Now reading: Chapter 109: Formidable Enemy from Cultivating in the Wizard World, a Fantasy novel by Herbivorous alligator.

Its eyes burned with subterranean fire, exuding a fierce and scorching glow, tightly gripping a warhamr ford of solidified lava, each swing bringing waves of heat and billowing smoke.

This presence’s aura had astonishingly reached the level of Second Level Creatures!

The battle erupted almost instantaneously!

The Underground Demon Elder didn’t waste a single word, directly swinging the massive lava warhamr with earth-shattering force toward the trio!

Molten lava dripped from the warhamr, scorching the rock wall wherever it passed, leaving charred marks.

"Be careful!" Victor shouted, swiftly waving the wizard-like Magic Staff in his hand, and a solid earthen wall instantly rose.

However, the warhamr, carrying terrifying kinetic energy and fiery power, instantly tore the earthen wall apart, forcing Victor to retreat awkwardly as the Defense Magic wavered.

Amy seized the opportunity to cast magic, hurling several Fireballs in quick succession at the Demon Elder.

Yet, these Fireballs hit the Demon Elder’s rock-like skin like stones into a lake, rely causing insignificant ripples, failing to break through the defense effectively.

The Demon Elder roared angrily, the ground trembling, with several spikes composed of rock and flas thrusting out from the ground, forcing Amy to dodge.

The Demon Elder’s strength and defense far exceeded their expectations, and Amy and Victor’s attacks couldn’t inflict effective damage!

Although both were rely First Level Wizards, wizards generally had the edge when confronting extraordinary beings from other planes.

Especially since they had independently constructed Attack-type Witchcraft, and their attacks should be sufficient to inflict so damage on ordinary Second Level Creatures.

"Sothing’s off with this guy, let handle it!"

Only after the opponent approached did Jeming perceive a mysterious Resonance between the Demon Elder’s "vibration" and the surrounding mineral veins.

This indicated that the opponent’s power should be connected to the surrounding mineral veins as a whole, no longer calculable as an ordinary Second Level Creature.

Just before the Demon Elder’s warhamr fell, Jeming proactively stepped over Amy and Victor to confront it, while all four layers of defense on his body fully activated!

The multi-layered defense made the Underground Demon Elder’s attacks incredibly inefficient, each strike feeling like hitting cotton and unable to reach Jeming.

While maintaining defense, the Talisman Witchcraft on Jeming’s wrist didn’t stop, with Energy Bullets pouring out like a tide.

Each Energy Bullet precisely struck vulnerable parts of the Underground Demon Elder, such as joints and neck.

The Energy Bullet’s effect was slightly better than Amy’s Fireballs.

Yet, although each Energy Bullet inflicted damage, the Demon Elder’s physique was so robust that the injuries rapidly healed at a visible pace, making it seem like re scratches.

Amy and Victor, assisting Jeming to buy ti, also readjusted their attack strategies, attempting to find the Demon Elder’s weakness, but with little success.

"This won’t do!" Victor gritted his teeth, "Its recovery speed is too fast!"

Jeming’s eyes glead brightly.

"Restrict its movent!" he said in a deep voice, while taking out a Witchcraft Artifact with a cold tallic sheen from his bosom.

This artifact was a Fourth Level Attack-type Witchcraft he had specifically purchased from the academy.

Amy and Victor hesitated not a mont, activating Alchemy and Attack-type Witchcraft simultaneously, with unrestrained Spiritual Power filling, the power of the witchcraft soared to its maximum in an instant!

Victor’s Wind Blades gathered into a giant hamr with imnse impact, accurately striking the Underground Demon Elder’s knee joints and arms.

anwhile, Amy, knowing from previous probing that the Demon Elder seed immune to fire, focused on using Alchemy, controlling the surrounding rocks into walls that pressed toward the opponent.

"Roar!!" The Demon Elder let out a roar of anguish.

With imnse impact force and heavy stone walls restricting movent, its massive body swayed slightly, unable to move with agility.

At the mont of its restriction, Jeming was already ready.

Imnse Spiritual Power surged into the Fourth Level Witchcraft in his hand like a tide, instantly locking onto the Underground Demon Elder’s vital chest!

[Energy Gathering Beam].

The front end of the Fourth Level Witchcraft instantly condensed a dazzling light, forming a crimson beam with a destructive aura.

The red light sliced through the dim mine air, hitting the Demon Elder’s hard rocky chest in less than a blink.

No explosion, no boom.

Just a chilling "sizzle."

The crimson beam instantly burnt through the Underground Demon Elder’s rock skin, penetrating its flesh and bones.

Accompanying Jeming’s arduous control, the red beam made an up and down slash, then vanished.

The Demon Elder’s massive body froze, the subterranean fire in its eyes extinguished instantly.

Thud!

The massive lava warhamr slipped from its hand, crashing heavily to the ground, raising a cloud of dust.

The Underground Demon Elder’s three-ter-tall massive body split in half, collapsing lifelessly.

The two "sliced" sections still emanated white smoke from black scorched crusts, showing the terrifying power of that beam.

Amy and Victor sighed in relief seeing this, but turned around to see Jeming’s state, getting startled, imdiately becoming alert.

They used reconnaissance witchcraft to explore the surroundings, while guarding his side with vigilance.

"Fortunately, I’m fine, just a bit drained."

Jeming put away the Fourth Level Witchcraft, his face slightly pale.

Using the Fourth Level Witchcraft consud considerable Spiritual Power, but not enough to exhaust him; the real drain ca from the final fine-tuning of the witchcraft.

With the Demon Elder’s power and displayed synergy with the mineral veins, rely penetrating a wound with a beam wouldn’t be lethal unless hitting the head directly.

In urgency, Jeming could only forcibly control the Fourth Level Witchcraft to slightly "wiggle" up and down.

Beam-type witchcraft are the most difficult to control, and forcibly maneuvering an already shaped Attack-type Witchcraft was much harder than controlling witchcraft like "Soul Search."

Swallowing a vial of Magic Potion, Jeming’s complexion instantly looked much better.

"Thanks to your artifact, otherwise, we would’ve been in big trouble this ti." Victor sighed in relief seeing this.

Jeming shook his head: "With our current power, activating a Fourth Level Witchcraft is still too slow. Be careful, this entity was clearly a Demon Elder, yet without any subordinates."

"Recon shows there is an energy gathering site up ahead, judging by energy fluctuations, it should be an altar-like place, likely the reason for this guy’s frenzy." Amy pointed to the deep part of the mine not far away.

Before the words fell, the altar guarded by the Demon Elder in the mine’s depth suddenly shook violently!
