Returning to the sect, Xuan Hao handed over the four new guest elders to Elder Song before he rushed back to the place where he had left Pei Yang in charge of watching over the strange spherical crystal capable of increasing one's comprehension speed just by observing it.
Only after making sure that nothing had happened to the spherical crystal during his short absence that had only lasted for a little over half a day, with most of the ti being spent convincing Gong Cheng and his three friends to join the Star Shattering Sect, did he start to relax a bit and began thinking about ways to make use of the spherical crystal to help the sect without directly exposing it and potentially drawing unwanted attention to the sect in the future.
At the very least, with the Dao Enlightennt Monunt around, there wasn't that much of a need for it for now, as it only really began to show its worth after soone broke through to the Small Success Realm and wanted to reach the Large Success Realm, before that, it wasn't much better than the Dao Enlightennt Monunt and could even be considered worse due to how detailed the information expansive the Dao Enlightennt Monunt was.
The spherical crystal might increase comprehension speed, but that was it, it didn't provide guidance and stored the legacy of countless ancient cultivators like the Dao Enlightennt Monunt did.
But even just increasing comprehension speed alone, it was still extrely beneficial to those who wanted to break through to the Large Success Realm.
Outside of that, there was also another problem that wasn't related to the existence of the spherical crystal leaking outside of the sect and that was the fact that he still had no idea if using the spherical crystal to comprehend the Dao had any kind of side effects.
Increasing one's cultivation speed wasn't easy under normal circumstances and there did exist extre ways that damaged one's own foundation but boosted comprehension speed, he feared that the spherical crystal might unconsciously affect one to use this kind of thod to increase comprehension speed by looking directly at the crystal in question, sothing that would explain why one had to look directly at the crystal to increase one's comprehension speed.
However, if that was really the case, he felt like he would have discovered sothing by now. Not just from examining his own internal situation, but also from checking up on his two disciples who had both broken through their bottlenecks with help from the spherical crystal.
In the end, it did look like there was nothing wrong with the spherical crystal and it could be used without any worries, though, this did make him even more curious about where this kind of magical crystal had co from.
Not that he would be any closer to finding out more about its origins, as he set off to figure out how to make proper use of the spherical crystal that he ended up dubbing the enlightennt orb.
…
Slowly, a few days flew by, as he worked together with Elder Song and a few other trusted and skilled elders to figure out a solution on how to deal with the enlightennt orb.
During these few days as the four new guest elders were officially settled into the sect and the situation inside the Frozen Wastelands continued growing more intense without any sign of calming down after the clash that had taken place a few days earlier, Jiang Chuxie, an older elder from the Formation Hall who also turned out to be the one who had taken Fang Yu into the sect in the past and was helping out with finding a way to make use of the enlightennt orb ca up with a solution that Elder Song and Xuan Hao decided to fully embrace.
The solution was to construct a unique cultivation space for the enlightennt orb.
The cultivation space was in the shape of a semi-circular chamber built around a central pillar that would hold the enlightennt orb.
The orb would not be visible, as it would be embedded inside the pillar itself. Hidden from view.
But the material of the pillar itself would be a kind of special spiritual stone that would be used to carve out a special formation that connected to eight ditation platforms around the pillar. Allowing a hazy image of the enlightennt orb to be shown directly in the mind of the cultivations ditating on top of one of the eight ditation platforms connected directly to the pillar and the enlightennt orb.
The cultivation chamber would not only serve to hide the enlightennt orb from view but would also act as a seal on the enlightennt orb itself. Preventing it from breaking free, as the formation itself would also be connected to the chaotic qi formation to further ensure its stability and prevent anyone from being able to sense the enlightennt orb through their divine sense without first going through the chaotic qi formation.
After this chamber was finished only a short ti after they ca to the decision to construct it, Xuan Hao decided to run so tests of the special new cultivation chamber and soon enough discovered so new limitations and improvents that their usage of the enlightennt orb had caused.
First, the effect of the enlightennt orb had been enhanced as it was focused inside those eight seats. Ensuring it was a far better effect compared to just looking at it directly.
But… At the sa ti, this also brought along so negative side effects that could be sumd up as ntal saturation if used for an extended period of ti.
The ti for ntal saturation to set in wasn't clear and was determined by the strength of the soul and cultivation realm of the user. For now, it was limited to 8 hours for those in the Domain Lord Realm, while those in the Dao Seed Realm should be able to last between 24 and 72 hours depending on their strength.
As for how long he himself would last before he started to feel any side effects… He had no idea and didn't plan to try it out for now, as he decided to hand over the managent of the new cultivation chamber to Elder Song. Making sure that he knew that it wasn't to be used by anyone below the Domain Lord Realm and exceeding the ti limit set could result in cultivation deviation or worse, ntal collapse.
