"You shouldn’t be alive, Bonnie." Reinhardt spoke softly, his voice gentle and magnetic, like a poet lost in a beautiful scene, whispering to himself about how breathtaking the view before him was.
Words spoken in such a voice gave everyone a spine-chilling feeling.
"You are such a beautiful and proud woman, there is no one in this world who deserves you!" Reinhardt murmured. "I once thought I would be that person, but..." His voice turned grim, "I am just a bastard, the product of a promiscuous woman and a drunken man!"
Fatty and Osullivan shivered simultaneously. They understood that proud as Reinhardt was, if he uttered such words in their presence, he absolutely wouldn’t let them leave alive! Perhaps, in his eyes, they were already dead.
"So, I am not worthy of you. No man in this world is worthy of you. When I finally fell into the abyss of hell, you should have died in your purest and most beautiful state." Reinhardt’s voice was filled with disappointnt, "But alas, you did not..."
[Apollo] turned its head towards the foolhardy and ragged [Magic Beast] beside it, its pale blue electronic eyes seemingly piercing through Fatty’s soul. Reinhardt’s voice was so calm and unhurried, exuding a faint elegance and superiority, "What amazes more is that you are actually with this dirty and despicable Fatty, tarnishing your purity and wisdom!"
Fatty let out a long sigh. Since it was already a life-and-death situation, the thought of fighting to the death filled his mind completely.
To hell with it! The ragged [Magic Beast] looked at [Apollo] disdainfully, flipped out a middle finger, and Fatty’s voice echoed through the loudspeaker, "Pah! Idiot!"
In the silence, those two words were like a loud slap, harshly striking Reinhardt’s face!
Bonnie, who had been holding back her tears, suddenly wanted to laugh.
She suddenly realized that Reinhardt’s so-called elegance and wisdom, along with all his statents, seed so ridiculous in the face of those two words.
Just as she was about to burst into laughter, Reinhardt, in a fit of rage, finally made his move!
[Apollo]’s energy cannon flashed a bright red light, aiming at Bonnie, who hadn’t had ti to activate her cha!
Reinhardt was now a Level 9 cha Warrior.
Eliminating the easiest target first to avoid being attacked from both sides was a standard procedure in cha combat manuals! Even if the target was Bonnie, Reinhardt wouldn’t hesitate!
"Boom!"
In the nick of ti, the broad silhouette of the ragged [Magic Beast] firmly blocked the path of this death beam, its energy shield turning a pale red in an instant! The explosion of the energy bullet sent Osullivan flying far away.
"Activate your cha!" Fatty shouted wildly at Bonnie, then lunged toward [Apollo]. He had to entangle Reinhardt; otherwise, Bonnie was dood.
As the ragged [Magic Beast] charged toward him like a shooting arrow, Reinhardt’s eyes flashed with a cold glint. The sight of Bonnie collaborating with another man against him drove him mad. [Apollo] stood still, as if the approaching cha was rely a breeze.
"Boom!" The vicious iron fist of the ragged [Magic Beast] struck the ground, creating a large crater with dirt flying everywhere. A mont ago, [Apollo] had been there but now had suddenly vanished!
"Not good!" Fatty abruptly yanked the control lever, causing the cha to push off the ground and flip back 180 degrees, recoiling backward! In the instant his punch missed, he glimpsed [Apollo]’s assault move out of the corner of his eye—it was a zigzag advance.
By shifting any point between the start and end of a straight-line advance left or right to dodge enemies or long-range attacks, this was a zigzag advance. It was an advanced maneuver in cha control.
Zigzag advance wasn’t simply a secondary advance after dodging. This move only initiated once, relying on imnse explosive power at the start. When the cha reached the second point and turned, it didn’t depend on the legs’ thrust but on the pre-set eccentric force, forcibly changing direction at high speed.
Like a soccer ball suddenly struck by another ball in mid-flight, the cha’s progress would shift between a ninety to one hundred eighty-degree angle. The advantage of this thod was its speed, far surpassing the dodge-turn advance that required a secondary ground push.
At this mont, the intention of [Apollo]’s zigzag advance was obvious, even Fatty’s backside could figure it out—the target was still Bonnie!
To strike such a blow against a childhood sweetheart, this left Fatty with extre contempt. Could it be that in this person’s heart, everything was asured by profit?
[Apollo] was too fast; its launch was nearly two seconds quicker than the ragged [Magic Beast]!
In a high-speed cha advance, two seconds were enough to decide life or death. Before his eyes, [Apollo] was already darting toward [Vajra], and [Vajra] had just closed its cockpit, switching to combat mode.
Tian Xingjian roared wildly. He would not allow this woman, hard by him, to be hurt again in his presence! With both hands releasing the "Wave Riding Skill" control program like a waterfall, [Logic], flying backward, lightly tapped the ground with its right hand, and the auxiliary thruster propelled the cha into the air like a bird gliding lightly towards [Apollo].
No one believed that the ragged [Magic Beast] could catch up with [Apollo] with a one-second lead! Reinhardt didn’t believe it, and Bonnie didn’t believe it, so much so that she closed her eyes, resigned to her fate!
[Vajra] enlarged rapidly before her eyes, and suddenly, [Apollo] felt a tightness around its legs, and the cha plunging toward [Vajra] was dragged down mid-flight.
[Vajra]’s hydraulic system fully extended. Amid the engine’s high-speed roaring, Bonnie instinctively pulled the control lever, and the cha stepped back two paces abruptly.
[Apollo]’s iron fist narrowly missed [Vajra]’s chest, smashing into the ground, dirt flying in the searchlight’s beam.
"So fast!"
Osullivan, with internal injuries from the explosion and a broken leg, montarily forgot about fleeing and his pain; he stared in stunned silence at the ragged [Magic Beast], his mind endlessly replaying its bird-like agility.
What kind of control technique was that? Why did this [Magic Beast] seem to break free from the constraints of ti and space, appearing behind [Apollo] in a seemingly impossible situation?
Nobody understood what had just happened!
"Boom!"
[Magic Beast] was swept away by [Apollo]’s backwards kick, flying far like a kite with a broken string, landing on the ground, and skidding a long distance.
