However, before the axe of the demonic cultivator could reach the cardinal who had yet to recover from the impact, a small silver sword appeared out of thin air beside the massive axe descending towards the cardinal before striking it with a power that caused the already surprised demonic cultivator to montarily lose control of the axe as it ended up not hitting the cardinal.

Understanding that he had been given another chance at life, the cardinal quickly jumped out of the crater before distancing himself from the demonic cultivator while recovering his injured body at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Different from the cardinal who was filled with happiness after having escaped a certain death situation, the demonic cultivator was filled with killing intent as a terrifying divine sense swept through the entire noble district trying to locate the person who had made a move just now.

Not wasting any more ti after that, the demonic cultivator entered the spatial tunnel before disappearing from the noble district filled with an unbearable killing intent that made so of the weaker Domain Lords close to the battle collapse on the ground shaking in fear.

Having lost the support of the demonic cultivator, the Soul Sacrifice Formation that now only operated with the help of the small energy batteries that had been used to activate it and bait over the cardinal broke apart almost instantaneously under the attack of the capital's guardian formation.
