Returning to the Star Shattering Sect with Huo Fen, ng Jie and the still restricted Land Creation Realm demon beast, it wasn't difficult for the master disciple pair to get settled into the sect with Elder Song stepping up to assist while the demon beast seed to have beco strangely obedient when faced with ng Jie. Allowing the demon beast to get settled in with far more ease than expected, as Feng Chen was called out to help legitimize the position of the Land Creation Realm demon beast as an ancestor of the sect.
Problematic as it might be to have a Land Creation Realm demon beast running around inside the Star Shattering Sect even with the chaotic qi formation guarding the sect, it wasn't optimal to keep its strength restricted forever. Resulting in a new set up that would allow the demon beast to roam around the sect with the restrictions now taken over by the chaotic qi formation slowly being released as it settled into its new position as a demon beast- Ancestor of the Star Shattering Sect.
Normally this kind of set up would have been impossible as no Land Creation Realm demon beast would just go along with sothing like that, but the shadowy demon beast that had been locked up for tens of thousands of years on its own was far from ordinary and had sohow ended up being tad by ng Jie after only a few short interactions.
That and the sect's ability to provide it with spirit stones and food made it unwilling to cause any destruction and allowed it to fully accept its new identity.
In the end, the sect managed to successfully obtain a Land Creation Realm Ancestor in this manner, completing the most difficult part of the main sect quest. Leaving the easier parts that would be simple enough to complete with a few years of dedicated effort.
Aside from that, the Star Soul Pill that had been refined by Huo Fen inside the ancient alchemy sect ruins proved to be successful in solving whatever problems the master disciple pair had been suffering from. Allowing the two of them to similarly settle down and beco part of the Star Shattering Sect. Huo Fen becoming a guest elder for now, while his disciple officially beca a core disciple, as it turned out she fulfilled the requirents of reaching the Nascent Soul Realm before the age of 50. Having apparently broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm at the age of 34 according to Huo Fen.
Overall, the entire situation ended up working out well for the Star Shattering Sect. Not only gaining a Land Creation Realm Demon, a new guest elder at the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm and a talented core disciple who would undoubtedly soon be able to reach the Domain Lord Realm. Helping in completing the main sect quest, but also a serious upgrade to the sect's foundation in the Dao of Alchemy and the Dao of Formations.
Unfortunate as it was that he had been unable to get his hands on a Saint Realm Alchemist Inheritance back at the ancient alchemy sect ruins, he had managed to get his hands on countless alchemy recipes for the Saint Realm along with Saint Grade Spiritual Herbs. Providing a perfect environnt for Pei Yang to breakthrough to the Saint Realm without a Saint Realm Alchemist Inheritance.
Not to ntion, he had still managed to get his hands on one Saint Realm Inheritance this ti around for the Dao of Formations. aning that the sect now has a stable foundation for all three of the sect's main profession halls. Ensuring a clear path to the Saint Realm. Especially the alchemy sect, as though it lacked a Saint Realm Inheritance for now, it did have the five alchemy artifacts that would make progressing into the Saint Realm far easier.
Returning back to ho, Xuan Hao found himself rather satisfied with how things had ended up and decided to spent the foreseeable future on using the Stardusk Essence he had managed to get his hands on to widen his spiritual sea and break through to the Peak of the Sea Formation Realm, while at the sa ti focusing on completing the Main Sect Quest so the chaotic qi formation could be strengthened as soon as possible.
And of course, the resources he had brought back and didn't keep for himself had all ended up in the hands of Elder Song, who was by far the best person to take care of these kinds of things.
Feng Chen might be the sect leader, but the managent of the sect's resources was still in the hands of Elder Song and the slowly rising managent elders who were slowly increasing in number alongside the growth of the sect. Providing a path for elders and disciples who were either tired of ordinary sect duties and wanted to settle down or simply didn't have the talent or courage to proceed further.
After all, it wasn't anyone who would be able to face the different deadly tribulations that were unavoidable with the advancent of one's cultivation realm.
Although the sect had ways to lessen the danger, it was ultimately still a life and death tribulation and not everyone made it through, thus, a few of those unwilling to take the risk ended up joining the sect's managent instead of attempting to push forward.
Of course, this didn't an they just gave up, in most cases, it was just a temporary break to calm themselves and reach the most optimal state of mind before taking another step forward. That and the ever-present fear of death as their lifespan would inevitably start to run out with further advancent being their only path towards living longer.
No matter, it was an overall positive to sect, as it helped expand the number of people working under Elder Song to help manage the sect, while at the sa ti also providing a place for those who felt uncertain about their future, a place to go or at least settle down for so ti.
As for whether these uncertain elders and disciples would leave managent or stay in the future? That would be entirely up to Elder Song and his efforts.
…
"Master, I will be going to Formation Hall to see how everyone is settling in after joining the sect."
"Sure, you could also take the chance to show them around the sect and get them familiar with their new ho."
"Ah, good idea! Thanks, master, bye master!"
Waving off Chu Yang as he left shortly after he had spent the past few hours going over the battle with those Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators and his questions regarding the battle, Xuan Hao found himself on his own, though not for long, as he could already sense his youngest disciple on the way.
Though, she wouldn't be back for a few minutes. Giving him more than enough ti to go over the main sect quest and the overall progress he had managed to make after recruiting the Land Creation Realm demon beast into becoming an ancestor of the sect. Even if the demon beast in question had no idea about its new identity and more so seed like a pet of ng Jie…
[Main Sect Quest: First Steps towards Becoming a Major Power (I)] [Description: The sect has entered a state of rapid growth and is about to finally step onto the main stage of the Ewaria Continent. Help the sect reach the requirents to beco a major power on the Ewaria Continent.] [Core Formation Realm Disciples: 9294/10.000] [Nascent Soul Realm Disciples: 42/100] [Domain Lord Realm Disciples: 5/10] [Soul Ascension Realm Elders: 75/100] [Dao Seed Realm Elders: 10/10 (Complete)] [Profound Immortal Realm Ancestor: 1/1 (Complete)]
[Reward: World Stone (Immortal), Chaotic Qi Formation Upgrade, ???] [Note: Does not count host as part of the requirents] Overall, outside of completing the most difficult of the six objectives for the quest, he had also managed to complete the second most challenging one by accident by recruiting Huo Fen to join the sect as an elder.
The only thing that was left was the disciple part of the quest along with a few more Soul Ascension Realm elders that shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish. Overall, he expected to complete the main sect quest in at most two years given the current growth speed of the sect. At which point it might be ti for the sect to start eyeing the territory of the Blue Sea Empire for further expansion.
That or the sect could avoid it to not get dragged into the entire normal cultivators vs demonic cultivators battle that was playing out across the continent.
In which case the only real direction for future sect expansion would be the outer regions of the continent where spiritual qi was sparse or just focus on internal developnt and ensure that the territory of the sect beca stronger.
Whatever the choice would be, he had a feeling that it wouldn't be him making it, as Feng Chen, Elder Song and several others would undoubtedly have a far better idea about what direction to take the sect in compared to him…
