After Gong Bo had inford one of the guards patrolling around the area just outside the manor, he had returned back to the manor again where all the others had already returned back to their own rooms and settled down for the night.

Stretching herself after waking up, Qing Yi looked over the edge of the bed she was laying in before rembering what had happened yesterday.

Rembering the interspatial ring that had been handed to her, Qing Yi quickly fumbled her way out of her bed before searching the small table next to the bed.

"Hah… It's still here…" Letting out a sigh of relief upon discovering the small interspatial ring still filled with all sorts of spiritual herbs and a small mountain of spirit stone, Qing Yi soon got dressed before making her way out of her room to et up with her master and the other elders.
From what they had planned, she already knew that they would be leaving the morning at the day after the alchemy competition.
"Hello Qing Yi, how are you doing? Got enough rest?"
Hearing an old voice echo out from behind her the mont she stepped out of her room, Qing Yi quickly turned towards the origin of the voice.
"I'm fine Elder Gong, a good night's sleep was enough to clear away all my exhaustion from the competition! By the way are the other elders already preparing to leave?"
"That's great to hear and the other elders are indeed preparing to leave, it's just that your master had sothing to do before leaving, so I think we might have to wait a bit until he returns again. Well, I still have to see if I can help the others, you can just relax in your room until we leave."

A little earlier when the sun had just co up and Qing Yi was still asleep, Xuan Hao had suddenly felt Yi Min contacting him through her divine sense asking him to et her at the large place located at the centre of the capital city where she resided.
This was not really out of his expectations, as he had already expected for her to contact him at so point before he left. The subject of said eting was very likely going to be sothing about the people who had attacked the capital earlier!
Thinking about this, Xuan Hao thought that the main reason why she did not ask him to follow her back to talk about this earlier, was likely because she already knew that his disciple was participating in the alchemy competition, and she didn't want him to miss it for sothing that could wait.
After all, she did not really expect for her enemies to return within a few hours of them having been beaten up by the demonic beast that they had likely planned to use against her at so point…

Standing up from where he had been ditating through the night, Xuan Hao disappeared from the room. Only to reappear directly in front of the palace at the centre of the capital in the next mont.

Seeing the person that had called him over in the first place sitting in a small corner of the room nibbling away on a few snacks with a cup of tea next to her, Xuan Hao walked over and found a chair already prepared for him as he quickly sat down.

Reluctantly putting the half-eaten cookie down, Yi Min put on a serious face before asking this.

The very clear pieces from the cookie she had just eaten covering parts of the dress along with a few pieces still left around her mouth, did not really fit very well with her current serious expression…
