The second floor is divided into small compartnts.
Tan Wenbin: "Brother, just sit here and wait for your brothers to finish."
Li Zhiyuan sat down on a chair outside.
After whispering in Lin Shuyou’s ears, Tan Wenbin each entered a room with the two technicians, who were carrying plastic baskets.
Initially, it was a fairly standard massage, though sowhat perfunctory and sloppy.
As the technicians began to tease towards more sensitive areas, Tan Wenbin sowhat helplessly said:
"Forget it, I’m too tired, not in the mood, let just pay you and take a nap."
Next door, Lin Shuyou, facing the sa situation, shook his head and said:
"I can’t."
"I don’t believe it."
"I really can’t."
"Trust ."
"No, no."
"Give yourself so confidence. Most n your age just have a psychological issue, there’s nothing wrong."
"No, really not necessary."
"Don’t worry, I’ll help you."
"No, I really don’t want to."
"Don’t be afraid, sis understands you."
"You don’t understand."
"Are you still a virgin?"
"I..."
"Sis will give you a discount, consider it a red envelope gift for you."
The technician from Tan Wenbin’s compartnt had already left, and Li Zhiyuan entered this compartnt.
There was a window here, directly facing the circus.
Li Zhiyuan took out the Array Diagram he had drawn in advance from Tan Wenbin’s backpack, directing from above the specific setup positions and precautions after dark.
Tan Wenbin nodded continuously; these Arrays were to be set up on the periter, attracting opponents to deal with them; if the situation gets out of control, they could also use these to delay and evacuate.
The number of Arrays was sowhat large. Tan Wenbin began to plan the ti he needed, while Li Zhiyuan started to draw a mini-Array Diagram targeted at the performance tent on site.
Once everything was planned, Lin Shuyou pushed the door and ca in.
Tan Wenbin chuckled: "Wow, that took quite long."
Lin Shuyou’s face reddened and said, "I did nothing, just that the aunt was too enthusiastic; it took a lot to persuade her to leave."
Tan Wenbin: "The aunt is professional."
Just next door, even through the wooden board, the conversation was clearly audible.
They were busy with serious matters; usually, Tan Wenbin would really tease: "Ah You, just comply with the sister."
Li Zhiyuan handed another set of Array Diagrams to Lin Shuyou, asking, "Can you understand this?"
Lin Shuyou nodded then shook his head: "I recognize it, but don’t know how to use it."
Basic understanding, but only basic.
"Recognizing is enough, follow the instructions and go place the flags after dark."
"Okay, understood."
Li Zhiyuan arranged for Tan Wenbin to set up around the periter, while Lin Shuyou would set up in the inner circle as he’s more agile and less likely to alert anyone.
As dusk fell, the performance tent was already set up and the crowd thinned.
Tan Wenbin couldn’t help but remark: "It seems, this shop isn’t doing well, huh? No one asked us to vacate the room for so long."
They waited until late at night when it was mostly quiet outside, and the circus’s people had returned to their tents or cars to rest.
It was ti to act.
The trio left the compartnt, went downstairs, only to find out the downstairs was pitch dark; the glass door was locked, and the rolling door was shut.
Apparently, they had closed for the night.
They had completely forgotten—or perhaps had not even considered that there might still be custors resting in the second-floor compartnt so late without checking.
Breaking the door would cause a disturbance, so the three had to go back to the second floor and climb out through the window.
Tan Wenbin needed to be careful with both hands and feet; Lin Shuyou first jumped down, placed his own backpack and Tan Wenbin’s hiking bag down, then jumped back up to the second floor to help Li Zhiyuan climb down.
After making two trips up and down, Tan Wenbin was still testing the stability of the bracket on the telephone pole.
Once he climbed down, the three split up to act.
Li Zhiyuan hid under a slope close to the circus, responsible for observing the inside situation, but he didn’t need to look up, just listening was enough.
Tan Wenbin and Lin Shuyou, each with a pack of differently sized and styled Array Formation Flags, began to set up.
Lin Shuyou, handling the inner circle and more difficult task, completed his mission almost the sa ti as Tan Wenbin, both returning under the slope.
Both were slightly out of breath, and Li Zhiyuan gave them so ti to rest.
Just when they thought it was about the right ti to start, Li Zhiyuan suddenly heard the rustling sound in his ears.
The young man slowly raised his head, looking forward.
In the distance, a grandma, carrying two white lanterns, was walking towards them step by step.
Her shoes resembled wooden clogs, her footsteps were hard and made quite a noise.
Moreover, as she approached, her legs seed to gradually lengthen, eerily appearing taller despite not using stilts.
The light of the white lanterns cast her face in a ghastly pale.
"Hehehehehe..."
A sinister smile emanated from her as she started calling out:
"What naughty kids, not sleeping peacefully late at night, making Grandma co to find you."
