In this cramped area, over two thousand chas are packed together, almost leaving no space to even turn around! The Mythical Soldiers don’t even understand whether these Federation chas intend to split them apart or get split themselves by their own forces!
Soon, the Mythical Soldiers co to their senses. After the bandit army’s frantic overcrowding maneuver, they realize that all of their maneuvering and blocking space has been occupied. Each ti they turn, they face a group of organized rogue chas!
These dilapidated Leray chas are like a big rag, tightly entwining the Mythical Second Group. They operate in pairs — one harasses while the other sneaks an attack, striking quickly and fiercely, using underhanded moves, and daring to risk their lives at critical monts! This is typical of those who fear neither of losing face nor life!
Moreover, their insertion is very organized. No matter how scattered they appear, they consistently form a triangular attack formation with six groups, constantly moving and tearing apart the formation of the Mythical cha. This causes the Mythical Soldiers to completely lose the organization and coordination for which they are famous, forcing them to face the superior enemy alone in confusion and helplessness, being devoured bit by bit!
"Boom!"
As two monkey-like [Warrior Leaders] scatter, yet another [Vajra] falls. The massive body, losing balance, crashes to the ground, raising a cloud of dust.
Osullivan’s eyes twitch nervously; luck really wasn’t on his side today. He didn’t expect to run into two Leray Special cha Groups that were well aware of the modified [Vajra]’s flaws in zrich! And this battle happened while his troops were caught completely off guard! On the few square kiloters of the battlefield in front of him, over four hundred [Vajras] had already fallen to the ground without any damage. The First and Second Battalions, besieged, were still resisting, but their resistance grew weaker and weaker, as waves of Leray chas surged forward like tides, consuming the reefs that had broken into countless smaller pieces.
The First and Second Battalions are finished!
I’m finished too!
The sudden assault, the fatal flaw, the cut-off communications, all beca the factors that trapped the Mythical Second Group in a predicant. Had it not been for the critical mont when six Desic Fighters and five Gazalin fighters arrived on the battlefield providing air support, the Mythical Second Group would have already been in a full retreat!
"Charge! Charge through for !"
Not far in front of Osullivan, his direct guard company’s platoon leader was furiously yelling. This was already the third ti the Guard Company had been forced to retreat helplessly. Each ti they attempted to break through, it only resulted in a high number of casualties.
After finding the breakthrough attempts on the flanks hopeless, the Third and Fourth Battalions, under Osullivan’s command, quickly rged to try to open a passage behind the First and Second Battalions in one fell swoop. However, despite the arrival of over ten fighter jets to provide support, the Leray people persisted like a giant, resilient piece of toffee stuck stubbornly to the First and Second Battalions, not allowing even the slightest gap!
Osullivan sent out all the reserves at his disposal, even committing his direct Guard Company into the fight. Yet, they still couldn’t break through the Leray’s blockade. Not only that, but after launching three of the fiercest attacks, even the Guard Company was left with only sixty percent of their chas, with the rest stranded in the assault! The Third and Fourth Battalions suffered similarly heavy losses!
The Guard Company platoon leader, while shouting angrily, sneaked a glance at Osullivan. Although he knew such assaults were futile, he could only organize the warriors to continue with these futile efforts repeatedly, because he dared not face Osullivan, whose entire being exuded an aura of doom. He understood what such a disastrous defeat ant for Osullivan, and he had no doubt that before his death, Osullivan would take down the entire cha Group with him!
Osullivan stood woodenly in place, watching the battlefield, now a pot of mush due to the slaughter, his heart indulged in despair. Reinhardt was about to arrive here, while he was about to face the worst defeat the Mythical Army had suffered in fifty years! Losing two battalions at once! Adding the losses of other battalions, it would be sufficient for Reinhardt to tear him to pieces!
While the Mythical Army and the bandit army collided and slaughtered each other like a landslide and tsunami with thousands of chas, on the other end of the high ground, the Desic cha Group slowly contracted together, coiling like a threatened cobra, poised to strike with lightning speed at any mont!
Their subject of caution, naturally, was the several hundred Leray chas appearing under the red banner on the hills behind them!
When Dafu, the commander of the 191st Armored Division of the Desic Empire, saw the two hundred unknown chas appearing one by one beside the broken [Magic Beast], he felt as if his eyes were being scorched by the sun, stinging painfully!
He turned a blind eye to the Freedom Fighters fleeing sideways from the high ground; this had little to do with Desic. Almost the mont the Leray people appeared, he made a decision: his task was to tie up this Leray force and wait for reinforcents! This Leray cha force, waving the bandit army’s banner and coming to the doorstep, was a thorn in the side of the Desic Empire!
He knew the Mythical Army was embroiled in a bitter battle, and he also knew that if he could have his cha Group reinforce the Mythical Army’s flank, it might be possible to turn the tide.
