He closed the panel, taking a deep breath, this was a tiny step in his long-term goal of making himself the strongest.
Postponing the summoning of stream manager when he was alone, he stood up. As he walked back towards the room, he saw the doctor responsible for check up of Vanya pass through.
Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind, he stopped and called, "Excuse , doctor."
The doctor turned towards Reyansh, she recognized him imdiately, "Yes, Vanya’s brother, what can I do for you?"
"Doctor, could I take so of your ti? I have to ask sothing related to my mother’s disease," he requested.
She looked at her watch before responding, "I am off duty now so I have few minutes, you can ask. If it is sothing within my prerogative, I will answer best to my abilities."
They both sat on the sofa nearby.
"Thank you for your ti doctor. My mother has Excess Mana Syndro, I know there’s no permanent treatnt yet."
"But I have read few articles about symptomatic treatnts that can help stay patient awake and reduce the adverse effects on the body." Reyansh shared.
The doctor nodded, "Yes, you are right, there are but that’s not my specialty. I only know there are so treatnts which temporarily alleviate the patient symptoms."
"Do you have any doctor in your contact or soone you can refer to that could help provide relief for my mother?" he asked.
"Yeah, there is one in this hospital but I would refer you to the best doctor in India and one of the top doctors in world for this disease especially." She replied.
"This may cost you a little but I am suggesting you because you can afford the treatnt."
"Her treatnt has resulted in many positive results. If you want I can give you the number of her office." She added.
"That’s fantastic, it will be very helpful," Reyansh agreed with a smile on his face.
The doctor gave him the number and wished him the best while Reyansh thanked her as she left.
Holding the paper with number written on it, he thought, ’I hope she could help my mother. Just wait mother, you will be talking to your children soon.’
He dialed the number imdiately, the phone rang while Reyansh’s heart pounded with expectations.
"Hello, Dr Neha’s office, how may I help you?" a feminine voice ca from other side of the call.
"Yes, I am calling regarding scheduling an appointnt of Dr Neha," Reyansh replied.
"Okay, is the patient already diagnosed? If yes, can you ntion the ailnt of the patient along with personal details of patient and location."
"I am calling from Mumbai, she is my mother, and is diagnosed with Excess Mana Syndro. Her na is Avni Kaul, 38 years old."
"Okay, Sir, you called at a good ti. Dr Neha will be in Mumbai, day after tomorrow. You can book your appointnt on that day." She suggested.
"She is available in morning at 8 AM and in evening between 5 to 7 PM. Which ti is suitable for you, Sir?" she asked.
"Morning ti."
"Okay, sir, I have confird your appointnt on 22nd April, 8’o clock in the morning. You can pay 1000 Coins in advance and rest of the paynt after the treatnt."
She told Reyansh the code for paynt, he transferred 1000 Coins imdiately.
"I have received the advance paynt, sir. I will call back on 22nd morning for picking up Dr Neha. Thank you for calling, sir. If you have any questions, you can contact this number 24×7."
"Okay," he ended the call and took a deep breath, exhaling through mouth.
Just as he stood up to go into room, he received a ssage from Amit, telling he was outside the hospital.
’Half hour passed, huh? Vanya would be pissed,’ he thought as he hurried towards the room, replying Amit to wait for few minutes.
Just as he entered the room, "What kind of cab were you booking, brother?" Vanya’s questioning voice reached his ears.
"The special kind, are we free to go?" he replied as he smiled sheepishly
"I was ready to go ages ago," she stated as she exited the room with Reyansh beside her.
"Did you made a girlfriend, brother?" she questioned as he looked at him.
"Nope, where did that ca from?" he replied as he kept walking straight.
"Well, I hope that, if not, its tragic that you harass a cab driver by talking to him for half an hour," Vanya rolled her eyes, but the next she received a head chop.
"That potion worked too well, huh? Your mouth is running without brakes," he taunted as both exited the hospital.
Vanya rubbed her head, trying to play the hurting sister when her landed on the crimson red hover car ahead.
"Wow, that’s a cool car. It is Aether Ride 3.0 with improved mana reactor, comfort and most of all, style," Vanya exclaid like a child looking at chocolate for first ti.
"Do you really like it?" Reyansh asked, his face almost smug.
"Yeah, it’s my favorite and very new on the market. There are less than 100 such cars in Mumbai." She nodded, her eyes still glued to the car.
"Well, then go sit in it," Reyansh stated it like a fact.
Suddenly, Vanya’s head turned towards her brother, looking at him like ghost.
"Are you joking, brother? It’s not a good joke," she spoke, her voice sharp.
Reyansh didn’t say anything and just pointed at the car. Amit ca out of the car from driver side and opened the back doors.
"Is this cars really ours?" she questioned, her eyes moving between Amit and car, Amit nodded in response.
"YEAH!" she jumped at hug Reyansh tightly, "Thank you brother, you are the best."
He didn’t say anything, silently enjoying his sister’s happiness.
There was only one thought on his mind, ’If protecting that smile ant killing every Guildmaster in the world...then so be it.’
