Pondering over how a demonic cultivator who had already gone through the demonic transformation could go back to being a cultivator in the Dao Seed Realm or below, it did not take long before he focused on the fundantal difference between demonic cultivators and normal cultivators… And that was the fact that demonic cultivators more so focused on strengthening their bodies over comprehending a Dao so to speak.
Although demonic cultivators did comprehend different Daos, they were mostly limited to ones related to death and slaughter. Even then, those who actually comprehended a Dao were limited to the strongest among the demonic cultivators, with even them being limited to the Small Success Realm in whatever Dao they comprehended.
The only place where this didn't seem to be the place would be after the demonic cultivators broke through to the Demon King Realm, as the Demon Kings he had encountered so far all seed to have a high comprehension of the Daos outside of those related to slaughter and death. Especially so when it ca to demonic cultivator at the Demon King Realm that he had encountered at the Space Node Mine, who even seed to have an artifact capable of restraining the Dao of Space on him.
Even if it was clear that so kind of fundantal change took place when a demonic cultivator broke through to the Demon King Realm that made them start trying to comprehend the Dao more seriously over just entirely focusing on strengthening their bodies through any ans possible, it was still clear that they should still be worse off compared to soone in the Celestial Immortal Realm when it ca to comprehending the Dao.
"Maybe a technique that makes use of the already strong physical body?" Muttering this to himself as he dwelled into what little information he had about the demonic cultivation path, Xuan Hao ultimately ended up giving up on trying to figure out a way to change demonic cultivators back from their path and onto the path towards the Celestial Immortal and Profound Immortal Realm.
At the mont, even if he wanted to try and do sothing like that, his understanding of the demonic cultivation path was simply far too shallow.
Not to ntion, his own ability to create a cultivation technique that allowed for this kind of change was nonexistent, as he had never created sothing like that before.
For now, it might be better for him to just focus on increasing his own strength, when he reached the Profound Immortal Realm in the future, he could always revisit this problem.
The only downside to that was that he wouldn't be able to take advantage of demonic cultivators like Xuan Gui to bolster the stronger cultivators of the sect and more quickly complete the main sect quest.
Instead of that, it looked like the only way he had available to him when it ca to progressing the main sect quest would be to go out and search for independent Soul Ascension and Dao Seed Realm cultivators and get them to join the sect.
Although this might not be that difficult considering the current reputation of the Star Shattering Sect as an ancient hidden sect and the fact that the chaos caused by demonic cultivators across the continent caused most independent and wandering cultivators to want a place to be safe when the larger battle between the major powers at the core of the continent and the demonic cultivators began.
In a sense, the Star Shattering Sect could be said to be a far more attractive option for most independent and wandering cultivators, as it was ultimately a neutral power in the struggle between the major powers in the core region and the demonic cultivators.
The only problem was that the current Star Shattering Sect couldn't start publicly accepting a large number of Soul Ascension Realm and Dao Seed Realm cultivators, as that would almost certainly end up drawing unwanted attention.
Instead, it had to be done more discreetly, similar to have Pei Yang had been accepted and beco an elder of the sect without the Blue Sea Empire having any idea about this and still busy searching for him inside their own borders.
Unfortunately, in the current Star Shattering Sect, he was the only person who would have the strength to attract stronger cultivators to join the sect, as Pei Yang was currently not capable of leaving the sect without being caught by the Blue Sea Empire, while anyone else inside the sect were too weak to convince soone at the Soul Ascension Realm or Dao Seed Realm to join the sect.
Maybe Yi Min did have the ability to convince soone in the Soul Ascension Realm to join the sect and maybe he might be able to use his two demon beasts after they broke through to the Dao Seed Realm, but in the end, the most reliable person for recruiting more people to join the sect would be himself.
Doing so would undoubtedly be good for the sect, but at the sa ti, it would also end up cutting into his cultivation ti. Leaving him with little ti to increase his strength, as he would be busy running around the continent looking for suitable candidates to enter the sect.
"Wait until I reach the Perfection Realm in the Dao of Space. After that I will leave the sect to go and look for wandering cultivators without any prior alignnt to the different major powers to join the sect." Muttering this to himself as he thought about the entire situation, Xuan Hao ended up deciding to wait until he finished breaking through to the Perfection Realm in the Dao of Space first.
Not only because it would increase his strength to a completely different level compared to now, but more so because it would make him pretty much impossible to catch even for soone in the Celestial Immortal Realm, while also giving him the ability to traverse the continent at a far greater speed.
At the sa ti, it would also give him sothing to rely on in case the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator that Chu Yang seed to have unknowingly offended ended up coming to the sect to cause trouble.
Talking about this disciple of his who had decided to revive a long dead part of the system, Xuan Hao could not help wondering what he was up to and what kind of mysterious opportunity he had ended up receiving as a reward for killing the younger master.
After all, he could clearly sense that he had been moving back in the direction of the sect for the past few months only to have co to a sudden stop around the borders of the fallen Sky Empire. Making him guess that the mysterious opportunity he had received should be in that border area.
Not just that but given that it had been able to keep him occupied for close to a month at this point in ti, it was clear that this opportunity was far from simple.
Given that Chu Yang was already at the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, he did feel a bit worried that this opportunity would end up forcing him to beco a Soul Ascension Realm cultivator. Not that the path in itself was bad, as one could still beco a Profound Immortal Realm cultivator following that traditional path, but more so because his disciple wouldn't be able to take advantage of the benefits brought from reaching the Dao Domain Lord Realm.
At the very least, even though he hadn't taught his disciple much about the Dao Domain Lord Realm at the mont, he had at least taught them the basics about the realm and Chu Yang should be able to enter the Dao Domain Lord Realm on his own without his guidance if needed. Only, he had no idea if that would be the sa path as the one, he went down involving comprehending several different Daos or if it would be the path focusing on a singular Dao.
Originally, he had planned to guide his disciples into choosing the path most fitting for them when they reached the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, be it the Soul Ascension Realm or one of the two paths of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.
But now that might not be possible with Chu Yang depending on what kind of mysterious opportunity, he ended up obtaining-
"Hm? Looks like he really did end up breaking through…"
And just as he was thinking about Chu Yang, he noticed a change taking place in his status displayed by the system, as his realm changed from the Domain Lord Realm to the Dao Domain Lord Realm, but more importantly than that, Xuan Hao clearly noticed a small note at the end of his realm. Indicating that he had taken a different path than his master when it ca to the Dao Domain Lord Realm.
All the while ignoring the notifications that ca a few seconds later following his disciple's breakthrough…
