After inventorying the warehouse, Audrey sat down wearily in the chair, gently rubbing her slender and well-proportioned calves.
The soreness in her calves made Audrey furrow her brows slightly. Biting her rosy lips, she felt a bit annoyed with herself and wondered what had possessed her to follow that Fatty and ss around in this desolate pirate base.
The Audrey had been docked at the port for a long ti. The crew had already integrated into the lifestyle of this new group. The days of smuggling seed so distant from her current self. Unbeknownst to her, she had transford from a female captain freely cruising through the universe with her crew into a logistics officer silently managing the pirate base's supplies.
After feeling annoyed for a while, Audrey looked up at the neatly organized warehouse and couldn't help but smile. She wasn't sure how much her work helped that person. She only knew that every ti she dropped a list in front of him for his signature, she felt an inexplicable pleasure.
Especially whenever that Fatty secretly peeked at her, it made her both flustered and a little bit proud and expectant. She wasn't sure if she anticipated approval of her work or affirmation of her beauty.
In any case, that lecherous Fatty was not a good person!
She had been forcibly imprisoned here by him!
Every ti she told herself that in her heart, Audrey could comfortably continue to stay at the base and ticulously manage all aspects of the base's logistics.
This kind of life was actually not so bad.
Feeling uplifted, Audrey humd a tune as she filled in the last data on the list.
She stood up, opened the wardrobe, and habitually began picking out clothes. She didn't seem to realize that every ti she had an excuse to see Fatty, her mood was always very good, and she spent a particularly long ti choosing clothes and dressing up.
Audrey's exclusive office and quarters were located at the very end of the third reserve warehouse. Since this warehouse stored newly developed and designed parts and equipnt from the manufacturing departnt, no one was allowed to enter without special permission.
There were four sentry posts set up in the long corridor at the entrance of the warehouse. Fatty personally established the managent and security systems for the entire warehouse.
According to Fatty, every item in this warehouse was top secret. However, Audrey didn't see what was so special about these items. They were just a bunch of random parts and equipnt. Besides those crazy chanics and engineers who were obsessed with these things, taking them out would just make them a pile of scrap to be dealt with as junk.
These things were all scavenged from the pirate base's warehouse by Fatty.
Minerals, parts, and a bunch of broken cha and weapons. Just counting these items had exhausted Audrey to death. She didn't know where Fatty got the energy to dig out these things bit by bit and tinker with them like treasures with the chanics all day long.
However, it was these scraps that Fatty sohow assembled into a fleet.
Besides that strange warship that took the longest ti to build and consud the most resources, three ard rchant ships were also refitted. The armor on the hull was thickened, the structure reinforced, and the engines and thrusters were dismantled and rebuilt. Furthermore, the weapon systems and electronic systems were upgraded. From Audrey's perspective, these ard rchant ships could no longer be called rchant ships.
Heavy moveable armor on the front, rear, and wings, concealed turrets, and massive thrusters. No matter how you looked at it, these were war monsters. Fatty's modifications were not designed to look good but purely for practicality. And there were five raider ships, all refitted into the sa tattered state.
Seeing such a fleet in space, one might think it ca from sowhere in distress. Only when their armor sealed up and the cannons were revealed would one know how terrifying these seemingly non-threatening ships were.
These ships might not compare to regular military fleets, but compared to the ard rchant ships of other pirates, they were much stronger.
Every ti Audrey compared her smuggling ship to these refitted warships, imagining encountering pirates driving them in space, she would always shudder. Not to ntion anything else, just the electronic interference system assembled by Fatty was enough to crash the Audrey's computer systems.
From such a poverty-stricken pirate base, with a few broken ships and several warehouse loads of junk, Fatty had managed to gather people together and passionately tinker to bring things to this state. To be honest, even the most unruly people on the base had completely submitted.
Anyone seasoned in interstellar life could tell if these things were good or bad. More impressively, originally disparate groups had now united their spirits. With these warships and the challenging training exercises and simulated battles over these days, nobody even looked at common pirates anymore.
As everyone said, "This is what you call professionalism."
The battle coordination of the ships had long been completed. Each ship was also equipped with two Space cha. Now, they were just waiting to open for business. The pirates and warriors were all very excited every day, even eating while holding their bowls and squatting in the dock to watch their warships.
In their conversations, they envisioned all sorts of scenarios: "Hey, when I press that button and the armor clangs shut, those Demon's Eye bastards will be stunned. Without an Energy Cannon of at least 100mm, dreaming of breaking our ship's defenses is just that, a dream."
