Chapter 631 Weird Person from the Sky Empire
Breathing out heavily as he stood at the centre of a massive crater that had ford around him, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he looked at the sword in his hands still lightly shaking after having collided with the combined power of the three golden palms.

Feeling that the restriction on the space around him had been lifted, Xuan Hao didn't dare stay behind for even a second longer, as he instantly used the Drifting Cloud Steps to move away from the ancient temple.
The last thing he wanted right now, was to endure such an attack again… Not to ntion, he had no idea if the next attack would be even more powerful than the last!
If it really ended up being more powerful… Xuan Hao had no idea if he would be able to defend against it, as the Earth Splitting Sword from the Heaven Splitting Sword Art, was by far the strongest technique that he could use at the mont.
"That was… Far more powerful than I imagined…" Muttering this to himself as he glanced towards the place just next to the ancient temple where he had faced the powerful attack, Xuan Hao smiled a bit wryly.
The destruction brought to everything around the ancient temple was simply terrifying, as other than the canyon being turned into so sort of valley, the buildings and smaller temples that had once been standing intact next to the ancient pagoda… Had all disappeared!
The power from the clash between the three golden palms and the Earth Splitting Sword was simply far too powerful, as almost nothing other than the ancient temple had been able to survive. The little rubble and other things that had managed to survive outside of the ancient temple was scattered in a radius of a hundred miles around the ancient temple!
However, this was not all, as a massive crater a few thousand ters wide and close to a hundred ters deep could be seen just next to the ancient temple.
Even looking at it from a distance, Xuan Hao could not help feeling amazed seeing the destruction that had taken place. Not because the destruction was especially devastating, but because the crater and the environnt around the centre of the clash had been created by nothing more than the remnant power of the three golden palms and his sword attack.
Almost all of the power rom the two attacks had cancelled each other out, yet the small amount of power that leaked out into the environnt had destroyed everything within a hundred-mile radius!
From this alone, it could easily be seen just how powerful a Peak Domain Lord was and at the sa ti, it also helped Xuan Hao get a better understanding of his own strength.
"But… What was that space restriction from earlier…? It completely prevented from using the Drifting Cloud Steps or any other movent techniques…" Observing the destruction that had been created around the ancient temple, Xuan Hao could not help frowning to himself. Rembering how he had suddenly found himself almost locked in place, unable to dodge the three golden palms heading down towards him.
Even if he had managed to co out unscratched, Xuan Hao still felt fearful when rembering how he had been unable to properly use his movent technique.
"Is it perhaps because my understanding of space is far too low at the mont that I was unable to escape? Indeed… Compared to the rest of my cultivation, I have indeed neglected increasing my understanding of spatial manipulation. All I've done with it so far is create interspatial rings and randomly teleport around with the Drifting Cloud Steps…" Smiling a bit wryly as he realized just how much he had neglected increasing his understanding and proficiency in spatial manipulation, Xuan Hao promised himself to spend so ti trying to increase his strength when it ca to spatial manipulation after returning from the Main Star Peak.
At the very least, he would not go anywhere near the ancient temple before his spatial manipulation and usage of the Drifting Cloud Steps had increased enough for him to escape a situation where the space around him was restricted.
In the future, he would not be helpless to just wait and try his best to endure the attack and would instead have a way to escape the attack without wasting all his energy defending passively like he had just done.
Although he had indeed gotten out without any serious injuries, it would still take so ti for his energy reserves to recover again.
"But… How co the power behind the attack lacked any form of support from a domain?" Muttering this to himself as looked towards the lingering power from the earlier clash located in the crater next to the ancient temple in the distance, Xuan Hao could not help feeling like sothing was wrong with the attack from earlier.

Shaking his head as he stopped trying to draw conclusion from the limited information, he had been able to gather so far, Xuan Hao glanced one last ti towards the ancient temple before leaving.
Although he really wanted to check out the ancient scroll that had enraged the entity on top of the ancient temple enough to launch such a terrifying attack, Xuan Hao did not plan on doing it before he had left the Main Peak and had returned to the safety of the Chaotic Qi Formation.

No matter how weird the person sent by the Sky Empire was, she would still have to talk with him. After all, the only reason why the Sky Empire would send soone to the border region of the Sky Empire specially to visit them, would be sothing related to the sect alliance!
At this point in ti, another person should also have arrived at the Seven Fates Sect, as they had also been invited to take part in the sect alliance arranged by the Sky Empire.
Even if she understood the true purpose of the sect alliance, she also understood just how useful the sect alliance would be for the developnt of the sect when it ca to gathering and trading resources. Not to ntion recruiting new and more talented disciples from across the Sky Empire.
The rest of the sects joining the sect alliance were the sa, as they all to so degree understood the risks. However, the benefits of joining the sect alliance were simply far too much for these sects to ignore and it was not like the Sky Empire and the three major religious orders would simply leave them alone forever!
Better take this chance to further increase their strength and hopefully produce a Soul Ascension Realm Expert!
