After the deathly silence, a commotion ensued!
Everyone present heard clearly; the sound played through the mobile phone was unmistakably Carey and Martin’s. The tone and voice characteristics were identical. Fatty had gone to the parking lot and returned in less than ten minutes, making it impossible to synthesize their voices using a computer in such a short ti. Obviously, Fatty was not lying.
Understanding this, the way all the nobles looked at Carey and Martin had completely changed. What was just a slight suspicion before had now turned into complete contempt and ridicule. Just thinking that these two nobles actually frequented places lower-class people often visited and cavorted with prostitutes of unknown filthiness disgusted and embarrassed the nobles. Even the few aristocratic youths who ca with Carey and Martin instinctively stepped back two steps.

Fatty’s honest face showed a panicked and heartbroken expression as he called out: "How can you throw other people’s things around? That’s mine, don’t you have any sense of reason!" He turned to Christina and asked: "Did you see that? The mobile phone wasn’t broken by ; if you want compensation, ask him for it; it has nothing to do with !"
Martin punched Fatty suddenly, unable to accept such humiliation. In his fit of fury, he had forgotten the embarrassnt of being pushed to the ground earlier. His anger was enough to make him lose his senses. Amid the noble ladies’ exclamations, Fatty seed not to see the punch as he turned to pick up the mobile phone fragnts on the ground. As a result, Martin’s punch hit his shoulder directly.
Fatty’s shoulder moved slightly, hard to notice by others, and all people heard was Martin’s scream of pain as his hand failed to exert force and ended up breaking when it hit Fatty’s shoulder bone.
Fatty raised his head, looked around blankly, seemingly not understanding what had happened. The onlookers reproached Martin’s sneak attack while being amused by Fatty’s thick-skinned and slow reaction, making their expressions peculiar montarily. The attacker was holding his hand and screaming in pain nonstop, while the victim appeared clueless, unaffected, causing a mixture of laughter and amazent.
Several attendants hurried forward to carry Martin away for treatnt. The nobles made way, and so girls clutched their ample chests, softly crying out as if frightened.
Carey forced himself to calm down, thinking that this was not so simple; the recording was obviously pre-prepared, soone was targeting him or his family. This was their trick! He pretended to smile lightly and said: "Very well, didn’t expect you to be so prepared. Who sent you?"
Fatty froze and said: "What’s sent?"
Carey sneered: "You are so prepared, if you say no one sent you to fra us, you think I would believe it?"
Fatty acted dumbfoundedly, tongue-tied, clearly not reacting: "What are you talking about? I don’t understand. Earlier, I said you went to Kazek for matchmaking, you denied it, now presenting evidence, you smashed my mobile phone and even accused of being sent to fra you." He pouted with disdain: "You guys are not big shots; why would I fra you? Who would send to do such boring stuff?"
Carey was furious, although he wasn’t royal, his family was an old aristocrat of Gazalin, and his father held the high office of Minister of Propaganda. Yet Fatty outright mocked him, as if he were just a minor character.
Just as Carey was about to lose his temper, the star of the ball, the Third Prince Stephen, and his brother Bruce walked slowly into the crowd. The rowdy crowd fell silent imdiately, embarrassed by their earlier noisy behavior at the ball, greeting respectfully: "Hello, Your Highness."
"Prince Stephen."
"Good day, Prince Bruce."
The noble ladies hurriedly stopped their chatter, curtseyed.
Stephen didn’t expect such an incident at his ball, feeling angry inside, but his gentlemanly face remained gentle and amiable. He walked straight into the crowd, giving Carey and Martin a aningful look. Seeing his gaze, Carey and Martin lowered their heads in fear. Stephen sighed inwardly; these families that secretly supported him were his biggest strength in the fight for the throne, especially Carey’s family. Ever since he joined the Military Departnt, Carey’s shrewd father had abandoned his previous indecisive attitude, supporting him fully in both overt and covert ways. Not to ntion, he had significantly lowered the dostic impact of the failed landing campaign.
