Back in the classroom, Horikita Suzune sat silently at her desk. She still had over thirty thousand left in her balance, which should be enough to get by for a while. But she felt like it wasn't worth it at all. The so-called common sense that Chabashira Sae sold was basically useless.

All she said was that the classes would compete with each other, and in the end, Class A would be the winner. Oh, and the exchange rate between class points and personal points is one to one hundred. And those who make no contribution to the class or can't keep up with the pace will be the first to get eliminated and expelled.

What's the point of all this common sense?

Looking at her classmates laughing and ssing around, so showing off their new ga consoles, others excitedly making after-school plans, Horikita Suzune felt seriously annoyed. What she wanted was to move up to Class A as fast as possible—ideally, to jump straight to Class A within this sester. But could this bunch really make it?

She couldn't understand why the school would put her in Class D. What were they even thinking?

At this stage, besides academic ability, what else could they possibly value in a student?

Did they expect a high schooler to win a national competition or sothing?

Ridiculous school, ridiculous class—she was definitely not so kind of trash. She was determined to wipe the floor with these people, especially that Class A Kaoru Mitoma.

Just because her brother invited him to join the student council, he started acting all high and mighty—way too arrogant. Horikita Suzune felt she was calm right now. Even though she had told Kaoru Mitoma she would lead the class to Class A, the thought of his one million private points had definitely gotten her fired up.

Even soone like Kaoru Mitoma managed to get a million personal points within the first week of school—so she should be able to do it too, right?

If not in a week, then maybe in a month. As long as she could gather twenty million personal points within a year or so, she could transfer smoothly to Class A. But where exactly were personal points supposed to co from?

Horikita Suzune couldn't help but fall into deep thought. In this school where strength was everything, a student's class determined their worth, but personal points seed like another kind of cheat code. It was as if the school was saying,

"If you're tired of being dragged down by those losers, why not just work hard on your own?"

But twenty million personal points... While Horikita Suzune was still struggling with this, soone suddenly called her na in a soft voice.

"Hey, Horikita, how did your chat with Mitoma-kun go yesterday?"

Just hearing that voice, there was no doubt—it was Kushida Kikyo.

"It was nothing, you don't need to—" Horikita Suzune didn't really want to get involved with Kushida Kikyo, but then she rembered her own goal and quickly changed her tune.

"Did Mitoma-kun tell you anything?"

"Eh? Mitoma-kun never ntioned anything to . Did sothing really happen yesterday?"

Kikyo Kushida blinked, looking like she didn't quite get what was being implied.

"Just asking."

Suzune Horikita eyes showed a hint of disappointnt. She'd thought Kikyo Kushida might know sothing. Kikyo Kushida noticed this and felt a little stir inside. Scenes from yesterday flashed through her mind again. Should she say sothing or not?

"Horikita, you just went to the office, right?" Kiyotaka Ayanokouji suddenly cut in.

"It's the first ti I've seen you catch up with Chabashira-sensei. Usually, after class, you just read your book like no one else exists."

Suzune Horikita shot him a cold glance. This guy was getting way too comfortable talking to her lately.

"Are you really okay?"

Kikyo Kushida's eyes showed a trace of concern. Suzune Horikita was silent for a mont.

"What do you two think of Class D?"

Kikyo Kushida and Kiyotaka Ayanokouji exchanged a glance. So it was finally coming up?

"I think everyone is really nice, but... why ask all of a sudden?"

Kikyo Kushida's face naturally showed a look of surprise.

"I heard from Mitoma-kun that this school asures student abilities based on so-called strength." Horikita Suzune said coolly.

"I just confird this with Chabashira-sensei as well. From the mont we enrolled, the school decided we were a bunch of rejects."

"Isn't there so kind of mistake here?"

Hearing her say that, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka expression turned odd. If he hadn't followed Horikita Suzune with her yesterday, he might have actually believed her act.

"I wish the school had made a mistake too, but Chabashira-sensei completely denied it."

Horikita Suzune sounded a bit helpless and frustrated now. She just couldn't figure out what made her any worse than Suzuki Toru. But Horikita Suzune quickly pulled herself together and shared what she knew with the other two.

"I see. So that ans we all have to work together to reach Class A, right?"

Horikita Suzune stayed silent. She still hadn't decided if she wanted to lead this bunch to Class A.

"Horikita-san, you must have a reason why you absolutely have to get to Class A, right?"

Kushida Kikyo said softly.

"As long as everyone works together, we can definitely make it to Class A. I believe in our classmates, so please don't worry about that."

'Heh, like I'd let you sneak off and grab all the private points for yourself.'

That thought flashed through Kushida Kikyo mind, but on the surface, she kept her bright, cheerful smile.

Horikita Suzune glanced around, especially when she saw the boys in the class loudly arguing about whose oppai was bigger, and she frowned deeply. Are these guys really reliable?

"Right now, all the classes have the sa number of points. Even if there's a difference next month, I doubt it'll be by much,"

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka said, as if reminding everyone.

"If there's a gap between classes next month, that ans there must be an increase or decrease in class points this month. Our competition with the other classes has already started, we just don't know what the school grading criteria are."

Yeah, as long as you know these basic facts, anyone can figure out that the so-called class competition has already begun. If this were an exam, the school has already given each class the questions, but the answer sheets haven't been handed out yet, so no one knows how to answer.

Horikita Suzune felt a bit frustrated. She actually wanted to buy this information, but she really didn't have enough points. Just then, she suddenly heard Kushida Kikyou say sothing surprising.

"If Horikita-san needs information, I happen to know a student from Class A. He might be able to provide so info."

"You're not talking about Mitoma-kun, are you? Forget that guy, I don't need his information."

"Ahaha, not Suzuki-kun, it was another student from Class A."

Kikyo Kushida seed to be recalling sothing.

"She told that if I wanted to know anything, I could go to her, but I'd have to pay her in points. At the ti, I thought she was joking, so I didn't respond."

Horikita Suzune hadn't believed it at first, but when she rembered Kaoru Mitoma personal points, she suddenly had an idea. Selling information to other students really was a pretty good way to make money. No wonder Kaoru Mitoma had a million points.

Horikita Suzune felt like she'd just discovered a business opportunity.

"If I want to know the school grading criteria, how many points would I have to pay?" Horikita Suzune asked directly.

"I'll ask for you."

Kikyo Kushida blinked, then took out her phone and started contacting soone. Horikita Suzune didn't suspect anything and waited quietly for a reply. Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, standing to the side, felt a little speechless.

He didn't know the details, but he could guess that Kikyo Kushida was obviously contacting Kaoru Mitoma. After all, he had been right there yesterday when Kikyo Kushida got the ssage.

Hmm, I didn't see the contents. But it's way too easy to guess the answer. After all, it was Kikyo Kushida who helped Kaoru Mitoma invite Suzune Horikita out in the first place. Saying there's nothing going on between them is obviously a lie. It's just that I don't know what they're up to. Are they setting a trap for Suzune Horikita?

Kiyotaka Ayanokouji felt a strange sense of unease. Even if they wanted to go after Suzune Horikita, there should at least be a reason, right?

Is it just because of the so-called president?

Kiyotaka Ayanokouji decided to stay put for now. He wanted to observe a bit longer and see what Kaoru Mitoma was really after.

"Alright, Kamuro replied,"

Kikyo Kushida said, sounding a little cheerful.

"She said they're currently in the middle of an exam, and since this involves the specific exam rules, the school forbids selling them, so she can't say anything."

Suzune Horikita let out a breath she didn't realize she'd been holding.
