Recently, Class D has been preparing for a study session.

The one who suggested it was Yosuke Hirata. He approached the students with better grades in the class and asked them to help tutor all the underachievers.

Every day after school, they would spend about two hours in the classroom studying. Especially those who had once been sentenced to fail by Sae Chabashira—they all signed up to participate.

However, only Sudo, Ike, and Yamauchi refused to join the study session.

Horikita Suzune found this completely baffling. She couldn't understand what these people were thinking—did they really not care even if they were about to get expelled?

She was already fed up with the class lazy atmosphere, so without much hesitation, she imdiately had Ayanokouji Kiyotaka bring them to the library to join her study group.

Of course, it wasn't out of kindness toward her classmates. Horikita Suzune had even considered just using this chance to get rid of a bunch of underachievers. But since having too many people expelled might affect the class as a whole, she decided to give them a hand—if she could save them, she would, and if not, she'd give up right away.

Horikita Suzune had her plans all worked out, and Ayanokouji Kiyotaka agreed to her request. She just didn't expect him to bring Kushida Kikyo along.

When it ca to Kushida Kikyo, Horikita Suzune didn't have much of a good impression. In fact, the more Kushida tried to get close to her, the worse her impression beca.

She always felt like there was another face hiding behind that smile. Still, seeing that Ayanokouji Kiyotaka really did bring Sudou Ken and the others, Horikita Suzune decided to let his decision slide for now.

Even though she'd already expected these idiots to be bad at studying, Horikita Suzune realized she'd still seriously underestimated them. Forget the stuff in the textbooks—they didn't even know things from middle school.

On top of that, they even turned around and asked her what a system of linear equations was. This level can't even be called ignorant anymore—it's like they've never been to school at all. No wonder they're at the bottom of the class, especially Sudo Ken, who's clinging to last place with a lowest score.

Suzune Horikita seriously suspected he just got lucky and picked the right answers on a couple of multiple-choice questions. She had no idea how to move forward. No matter what she said, these people just didn't get it, and in the end, it always ended in frustration.

"Horikita, if you keep doing things this way, no one's ever going to want to study with you…" After watching Sudo Ken and the others leave, Kikyo Kushida let out a deep sigh.

"It's definitely not my fault. Even if I help them get through this ti, the sa problems will just co up again next ti. If they don't fix their habits, it's pointless." Suzune Horikita voice turned icy cold.

"Rather than waste ti on people like that, maybe it's better to just give up."

Kikyo Kushida was stunned, not expecting her to say sothing like that. Her eyes flickered, and then she looked to Kiyotaka Ayanokoji for help.

"Hey, Ayanokoji-kun, do you feel the sa way?"

"If that's the conclusion Horikita ca to, then it's fine by ." Kiyotaka Ayanokoji face didn't show any emotion, like he'd just go along with whatever Suzune Horikita said.

Kushida Kikyo lowered her eyes, as if a shadow had fallen over her face, then forced a smile.

"I'll figure sothing out. Splitting up with everyone this early... I can't agree to sothing like that."

"If you really wanted to help them, I'd be rooting for you. But I don't think that's what you're after."

Kushida Kikyo expression stiffened, like she finally couldn't take the mockery anymore, just like everyone else.

"Why can you say such hurtful things so casually, Horikita?" she bit her lip, looking genuinely pitiful.

"I really do want to help everyone... It just hurts so much."

After saying that, Kushida Kikyo picked up her bag, gave the two of them a slight nod, and left the library.

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka watched her go, then glanced at Horikita Suzune as if nothing had happened. Now it was just the two of them left at this study session.

"Didn't expect you to think the sa way I do," Horikita Suzune said.

"If you need help studying, I can teach you a bit too."

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka was speechless. Did this woman really have no idea how to interact with people?

Even soone like him, who grew up in the White Room, understood a little about socializing.

"I'll pass. I get why you look down on Sudou and the others, but maybe try thinking about things outside of studying for once. It might actually do you so good."

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka thought his warning was basically a clear hint, but to his surprise, Horikita Suzune completely ignored what he said.

"Not interested... "

Halfway through her sentence, Horikita Suzune suddenly paused, looking suspiciously at a certain spot before quickly trying to hide her expression. Ayanokouji Kiyotaka glanced over, he had already noticed Kaoru Mitoma and Kamuro Masumi.

"Let's call it a day. I'm heading back." Horikita Suzune tried her best to act casual, but inside she was shocked—why was Kaoru Mitoma here?

And the girl with him—wasn't that her creditor?

What the hell was going on?

Since she didn't received a single personal point this month, Horikita Suzune had no way to pay back her debt. The whole thing was giving her a massive headache.

Luckily, she had six months to pay it off, or she would've been in real trouble already. She needed to figure out a way to deal with this debt. But she never expected to run into Kamuro Masumi here.

One was the person trying to get her expelled, the other was her creditor. Wasn't there sothing seriously wrong with this combo?

Horikita Suzune didn't have ti to think it over. Right now, she just wanted to avoid them and calm down to think things through.

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka watched her make her escape and couldn't help but fall into thought.

He didn't know the full story, but with the clues he had, he could piece together a bit. He knew Kaoru Mitoma wanted to expel Horikita Suzune, and he also knew Horikita Suzune had completed an information trade with a student from Class A.

Could it be the girl standing next to Kaoru Mitoma?

If that was the case, didn't that make Horikita Suzune just like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered by the hunter?

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka expression sharpened, and just then he noticed Kaoru Mitoma looking over calmly. Their eyes t.

At that mont, he saw Kaoru Mitoma give him an intrigued smile.

In an instant, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka felt like he'd been targeted by so kind of predator, his whole body tensing up, though outwardly his expression didn't change at all. He turned around, picked up his bag, and walked out of the library without a word.

It looks like this Kaoru Mitoma is probably coming for him. As for whether he's from White Room, all he can do is wait patiently for Kaoru Mitoma to make a move. They're not actually going to expel him on the spot, right?

But what Ayanokouji Kiyotaka doesn't know is that not long after he left, Kaoru Mitoma received a ssage and then got up and left the library as well.
