Soon, under the leadership of Tian Xingjian, the two cha regints of the bandit army advanced in a rapid march formation, swarming through the dense forest like migrating beasts, heading towards the location of the Freedom Front.

*******************************

At this mont, Oberto was completely desperate. Gazing at the over one thousand exhausted Freedom Fighters and the sprawling Imperial Armored Forces and Gazalin combined armored units swarming up the mountain, he knew that this might be his final battle!

This tall and sturdy man closed his bloodshot eyes in agony. The intense battle from ten hours ago seed to reappear before him. On that blood-red night, the Mythical Army and the Desic Empire’s armored forces suddenly launched a joint attack, completely destroying the ground resistance within ten minutes. The resistance in the underground base was piled up by human lives. Under the fierce bombardnt, and the unstoppable advance of the chas, human bodies were so fragile.

Songaila was dead, Yaric was dead too. They were killed by energy bullets while leading team after team to resist, becoming re shreds of flesh, not even a complete body to piece together. The entire resistance base was uprooted, and of the more than ten thousand Freedom Fighters, only less than two thousand managed to follow them here! If not for the desperate fight of the sole chanical Armor Battalion, escorting the remaining main force through the secret passage to escape, no one from the entire Freedom Front’s Base No.1 would have survived!

Oberto was not afraid of death. Since he joined the Freedom Front, he had considered his forr enslaved self already dead; he devoted everything to the resistance movent, including his own life! However, he was unwilling to fall just when the resistance movent was gaining montum!

And now, the Freedom Front seed to have reached the brink of extinction. Oberto knew that if the central command of the Freedom Front, including himself, was completely destroyed, the resistance organizations everywhere would lose unified coordination and beco scattered, like sparks that could no longer ignite being extinguished one by one in the cold wind.

"Report to the guide, the enemy is catching up again!" A Hurricane stopped in front of Oberto. The speaker was Jiasier, a Freedom Fighter who had followed Fatty from prison. Since he sent away Jas and Ann Lei, he stayed behind, vainly searching for Fatty’s whereabouts, ultimately to no avail.

"How many chas do you have left in your battalion?" Oberto’s voice was sowhat hoarse.

"Less than a hundred!" Jiasier gritted his teeth, "We can hold them off for a while longer, you take the main force and keep moving, we can’t stay here!"

"Move?" Oberto gave a bitter smile and waved his hand, "Have your chas participate in digging trenches, and gather all the portable missiles and anti-cha energy cannons." He sighed, looking at the distant mountains, "Since we can’t leave, we will die in battle. This is our best destiny!"

"But...!" Jiasier started to speak, then fell silent. He knew that the Freedom Fighters, who had been running in the mountains for over ten hours, had no chance of escaping anymore. Now, the only hope lay with those two cha regints of the Leray Federation, but that hope was thin; those regints were likely also being hunted.

Jiasier silently saluted and turned to carry out the orders.

With the help of the chas, rows of trenches quickly appeared on the solitary high ground. The exhausted Freedom Fighters lay in the trenches, too tired to even glance at the hundreds of enemies swarming up the mountain.

When death was finally imminent, these Freedom Fighters were unusually calm, as if they were just welcoming another day’s sunlight in the morning.

"Boom!" An artillery shell landed in front of the trenches, sending dirt flying high into the air; then it fell like hail, pitter-pattering down. The montary peace was shattered as the rged second regint of the Mythical Army and the third cha regint of the Desic 191st Division slowly surged toward the high ground like a black cloud, composed and vicious. Every cha warrior wore a hideous grin, confident that the trenches and bodies on the high ground would crumble like eggshells before their chas. They would be crushed to dust in despair!

As the commander, Osullivan had no interest in the high ground before him. Such a battle required no command. He rely sent a battalion of Vajras in coordination with a Desic cha battalion, attacking from both sides. In his view, it would not take more than ten minutes to flatten the so-called high ground under the assault of swarming chas.

At this mont, Osullivan’s eyes were only on Bonnie.

This woman remained as beautiful as ever, her red hair tied at the back with a ribbon. Her skin, tender and fair, could be blown and scratched. Her elegant swan-like neck and full, round bosom made every man who saw her lose himself in daydreams, longing to charge at her and ride her underneath, for their pleasure.

Osullivan swallowed hard. Facing this perfect woman, this was not the first ti he had such thoughts. Since he first saw Bonnie, he had dread of one day conquering the woman who shone most brightly in noble circles. He dread of one day stripping her like a lamb and then savagely entering her body, making her call his na in ecstasy.

But Osullivan understood that this woman belonged to Reinhardt. This lion could sacrifice the little wildcat, even devour her, but would never allow anyone else to touch her, not even think about it!

Osullivan forced himself to look away. He did not want Reinhardt to see the greed in his eyes for this woman when his ship landed.
