[Royal Banner] shook violently, struggled twice, and helplessly fell to the ground. The flashing lights of the energy shield and energy cannon flickered out completely in an instant. Without power, this dium-sized cha, which was the most dangerous to the Federation warriors, was nothing more than a heap of scrap tal.
Without the threat of [Royal Banner], the spirits of the five [Warrior Leaders] of the Federation lifted. The Fierce Tiger Special Soldiers were not ordinary combat units; every soldier was cherry-picked from thousands within the Leray Federation’s army. Each possessed unique skills and had undergone the most rigorous training, making them experts in their cha control with their individual special techniques.
Seeing experts join the fray, the three [Warrior Leaders] on counter-charge imdiately halted. In an instant, they made the correct judgnt and, together with the two [Warrior Leaders] behind them, ford a solid triangular defensive formation. They utilized the fierce firepower of their chas to suppress several flanking [Black Ard] units, creating space for the [Magic Beast] to maneuver freely like a tiger entering a flock of sheep.
"Not bad!" Fatty praised quietly. With a quick movent of his right hand, [Logic] flickered using the unpredictable Wave Riding Skill and appeared behind a [Black Ard] cha. With a backhand pull and hit, Tai Chi Power combined flexibility with rigidity, the two forces stacked, sending the [Black Ard] flying out to crash into another approaching [Black Ard], both rolling on the ground.
Fatty’s Wave Riding Skill was not the mysterious and vague Qinggong from ancient texts but a creation of Little Pi, combining the Eight Diagram Dragon Steps and Five Elents Plum Pile with the Swimming Fish Body Technique.
Through precise calculations, it allowed finding the blind spots in enemy movent and attacks in an instant during battle, preemptively occupying positions, and using attacks and maneuvers to continually create such moving angles. This pushed the instant movent of the cha in localized areas to the extre.
This new Wave Riding Skill was no less magical and unpredictable than described in martial arts novels. Fatty, always gifted in this elusive survival skill, found it intuitive to learn and at this mont, his advances and retreats were as swift as teors.
The few [Black Ard] chas closing in saw a fleeting shadow and instantly lost sight of the ghostly [Magic Beast]. They refocused only to see the [Magic Beast] wreaking havoc among the dense Imperial cha Group, leaving behind a trail of destruction. The two [Black Ard] units on the ground had already turned into soaring fireballs.
No one could catch the fleeting figure of this terrifying [Magic Beast]. All the cannon fire seed like fireflies dancing around the reaper for it, causing no harm at all. Its ghostly movents did not experience the slightest delay or hindrance!
In just a few minutes, one [Royal Banner] dium-sized cha and eight [Black Ard] Single Soldier chas were destroyed without resistance. This fact struck fear into all the Desic cha Soldiers. Whenever they saw the [Magic Beast] flash within the cha group, explosions of [Black Ard] followed, further demoralizing them.
"Retreat!" The major commander saw the five [Warrior Leaders] forming a defensive formation with increasing firepower, realizing it was futile to continue. He decisively ordered a retreat.
With the major commander’s insight, it was easy to discern the consequences if he didn’t retreat now. He understood he could personally defeat three [Black Ard] units driven by ordinary soldiers, but even ten of him wouldn’t be a match for that [Magic Beast]. The movents of this cha reminded him of a top expert from the annual cha competition in the Desic Empire.
Such a person was beyond the capability of the remaining dozen ordinary [Black Ard]. Additionally, with five Leray Fierce Tiger Special Soldiers nearby and the loss of [Royal Banner]’s suppressive firepower, these tigers could show their ferocious claws at any mont.
What truly decided the major commander’s retreat was the ruthless, unscrupulous tactics of the dilapidated [Magic Beast]. It was terrifying for a top expert to bully a group of little kids with underhanded tactics.
Almost simultaneously with the major commander’s retreat order, over ten [Black Ard] scattered, each choosing the nearest path to escape, desperately fleeing. This ghostly, terrifying [Magic Beast] had utterly erased their courage to attack.
Seeing the enemies scatter, Fatty couldn’t chase them all down. He only flipped the last two slower [Black Ard] and turned towards the Federation chas.
The five Fierce Tiger Special Soldiers stood dumbfounded, unable to find words to describe their feelings. It felt like a strange and wild dream; just as they were about to be annihilated, they suddenly walked back from the gates of hell.
And the one who saved them, destroying over twenty [Black Ard], was just a dilapidated [Magic Beast].
They were not unfamiliar with this [Magic Beast], having heard from comrades who participated in the rescue of Russell in the Low Ridge Jungle or seen recent live footage. More importantly, this [Magic Beast] was their mission target for this operation.
Yet, the Special Soldiers couldn’t control their shock upon witnessing the legendary [Magic Beast] cha appear before them and single-handedly defeat the enemy, saving them. Their astonishnt was beyond words.
"Fatty! Hey! Get out here, you idiot!"
Nia’s shout brought everyone back to their senses. Little Pi curiously asked Fatty, "Idiot? Is she your mother?"
