Kodell knew that to control Puluo Town, he had to remove the enemy's base! Completely destroy the Tai Sect Puluo Branch. That place was the root of these Black chas, and also their Achilles' heel! Everything they were doing now was to drag his forces into a mobile warfare scenario, relying on electronic suppression and the superior chanical Knight levels of their chas to cut his forces apart and replicate their attack on the 3rd Battalion.
Kodell would never let them succeed. Even though his troops had suffered so losses from the enemy's constant ambushes, he did not order a split pursuit. Under his command, the two advancing formations beca more stable. Over eight hundred chas ford two mutually responsive steel torrents, advancing like bulldozers, crushing everything in their path.
And the company previously allocated to the First Battalion was now coming into play!
The First Company, having maneuvered to the western outskirts of Puluo Town, launched a tentative attack on the enemy's defensive zones along Puluo First Avenue from the west to the east, causing a noticeable reduction in the enemy's harassnt of the main force.
The information relayed back from the First Company indicated that the enemy, already stretched thin, was forced to split their forces to intercept. anwhile, the personnel left behind at the Tai Sect cha Hall started gathering chas and heavy trucks in preparation to escape.
Watching the distant Black chas constantly launching attacks, Kodell coldly smiled and ordered, "Order the First Company's company to increase the intensity of the attack imdiately. Be sure to hold back the enemy and block their escape route to the west until the main force arrives. Order the Second Battalion and the First Battalion to ignore the enemy's harassnt and speed up their advance. Within an hour, I want to stand on Puluo First Avenue!"
The enemy's electronic suppression continued. After receiving the orders, liaison chas quickly detached from the group, maneuvering along the direction of the First Battalion to the west of Puluo Town to relay the commands.
Kodell was right; it wasn't long before the Black chas clearly began to show signs of agitation.
As the First Armored Assault Group advanced faster and got closer to Puluo First Avenue, the enemy's blocking efforts intensified. Several tis they attempted to collectively charge the middle of the Second Battalion's formation, trying to split it apart or even launch a decapitation strike against Kodell's assault company.
However, all these efforts were crushed under the overwhelming force of the tightly packed Assault Group One.
No matter how long or difficult the road, it always cos to an end.
When the First Company of the First Battalion reported that they had established a blockade position west of Puluo First Avenue, firmly stopping the enemy's nurous Private chas and heavy trucks from breaking through, Kodell's Second Battalion and the simultaneously advancing First Battalion finally t up within three kiloters of the Puluo First Avenue intersection!
Zhang Kai continued his filming. But due to the change in direction, he had switched to a different room facing another way.
Not just him, everyone in the building had gathered at the windows facing this direction, quietly watching Puluo First Avenue.
Many people's eyes were already filled with tears.
This ti, there were more Red chas, and they were stronger. They had already crossed the Echo Street line. Yet, no civilians were massacred—under the relentless resistance and harassnt by the Black chas, these red demons had no chance to plunder and ravage.
All the battles had been initiated by the Black chas. They didn't give the Red chas any respite, always persistently trying to block their steps or steer them off course.
From above, the Red chas looked like clusters of moving flas, while the Black chas were like moths drawn to the fire.
The vast nurical disparity rendered all the efforts of the Black chas futile.
They had done their best!
This was the consistent evaluation of those who had witnessed the entire battle process.
No matter the outco, people believed that these cha Warriors, who had always stood in front of them attempting to block the enemy, were true soldiers! They were the soldiers of Puluo Town, a type that had never existed in this world before!
This blood-deep connection with the Black chas made people feel both fervently patriotic and heart-wrenchingly pained.
Everyone quietly watched, watching the thin line of Black chas being gradually pressed by the two advancing red groups, watching the distance between the two sides slowly close.
East of the First Avenue intersection was a three-kiloter stretch of empty street, and beyond that, hundreds of Red chas densely occupied the streets, the central square, and the urban forest.
These chas, with their tall tallic bodies, had different yellow numbers painted on them. The chas' angular lines and the cold mixed cannon barrels highlighted their hardness and strength.
They were of varying ages, with different types of pieced-on armor and other details. So had a cylindrical appendage on their shoulders or a square honeycomb-shaped radar on their heads, while others had an additional machine gun mounted on their arms or welded tal fras. But their color was all the sa. It was a glaring blood red.
The scorching sunlight shone onto these nearly six-ter-tall steel giants, scattering into fragnted light spots. The shadows of the chas seed even colder and more nacing under the sunlight!
Next to these cold steel monsters was a scene of devastation. Cracked, charred streets, smoking ruins, fallen sculptures in the central square fountain, water streaming from the broken edges, and the urban forest with trees crushed or knocked down.
