Qian Bolin quietly looked at the docunt placed on the table, his brow furrowed. The cigarette in his hand had burned to the end, and his fingers were beginning to feel the increasingly hot temperature of the red-hot tip.
He stubbed out the cigarette in the ashtray, stood up, walked to the window, and pulled open the curtains. Sunlight poured into the room, and the smoky haze in the air was left nowhere to hide in the waterfall-like sunlight.
Outside the window ca the sound of patrolling soldiers' footsteps, the whoosh of military flying cars speeding by, the blaring of horns, the roar of cha engines, and the commands of officers. Though Qian Bolin had listened to these sounds his whole life, he still liked to just listen quietly. In this seemingly noisy wave of sound, he felt a sense of life's existence.
This was the military base of Feiyang located on Kunlun Star in the Chuckna Long March Star Domain.
Such military bases could be found in many mber countries of the Fei Alliance, but in Chuckna, it was rely a temporary site built jointly by the two countries for peaceti military cooperation. Chuckna is a proud nation, especially in military affairs. They never provoke disputes, never indulge in militarism, yet they can win every war.
This is a naturally unyielding nation. No country can establish a military base or station troops on their territory, not even the Feiyang Republic.
If it weren't for this war, this base would probably continue to maintain its usage frequency of once every three years.
Kunlun Star.......this planet leading to the Jump Point adjacent to the Resk Star System, is one of Chuckna's two forward bases. The na of this planet is said to originate from an ancient Earth mountain range. Qian Bolin heard this mountain ntioned in a famous poem he knew.
"I laugh towards heaven with a drawn sword, leaving or staying, my courage covers both Kunluns."
It's said that an ancient scholar wrote this in prison before being executed. However, his poem, full of an awe-inspiring spirit, has not been erased by history over thousands of years.
That Leray Major General nad Tian Xingjian also seems to be a Chuckna person.
Qian Bolin turned his head and looked at the docunt quietly lying on the desk. He didn't quite understand why Margaret would follow this guy nad Tian Xingjian and leave Mars Free Port.
As the Suss Fleet launched a major assault on Mars, with the Southeast Main Channel battle imminent, where exactly had this Fatty and his bandit army gone, what were they planning, and would Margaret be in danger?
Qian Bolin was sowhat worried.
It was already his third day in Chuckna. When he left the Feiyang Capital, Hydefield, the Alliance Command Center had already issued the order to form the joint military forces of the Eastern Theater.
The Eastern Theater was essentially the joint forces of Feiyang and Chuckna.
However, this was not the loosely ford alliance forces of the past.
To counter the expansion of the Suss Empire and the Jiepeng Empire in the east and southeast, both the Feiyang Army and the Chuckna Military Departnt had made up their minds. They were bringing out their strongest forces.
Feiyang had committed nine A-class fleets, ten A-class armored divisions, twenty B-class armored divisions, thirty-two fully chanized infantry divisions, and twenty giant transport ships. And the Chuckna Republic, being the main war nation of the Eastern Theater, directly integrated its frontline command into the alliance command.
Now, the Feiyang forces were still arriving in succession. Naturally, Qian Bolin was busy like the Chuckna generals, organizing troops into the alliance forces, handling personnel arrangents, supplenting supplies, building command bases, analyzing intelligence, and integrating combat command systems.
When the allied forces finally took shape, Qian Bolin would assu the position of Deputy Commander of the war zone and lead the Feiyang Fleet into the Resk Star System to coordinate with the Chuckna Army.
To be honest, if Hastings hadn't specifically ntioned that Leray Major General, Qian Bolin wouldn't have even cared about a small major general from a small allied country. He had too many things to do.
Besides the task of forming the alliance, he also needed to understand and digest Hastings' operation schematic. For him, that was the most important thing. There was another important issue......the attack launched by Douglas on the Longbow Star System was already counting down. This battle would be the horn that heralds the opening of the entire Southeast war situation, and its outco would determine whether this great war could have a promising start.
This war seed to have nothing to do with the Leray people. Even in the Southeast Star Domain, the current Leray couldn't provide any assistance. So why bother concerning himself with a Leray Major General who had ended up in the Free World?
Just because he had gathered a ragtag group?!
Qian Bolin checked the ti. It was ten in the morning, and this should be the ti for Douglas to contact the military and send back reports.
How were the situations.....and what evaluation would he have for that Leray Major General?!

The narrow passage, illuminated brightly by white electronic lights, was dead silent. The characteristic hissing of the life support system and the hum of the gravity system made the passage even quieter.
In the silence, Margaret looked at the Fatty's fearless face, shaless and brazen, and after a long while, suddenly smiled faintly, her sunlike golden hair flicking as she turned and walked first into the warship passage.
She had nothing more to say to this unreasonable Leray Major General. Instead of arguing with him here to retrieve the [Pars] ship, it would be better to directly pressure Bernadotte through the Feiyang Army.
