Reyansh stood in the aftermath of his creation, the blood pooling near his boots, two heads with their eyes still open and one unconscious boy pinned to the wall.
"No need to kill him, Vanya will decide your fate," he stated while looking at Aryan as he moved to sit on a chair for the first ti after arriving in this room.
He exhaled as he sat on the chair, his mind going over the events that occurred in past half an hour.
There was no joy or excitent in his heart, only a certainty that he eliminated soone who threatened his family, this did give him a small relief but nothing beyond that.
He opened his phone to check for any news about Hunter’s Council but there were only articles popping up about his kill and no response of the authorities.
He extended his ntal energy outwards, looking for any kind of ambush or barricading but there was none.
’There’s no doubt that soone did stop the Council but why and who?’ he wondered.
’Did Miss Arpita?...Only she knew before hand that I was coming here, but she is just a principal. Even if she has influence, that will be a big stretch,’ he thought.
’I’ll find out eventually,’ he looked at his hands as he stood up.
’I did do it Hands-free but I really just wanted to give a beat down when he was trying to cozy up so shalessly.’
’Well, I will have to use soone else for the role,’ he thought as he moved towards the bodies.
He looked at the both the bodies and focused on them for a second, the next mont, a bright yellow fla engulfed their bodies, burning it.
He did the sa with their heads, while using blood manipulation, he gathered all the pooled blood in a single large ball.
’Should I burn away this too?’ he wondered for a second as he scoured through his mory about his talent, Origin of Blood.
He opened the system panel and checked the description of the effect, Blood Puppet.
[Blood Puppet – Sovereign Legion]
[Form 1: Blood Constructs]
– Create entities from pure blood essence.
– The shape and size of entities depends on your thought and amount of blood used.
– Each Puppet has independent combat intelligence, self regeneration from blood essence and an unique skill.
[Form 2: Locked]
[Form 3: Locked]
The mont he read the description, he imdiately understood the nuances behind this skill and the way to use it.
’I knew I just scratched the surface of this talent. Though it’s not my style yet to fight along with an army. I can use this to create powerful sentries for protection of others.’ He decided.
He focused on burning out the impurities and sense of previous owners of blood and purified into pure blood essence. The large ball of blood reduced to less than half its size after purification.
The earlier muddy red color was replaced by bright red color, even its pungent sll was gone. Now, it slled like nectar of life, capable of birthing powerful blood constructs.
However, instead of using this, he stored the essence in inventory.
’I need the blood of powerful monsters, both of them were weak. Their only utility was that they were human.’
’Maybe I should ask miss Arpita, I am sure she will have contacts than can provide the blood of powerful monsters.’ He decided as he moved across the room.
He looked at pale body of Aryan and used telekinesis to pour potion on both of his shoulder. ’That should do it before authorities arrive, whenever they decide to co.’
Next he stood in front of his katana, still embedded in wall, cracks on the wall were now visible. The True Fla had burned their bodies completely, not even leaving ashes behind.
Besides no ashes, there was no burn mark on the wall or the ground, where there heads were. He pulled out the katana from the wall, no damage even due to fire, it retracted back into his tattoo.
He turned towards the gate, hands in his pockets again. He extended his ntal energy to the whole floor, sensing no one.
’Did she flee?’ he wondered about the receptionist at the counter as he calmly exited the room that was place of a brutal ga few minutes ago.
He entered the elevator and started moving towards the ground floor. He used blood sense and expanded ntal energy to look for any possible attempt at ambush or confrontation, but there were none.
As he went down with the elevator, he sensed people backing away from the vicinity of gate. He didn’t read their minds but due to his ntal energy, he could sense their emotions.
So were frightened, so relieved and few were cautious too. He just smiled at their response.
’Are they relieved that Jai died or that I am leaving?’ a thought crossed his mind but it wasn’t important enough for him to dwell on it.
Just as elevator reached the ground floor and the gate opened, he was greeted by presence of two middle aged man with their mana guns pointed at them.
He had already sensed their presence, a floor above, he still kept his hands in his pocket, eyeing them carefully.
Their hands were sweating and shaking due to fear, even though both were awakened, their core rank was at D.
"Seriously, you think those are powerful than a S-ranker?" he spoke, watching no one move.
Suddenly, their face looked like they have just had a realization. They started backing away, step by step, clearing the way, while Reyansh stepped forward.
"W-We thought we could handle you to the council, so that...." One of the guards stopped midway as he looked bewildered because he was staring at an empty space, monts ago where Reyansh used.
Reyansh used Astral Step with Unseen Path just as he stepped forward, disappearing from eyesight of the guards, teleporting himself in front of the cab, waiting for him.
The sudden appearance of Reyansh startled the driver a bit as he jumped in his seat.
"Relax, it’s only ," Reyansh said as he opened the gate to sit in the back.
However, just as he was about to enter, he sensed an intent penetrating through his ntal energy, about to lock onto him.
He imdiately turned toward the source of that intent, though it didn’t caused any reaction from his perception and even he felt that intent was more of a curiosity rather than a threat.
But when he looked in that direction, there was nothing, no one. He even pointed his ntal energy in that direction as far as he could, around fifty ters, the result was still the sa.
"Sir StarWalker?" the driver called, watching Reyansh looking the other way.
"Yeah, let’s go," Reyansh said as he sat down though his mind still lingered on that intent.
’Was it my over cautiousness or was sobody really there?’ he wondered.
’Well, I can identify that intent now so I won’t miss it next ti,’ he quietly stated as he made himself comfortable in the seat.
"You can take it easy, there’s no rush," Reyansh ntioned.
"Okay, Sir StarWalker," the driver agreed.
’Did he see the stream too? Well whatever.’
Reyansh sat quietly in the back of the cab, glancing outside the window while going over his entire day in his head.
