"Feiler, Master Fatty is here!"
Amidst this earth-shattering roar, the entire Northern Alliance Base was thrown into complete chaos.
The outer wall of the base, eight ters tall and two ters thick, reinforced with two layers of bulletproof walls, had collapsed over a long section. On the piled bricks, the open space before and behind the wall, and on nearby buildings, explosions were flashing in patches, with flying dust and smoke sending debris and broken bricks in all directions.
Five or six Northern Alliance chas had turned into burning wreckage, scattered around the breach in the outer wall. Inside the base, Northern Alliance soldiers hid behind various covers, desperately firing at a few Green chas charging recklessly toward the breach. The soldiers retreating from the gates and periter scampered away with their heads covered under the energy machine gun bullet chains of the Green chas, attempting to dash across the wide and dangerous open ground inside the base.
Fatty's right hand was flying over the virtual keyboard, while his left hand pushed the universal control stick to the third gear, fourth level, tightly gripping the energy cannon trigger.
The green No. 01 [Ranger] led the charge into the base, like a fat bird drawing a beautiful, dazzling arc across the sky. The ch's engine emitted an ear-piercing roar, the body shaking violently in the fierce dash. The bullet chains of the energy machine gun swung in front of him like two long whips.
A defense made of sandbags and isolation nets exploded and jumped under the bullet chains, and the Northern Alliance soldiers behind the cover didn't have ti to react before turning into torn flesh. Heads, bodies, limbs, whatever was hit by the 80mm caliber energy machine gun bullets would blossom into a flower of blood, becoming a mist of blood under the lights.
This terrifying scene made all the Northern Alliance soldiers behind similar nearby covers lose their nerve. At the first mont their unfortunate companions were hit, they left those paper-thin fragile covers, stumbling towards nearby building corners or deeper into the base, trying to find a safe cover. However, in a base without fixed energy shields and many chas for protection, no cover could resist such an attack.
Another nine Green chas followed behind Fatty, racing through the base at high speed, charging recklessly. As the chas advanced, each cha's two bullet chains continuously changed direction and angle, coordinating with each other. The team's firepower swept all resistance along the way like an octopus. Although the other warriors didn't have Fatty's precision in fire control, it was terrifying enough for those poor Northern Alliance infantryn.
Row after row of piled-up defenses were blown up, while barracks, watchtowers, and warehouses were destroyed one after another.
Issues that the 80mm energy machine gun couldn't solve, a few 260mm caliber energy bullets could take care of.
This was the Northern Alliance's most important base, garrisoned by its elite troops. In the face of these speedy Green monsters, Northern Alliance soldiers had done everything to resist, using every available weapon, but they still couldn't stop the Bandit Army cha Team's assault.
In just a few short minutes, Northern Alliance soldiers lost all defensive fortifications near the outer wall, forced to retreat to the area around the base's chanical Training Ground, relying on the outskirts' buildings and the uneven hills inside the training ground to make a stand.
At this mont, the base's garrison troops finally fully mobilized, and a whole regint of infantry was driven out from various areas of the base, gathering gradually at the front of the Bandit Army Team's attack route. Various types of anti-chanical weapons were also brought up. However, this still couldn't stop the Bandit Army chas' advance.
This was a one-sided slaughter; for the Northern Alliance soldiers, these ten Green chas were invincible.
Unlike any chas they had seen before, these ten chas were basically Devils. Constantly moving at high speed and changing direction, they could freely roam within a dense firepower net. Ordinary firearms were ineffective against them, and anti-cha missiles and portable energy cannons failed to hit them!
Moreover, even hitting one wouldn't solve the problem.
Seeing a Bandit Army cha's energy shield finally turn red only to watch it revert to that ghostly blue under the cover of teammates made Northern Alliance soldiers nearly lose their will to resist. With companions falling one by one and the opponent unscathed, this disparity drove everyone mad.
So when they saw their armored units arrive, every Northern Alliance soldier had the sa thought flash through their mind, thank heavens!
What arrived weren't the worthless chas from the infantry corps. That squad of chas had already been taken out by the Bandit Army cha Team at the base's periter. Although in the Central City, there were still three armored camps from the two Infantry Divisions left, they were stationed on various defense lines around the base. The Bandit Team must have passed through their deploynt area to reach the base. Yet even now, not one alarm had been raised. By the ti those failures arrived, they would likely only be there to collect bodies.
What faced the bandits was the Guard Armor Company of the Northern Alliance Command Center! These hundred chas were Selwal's direct Guard Company, and only the most loyal and outstanding chanical Warriors could hope to beco a mber of this company.
