Wasting no ti stepping forward to ask the two people in the Domain Lord Realm casually chatting with each other in front of the path leading up the Ninth Star Peak about entering the sect, it did not take long before the now eager Soul Ascension Realm cultivator found himself waiting at a small outdoors pavilion built a few hundred ters up the side of the mountain. Giving him a chance to personally experience the rich spiritual qi without stepping inside the sect itself, sothing that was nothing short of addicting considering that he knew just how useful this was for cultivation.
Outside of that, he also took the opportunity to observe the people entering and leaving the Star Shattering Sect through a far larger teleportation formation than the one he had used to travel from the Iron Sky Kingdom to the Falling Star City.
From a quick glance, it was obvious to him that the people entering and leaving the sect were all from the younger generation. Most of them, even those in the Domain Lord Realm being at most a few hundred years old.
As for those above the Domain Lord Realm, he didn't see anyone, though it was not hard to guess that this should just be because they were considered the senior generation and would likely have their full attention focused on their cultivation and trying to breakthrough to a higher realm.
Even then, he still felt that it was amazing for soone in the Domain Lord Realm to be considered a part of the younger generation, as he had not seen sothing like that before. Normally, Domain Lord Realm cultivators would oversee a certain territory of the sect or empire he or she belonged to. Not able to focus their full attention on cultivation as freely as the ones that were part of the Star Shattering Sect.
Given that most of them seed to be referred to as elders even though it was rather clear to him that they were not given their young age, he guessed that they should have been deed as prospective elders by the older generation of the sect and thus given the title and so responsibilities to prepare them for their future role as elders, sothing that he personally found admirable and an overall positive thing when it ca to the overall stability and growth of the sect.
After all, he was aware of just how unstable a power could beco if they were imdiately put into a high position that required a certain degree of knowhow.
But… If soone in the Domain Lord Realm is still considered part of the younger generation of the sect, just how strong is the senior generation of the sect? Is there perhaps soone above the Celestial Immortal Realm? Is this perhaps the reason why even major powers like the Crimson Dragon Empire tends to fear these ancient hidden sects that have existed for countless years…?
Feeling his thoughts starting to wander as he gazed towards the stream of disciples and elders moving in and out of the Shattered Star Peaks, the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator who had originally thought of himself as soone rather knowledgeable could not help wondering to himself about realms above the Celestial Immortal Realm.
Although he had managed to hear so rumors here and there about there being realms above the Celestial Immortal Realm, he had never really managed to learn much more about what ca after the Celestial Immortal Realm during his long years travelling the continent on his own as a wandering cultivator.
However, now that he was about to beco a mber of an ancient hidden sect that should have existed for who knows how long, he once again felt his curiosity towards what lay beyond starting to grow again.
For the first ti in a long ti, he would have the opportunity to explore the unknown that had been out of reach so far, sothing that had originally been the driving force behind his first steps as a cultivator.
"Excuse , are you the one asking to enter the sect?" As he was sowhat lost in his own thoughts watching the steam of people coming and going, an older voice suddenly echoed out behind him. "Hm? Ah, yes, that is ." Causing him to turn around with a sowhat startled look on his face before quickly calming down and responding.
After turning around and seeing the other party along with what he had just said, it was not difficult for him to guess that he should be the person who would be testing him before he could officially enter the Star Shattering Sect.
The only problem was that when he quickly glanced over the other party's cultivation, thinking that he would have to prove his strength through a battle, he quickly discovered that the old man was only in the Nascent Soul Realm.
Battle? He might accidentally kill the other party if he ended up releasing his domain…
So… The second test won't be based on strength but sothing else…
Narrowing both of his eyes as he put two and two together and realized that the second test was not a battle to prove his strength like he had first expected, he couldn't help feeling a bit nervous when faced with an unknown test.
Even if the person standing in front of him was far weaker than himself, he could not help feeling himself trembling ever so slightly in his presence upon coming to the realization that the person in front of him would likely determine whether he could beco a part of the Star Shattering Sect or not.
Maybe my behavior when faced with soone of a lower cultivation base is also part of the test… I heard that so sects or empires do tests like that to avoid anyone disregarding others for their low cultivation realm and potential creating a problem if faced with soone capable of hiding their true cultivation realm- Wait! Perhaps this old man isn't soone in the Nascent Soul Realm, but an elder of the sect secretly hiding his cultivation realm to test !
Feeling a shiver run down his spine upon realizing that the person in front of him might very well be an elder of similar strength to the one that recruited him back in the Dragon Tooth Mountain City, the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator could not stop himself from trembling slightly before calming down again the next second. Understanding that it would be best for him to get used to eting cultivators far more powerful than himself if he wanted to beco a part of an ancient hidden sect himself.

"Good, it seems like you have cald down… Now, let's have a little chat."
Seeing the trembling and sowhat fearful expression on the face of the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator that had just arrived a short ti after he had finished a short conversation with Xuan Hao about how to handle these future elders of the sect, Elder Song could not help silently chuckling to himself as he did his best to calm down the other party.
Not long after, he also joined this potential new elder and sat down at the small pavilion before starting a conversation with the other party.
His intention being to learn about the other party and determine his overall personality and whether it would be fitting for him to enter the Star Shattering Sect or if it would end up causing potential problems for the sect down the line.
Although he was confident in the elders that Xuan Hao had chosen for the sect, it was always better for another person to also look through them to make sure there weren't any mistakes.
Not to ntion, Elder Song felt that he was by far one of the best people in the sect when it ca to reading others, sothing that had been honed over his many years of managing not just the Star Shattering Sect but also the Flying Sword Sect before that. Getting to know countless different people and knowing the good from the bad and who should not be accepted into the sect.
In the end, the conversation between Elder Song and the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator who wanted nothing more than to beco a mber of the Star Shattering Sect and didn't have any hidden agendas, ca to a peaceful end with Elder Song happily welcoming the other party into the Star Shattering Sect before following him up the Ninth Star Peak before starting to give him a general introduction of the sect and how things worked.
In the process, also explaining to the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator that his main job would be to teach the sect's younger generation and help them out if they needed any help in their cultivation.
Of course, also explaining about the contribution points he would get for doing this and how these contribution points could be used inside of the sect.
