On the other hand, it looked more like those chasing after him were more annoyed than anything else. Not showing the slightest bit of fear in the face of a Soul Ascension Realm demon beast, sothing that Chu Yang could not help finding incredibly baffling, as he full well understood that there was no one present among the Domain Lord Realm cultivators chasing after him who were capable of fighting the Soul Ascension Realm demon beast and guardian of the source crystal.
Even working together, it would be impossible to deal with this Soul Ascension Realm demon beast, as the gap between the Soul Ascension Realm and the Domain Lord Realm wasn't sothing simple to cross. Especially so considering that the Soul Ascension Realm demon beast didn't seem to just be at the First Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm, but instead seed to have already broken through to the Second Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm. Making it even more impossible for soone in the Domain Lord Realm to face off against it.

Filled with bewildernt as he watched the terrifying snake demon beast crash through countless ruins as it landed in the ruins at the base of the mountain before it began rapidly moving towards him at a speed far surpassing that of any of the Domain Lord Realm cultivators chasing after him, Chu Yang could not help thinking that there was sothing that these Domain Lord Realm cultivators were aware of that he wasn't, sothing that made them confident that the guardian of the source crystal wouldn't harm them.

Unaware of what to do as he watched the guardian of the source crystal close the distance between them in a matter of seconds, Chu Yang could only draw out one of his master's lifesaving talismans in preparation for using it against the guardian of the source crystal.
Although he was reluctant to use one of only three remaining talismans considering that he had just stepped inside the secret realm and had no idea what kind of dangers awaited him inside the secret realm and the fact that he would need at least one to save himself after leaving the secret realm, Chu Yang also understood that there was no way for him to give up sothing as precious as a source crystal.
Even if it did an he would only be left with two of his master's talismans, he would just quietly cultivate for the next half year and wait until he could leave the secret realm.
The source crystal was more than worth it, even if he had to give up on other opportunities inside of the secret realm.
Of course, he didn't entirely have to give up on the opportunities inside of the secret realm and could still try and go for the safer places that didn't involve anywhere near the sa danger as what he was currently facing while exploring a previously unexplored part of the secret realm.
Though the treasures and opportunities wouldn't be able to compare to what he could get from exploring the new territory of the secret realm, it was still incredibly precious when compared to anything he could get from exploring and adventuring outside of the secret realm.

With that in mind, Chu Yang didn't hesitate as he decisively threw out the talisman given by his master. Not having ti to investigate the reason behind why the rest of the Domain Lord Realm cultivators weren't afraid of the source crystal's guardian…

Completely unaffected by the twisting space that made it impossible for the rest of the Domain Lord Realm cultivators to move or escape like he had done.

Not affected by the escape of the single Domain Lord Realm cultivator, the talisman paper seed to find its target, as the terrifying pressure focused onto the Soul Ascension Realm demon beast. Giving the Domain Lord Realm cultivators who had been chasing after Chu Yang a chance to move again-

Unfortunately, even if they had regained their ability to move again, it was useless, as the talisman paper ignited the mont it had found its target. Wiping out anything that stood in its path before arriving directly in front of the Soul Ascension Realm demon beast and guardian of the source crystal, who had not been able to move a single muscle ever since the talisman was activated.
In the next second, the terrifying sword that had manifested and what could be considered a serious attack from a Late Stage Dao Domain Lord Realm cultivator hit its target. Almost instantaneously erasing the poor guardian of the source crystal from existence-

In response, a terrifying roar erged from the interior of the towering mountain followed by a terrifying aura erupting in an attempt to resist the sword-

Unfortunately, it only managed to resist for a little over a second before it was similarly cut through. Allowing the sword strike to directly crash into the towering mountain-

And with the last remaining bit of power inside the sword strike, it cleanly cut the towering mountain in half, while leaving behind a terrifying scar stretching for more than a hundred thousand ters across the forrly empty grass plains.
The terrifying energy of the attack that had taken place still lingering. Impossible to erase with ordinary ans.
"I… I just wanted to deal with the guardian of the source crystal and those Domain Lord Realm cultivators…"
