Arriving at the location of the strange wiggling tree root shortly after he had managed to sneak out of the Star Shattering Sect's territory, Pei Yang could not help freezing on the spot the second he spotted the strange tree root wiggling across the ground with a will of its own. Signifying not only their comprehension of the Dao of Alchemy reaching a brand-new realm but also signifying their promotion from the Master Alchemist Realm to the Junior Grandmaster Alchemist Realm.
All of this was sothing to be overjoyed about, but the two of them didn't really have the ti to focus on their recent breakthrough in the Dao of Alchemy, as the wiggling tree root now floating a few dozen ters off the ground finally seed to have been subdued by Pei Yang, who stuffed it into his interspatial ring before leaving. Not intending to spend any longer than necessary outside the sect.
In the process of this, he had of course contacted Qing Yi and Chun Hua through his divine sense and in turn learnt about their desire to return to the sect after their recent breakthrough in the Dao of Alchemy, thus, he saw no reason to not take the two of them along with him, as it would save them so ti and wasn't really that difficult for him to do.
The wiggling tree root he had thrown into his interspatial ring had already been thoroughly sealed and wouldn't cause any problems in the short term.
In fact, the reason it had taken him so long to subdue the wiggling tree root was because he had to slowly seal it to prevent any damage to his interspatial ring when he placed it inside of it.
Because of this, together with the wiggling tree root disappearing, Qing Yi and Chun Hua also disappeared.
Though… No one noticed this, as everyone were far too focused on crying about the lost chance to improve their strength after the wiggling tree root was taken away…
