This was all good so far, as there was no real way to trace the crystal sphere back to the Star Shattering Sect- or that was at least what he would have wanted to say before he began examining the strange tree root, as it quickly beca clear that it wasn't entirely dead and still seed to be sowhat connected to the main body it had been cut off from.
Now… here ca a question, what would happen when the original owner of that tree root finished his or her battle and ca to find the crystal sphere? Well of course they would end up coming to the Star Shattering Sect… And given how precious the crystal sphere was in its ability to increase comprehension speed, he didn't doubt that the other party would waste no ti attacking the Star Shattering Sect.
Although he was confident in his own strength after breaking through to the Middle Stage of the Sea Formation Realm, it wasn't like he wanted so unknown powerhouse, that should at least have reached the Profound Immortal Realm from what he had been able to sense through the cut off tree root, to attack the Star Shattering Sect.

After all, he would not only have to get rid of the tree root from the Star Shattering Sect, but would also have to convince those who had seen the tree root back in the fallen Sky Empire that the tree root had not been taken from soone belonging to the Star Shattering Sect, sothing that was even more difficult to accomplish than him removing the tree root from the Shattered Star Peaks, as there was no way for him to identify all the people who had seen the tree root wiggling around back then.
In other words, he had to find so way to make them learn more about the tree root without attracting any unwanted attention from other major powers who might be interested in the tree root as well.
