Previously, he had only skimd the surveillance records regarding spatial stability, but now, in the quiet, Jeming realized he had an overwhelming amount of things to address.
For instance, in the ssage list on the terminal, aside from those ssages from David concerning material transfers and so research progress, and the various transaction records from the boundary point over the past fifty years,
the most noticeable were the ssages from his two friends—Amy and Victor.
The ssages from both were quite similar, with each person leaving two ssages.
The timing of the first ssage was about forty years ago.
In it, they stated they had completed the last round of military service and were planning to co over to see Jeming and exchange their findings with him.
However, unfortunately, because Jeming was still far away in the Ice and Fla Plane at the ti, busy with the heavy work of post-war statistics, he couldn’t pull away.
So, they had no choice but to leave a ssage, asking Jeming to look them up for a gathering after he returned.
The other ssage ca four or five years after the first one.
After waiting for a few years, they found that Jeming still showed no signs of returning, so they left another ssage stating that they had decided to embark on a new round of military service tasks.
Victor’s ssage was a bit more tactful.
He rely told Jeming that once they completed this new round of military service, they would essentially fulfill the long military service contract they had signed with the academy upon enrollnt.
By that ti, they would be able to gain true freedom and choose their future path freely.
Amy’s ssage, on the other hand, was much more direct.
She used a tone that was both indisputable and slightly expectant, insisting that Jeming must "wait for them."
Once they returned from this round of military service, the three of them would, as free wizards, venture into a wider Plane Battlefield for a real adventure.
Jeming couldn’t help but smile knowingly as he read their ssages, especially Amy’s confidence conveyed between the lines.
From the tone of the ssages, it seed that both of them had made considerable gains throughout their decades of military service.
Presumably, their skills and perspectives were greatly enhanced, feeling that they could catch up to or even surpass him.
Though Jeming was quite confident himself.
After all, in the past fifty years, he had experienced the unique encounters of the Living Plane, researching and learning a vast amount of knowledge.
The progress he made probably far exceeded their expectations, and he didn’t consider himself easy to surpass.
However, seeing his friends able to regain their spirit and find a new direction on the harsh path of wizardry was sothing very gratifying for him.
He simply replied to both of them, informing them that he had returned and wishing them success in their military service.
After responding to other ssages that required replies, Jeming carefully inspected and upgraded the defense system of the Golden Garden, the energy cycles in the underground laboratory, the arrangents within his territory, and even the Purgatory Sulfur Plane allocated to him, finally addressing all the external trivialities.
It was only after a dozen days that Jeming returned to the laboratory once more.
He took a deep breath, completely settling his mind, formally beginning to prepare himself for advancing to a Second Level Wizard.
Among the three core conditions required for the advancent to a Second Level Wizard, Jeming’s Spiritual Power had already filled the "Ring of Truth" to the brim after fifty relentless years of ditation and accumulation in the Ice and Fla Plane, eting the hardware standard for promotion.
The more extensive and complex knowledge system needed to reconstruct the "Ring of Truth" had also been fully prepared through the massive information he accessed over the last fifty years, and through learning and research during his leisure ti.
Now, only the last and most critical step remained—to bring his soul and body to a state of "extre activation."
This requirent essentially lays the groundwork for a future promotion to Third Level Wizard as a Second Level Wizard.
Because only with an extrely activated soul and body, one can perceive the omnipresent "rules" within a plane more distinctly.
It helps in preparing for future selection and research of these rules.
Of course, on a practical level, an extrely activated body and soul also allow a wizard to better sense and harmonize with surrounding elental forces.
This significantly reduces the "threshold" for manipulating elental powers, making spellcasting faster, and less resource-consuming.
Moreover, if the wizard chooses a suitable system, it might even be possible to temporarily enter an "elentalization" state during combat.
However, based on Jeming’s discussion with Professor Clark and Senior Viola, they did not recomnd overly relying on this "elentalization" technique during battles.
According to those two, the so-called "bodily elentalization" might seem like it can make one immune to most physical damage.
In reality, though, if encountered with sufficiently powerful, or physical attacks with special rules, it can still be easily broken.
Moreover, when facing elental attacks of the sa source or those that are counter-active, the elentalized body becos more fragile, suffering double the damage.
This ability, at best, can be used for minor skirmishes.
In battles against opponents of the sa level, using it recklessly is akin to courting death.
Regrettably, during plane wars, wizards mostly have to battle against enemies of the sa or higher level.
So, Jeming didn’t focus too much on this so-called "combat advantage."
What he truly valued was the enormous help "extre activation" provides in perceiving rules.
However, with the existing technology of the Wizard Civilization, most thods cannot maintain "extre activation" of body and soul on a regular basis.
The few techniques that can sustain it consistently co with exorbitantly high costs, requiring vast amounts of rare resources or extrely dangerous bloodline modifications.
Even with Jeming’s wealth, after reviewing the data, he felt it was unaffordable.
Hence, mainstream wizards ca up with a clever yet effective workaround—before promotion, through high-intensity "transformation surgery" or consuming special "magic potions," they temporarily bring their body and soul into an unstable "activated" state.
Then, imdiately proceed with the promotion ceremony.
Using the "Life Transcendence" phenonon generated during the life-level leap at promotion, they permanently stabilize and fixate this temporary state!
