Now reading: Chapter 212 - 194: Yeti City from Cultivating in the Wizard World, a Fantasy novel by Herbivorous alligator.

"Taking advantage of the current situation before it fully unfolds, I can try visiting so larger Yeti gathering places..." An idea beca crystal clear in his mind.

The reason he ca here was to validate the hypothesis about the Red Dust Qi, although the previous small camp had already basically confird it.

Moreover, he himself felt that even if he switched to a larger gathering place, he would likely still be unable to collect Red Dust Qi.

But for the sake of rigor, Jeming still hoped to experint a few more tis.

After all, as a researcher, if he doesn’t validate multiple tis, he always feels uneasy, unable to satisfy his thoughts.

And now, it’s the perfect opportunity for experints!

Those large, undefended Yeti "cities" provide the best venues for this experint!

More importantly, apart from experinting, he can now fully explore the large cities he once dared not approach.

If he’s lucky, he might obtain previously unattainable spoils from them.

Having made up his mind, he imdiately inford Edgar of his intentions.

"Lord Edgar, I wish to continue reconnaissance of so larger Yeti gathering places," Jeming casually provided a plausible reason. "Since the High Tier forces have already withdrawn, the risk of reconnaissance is at its lowest and might yield more valuable information."

Edgar wasn’t surprised, and even sowhat approving.

In his view, Jeming was a highly proactive junior with a great spirit of exploration.

"It’s a good idea, but be careful," Edgar advised. "I have so confird intelligence on large Yeti ’cities’ within our post’s jurisdiction that you can refer to."

He transmitted a three-dinsional map marked with several red dots to Jeming.

It detailed the coordinates, approximate scale, and previously identified defensive deploynts of several large Yeti settlents.

Jeming paid the corresponding military rits and stored this valuable map in his Magic Network Terminal.

Without lingering any longer, he bid Edgar a simple farewell and pushed open the post’s heavy tal door once again.

"Thank you, well then, I’m off."

The icy cold wind wrapped around his body once more, the "Body Refining Technique" autonomously operated, providing a warm current.

He glanced at the map in his hand, identified the direction of the nearest red dot, then vanished from the post, disappearing into the vast snowstorm.

...

...

Using the detailed intelligence purchased from the wizard at the post and the precise three-dinsional map in the Magic Network Terminal, Jeming traveled through the endless snowstorm for several days.

Finally, a snow-covered abyss slowly erged before him.

This was the first exploration target known as "Yeti City No. 4."

However, the location of this "city" was quite different from Jeming’s initial expectations.

It wasn’t built atop a towering glacier or hidden within the nest of a glacier, but rather situated in an astounding, extrely deep circular crater!

The city’s outline seed to be constructed along the edge of this gigantic crater.

Jeming examined the intelligence he had purchased, and couldn’t help but marvel: "Judging by its smooth inner walls and residual traces, was this huge crater created by draining a large ice lake and then building on that basis?!"

According to the information obtained from the intelligence station, typical Yeti settlents are usually carved into glacier cliffs or comprised of ice houses on flat ice plains.

Yet settlents reaching "city" scale choose to be built in lake beds or basins like this!

"Such a site selection... If ordinary creatures dared to do so, a blizzard could bury the entire city under heavy snow!" Jeming pondered.

For ordinary creatures, any tribe or town choosing low-lying areas in such an extre environnt would be courting disaster.

However, for the peculiar elental creatures that are Yeti, this site selection seed reasonable and even culturally significant.

In Yeti culture, being buried by snow is considered a sacred act, a return to nature’s embrace; being frozen deep within the ice is viewed as a form of "deep sleep" for cultivation.

Additionally, as elental creatures that do not require oxygen, being under thick snow and ice layers is almost identical to being on an open ice plain.

Rather, it’s like a fish in water, better able to absorb the cold energy from the Earth Vein.

Thus, such unique city site selections are made.

"But since it’s in a pit, infiltration becos easier," Jeming couldn’t help but chuckle.

He suppressed all energy fluctuations on his body, carefully applied several types of Disguise Magic to shield against infrared detection, life detection, and temperature fluctuations.

Then, skillfully employing Alchemy, he began digging a hole, cautiously infiltrating the city’s interior.

The passage slanted downwards under his adept technique, quickly evading the sparse patrols outside the Yeti city and leading directly to the city’s underground level.

Once inside the city, Jeming’s first task was to conduct his most crucial "validation."

Like a ghost, he traversed the icy corridors, reaching the edge of the city’s core area.
