witnessed by a student and reported to the teachers.

At this mont, Zheng Haiyang, who initially had a terrifying situation in the classroom, had clearly improved, now hooked up to an IV drip. anwhile, Tan Wenbin held a large porcelain jar, "gurgle gurgle," feeding him water.

Sun Qing first went to inquire about the situation from the doctor. After learning there was no danger to life, she also breathed a sigh of relief. Coming back in, she glanced at the jar and asked:

"Is this tap water?"

Tan Wenbin nodded: "He’s very thirsty."

Although the hospital had readily available hot water, lukewarm water was hard to get. Since Zheng Haiyang kept asking for water, Tan Wenbin could only fetch it from a tap.

"Still wants to drink, still wants to drink."

"Not stopping for a bit?" Tan Wenbin asked, "You’ve already drunk so much."

"Brother Bin, I’m really thirsty."

"Alright, I’ll go fetch so."

After drinking two more jars, Zheng Haiyang’s complexion finally improved, no longer pale, though his face looked a bit swollen.

Sun Qing asked, "Have you notified Zheng Haiyang’s parents?"

Upon hearing this, Zheng Haiyang instantly showed a look of resistance and anxiety.

Tan Wenbin: "I haven’t..."

Li Zhiyuan: "Notified them, his grandparents should be on their way now."

"That’s good." Sun Qing looked again at Tan Wenbin, "I asked the doctor, Zheng Haiyang is fine now, you can go back to school now, there’s an exam tonight."

Tan Wenbin muttered, "An exam isn’t as important as a friend."

"Tan Wenbin, you, now, go straight back to school!"

The young horoom teacher had to keep a stern face; without strictness, students wouldn’t fear.

Tan Wenbin reluctantly stood up, clearly not wanting to leave.

"Tan Wenbin, regardless, you can’t just give up on yourself, your parents have high hopes for you."

"Yes, teacher."

Tan Wenbin wasn’t unwilling to return for the exam, but he rembered the frightening words Zheng Haiyang scread during his unconsciousness in the classroom.

He knew, if he went back for the exam, he’d probably miss sothing.

Wasn’t his diligent studying all for this?

"Brother Binbin, you go back to school for the exam, co visit after it’s over."

"I..."

Hearing this, Tan Wenbin was almost certain, by the ti he returned after the exam, everything would have cooled down.

"Teacher Sun, you can go back to the school too, my family will be here soon, I’ll stay here with Zheng Haiyang until his grandparents arrive then I’ll leave."

"Xiao Yuan, are you sure?"

"I’m sure, my family will be here soon, if there’s anything, I’ll call the school."

Li Zhiyuan then directly confird the principal’s office, Teacher Sun’s office, and the school gate’s security room phone numbers.

Sun Qing nodded, she had a supervising duty tonight as well as grading papers; since the student was alright, she had no reason to stay further.

"Tan Wenbin, you co back with to school."

"Okay, teacher." Tan Wenbin, shoulders drooping, followed his horoom teacher out.

As the door was closing, he cast a pleading look towards Li Zhiyuan, who, however, had turned away.

In the ward, only two people were left.

Zheng Haiyang smiled and said, "Brother Xiao Yuan, I’m fine now, you can go ho too."

He knew that Li Zhiyuan never attended evening self-study sessions.

"I didn’t notify your grandparents."

"Ah, really? That’s good, they’re not in good health, I feared they’d worry."

"Did you faint just now, I an in the classroom?"

"Well, I suddenly felt very sleepy, then I lowered my head, and when I woke up, I found myself being carried by Brother Bin at the health clinic. I was terribly thirsty and really wanted so water.

After drinking the water, I felt like there was nothing wrong."

"Didn’t see anything in between, or have any dreams?"

Zheng Haiyang shook his head, "No."

"Think carefully again, see if you can rember anything."

Zheng Haiyang pondered hard but still shook his head: "It seems like I blacked out, I really don’t rember."
