A few months after signing up, Jeming received a system notification on his personal terminal from the "Boundary Point."
The brief information stream inford him that a new dinsional war was about to begin, and all registered wizards must proceed to the gathering point within the designated ti to prepare for the dinsional war.
Learning from the last dinsional war, where he spent decades outside due to encountering a living plane, Jeming prepared extensively this ti.
Before departure, he spent a large amount of ti organizing his "Golden Garden," the underground laboratory, and the Incubation Pool within the Purgatory Sulfur Plane in perfect order.
Not only did he upgrade all the defense arrays and stockpile enough energy to last for centuries, but he also issued a series of automated commands to the magma giants he had incubated and the black giants that hadn’t fully grown.
In this way, Jeming ensured that even if he were to leave for hundreds or even thousands of years, his rear would remain intact without any issues even in his absence.
Once everything was set, Jeming confidently stepped into the teleportation array.
With the experience from last ti, Jeming arrived directly at the massive plaza outside the Affairs Center at the Boundary Point.
The vast plaza was sparsely populated, with only a few thousand people scattered across it, making it seem sowhat empty.
The spiderweb-like space transmission arrays around flashed with colorful lights intermittently.
Wizards of various appearances continuously erged from them, converging toward the plaza.
Jeming found a relatively quiet corner, leaned against a cold tal pillar, and began closing his eyes to rest and adjust his ntal state.
At the sa ti, he imrsed himself in his thoughts, conducting a final inventory and organization of the various combat supplies in his internal space.
After an unknown period, as Jeming organized rows of magic potions and witchcraft tools and classified the backup energy pools, he suddenly felt a curious and inquisitive gaze directed at him.
The other party seed to hold no malice, nor did they try to conceal it, for Jeming could clearly feel the gaze even with his eyes closed.
With his curiosity piqued, Jeming opened his eyes and looked in the direction of the gaze.
Not far away, a young-looking wizard clad in alchemy armant was peeking over at him.
Upon seeing the person, Jeming frowned.
Because the person seed sowhat familiar, yet when he tried to recall, it didn’t seem familiar at all.
In fact, it wasn’t just the wizard staring at him.
Even the other wizards in the small team of seven or eight gave Jeming a sense of déjà vu.
Noticing Jeming’s scrutinizing gaze, the wizard looked even more closely.
Upon clearly seeing Jeming’s features, the wizard suddenly lit up!
Jeming watched as the wizard said a few words to his companions, then excitedly made their way through the crowd toward him.
"Kid! Long ti no see!"
Seeing the person approach him so familiarly, Jeming, out of a wizard’s instinct, beca slightly guarded.
However, the wizard seed unfazed by Jeming’s wariness, maintaining a cheerful smile.
Seeing Jeming apparently not recognizing him, he couldn’t help but remind him, "What? Has it only been a few hundred years and you’ve already forgotten your senior brother from when you enrolled?"
With this reminder, it was as if a long-forgotten gate of mory flew open in Jeming’s mind!
He suddenly realized that this young wizard resembled soone he once knew!
The face of this person was very similar to his senior brother in the Alchemy Elent, Wizard Jack, whom he t at the exhibition booth of the Logistics Elent back when he first enrolled!
Jeming also rembered.
The people surrounding Wizard Jack were actually the graduated senior brothers from the Logistics Elent present back then!
However, these senior brothers now appeared much younger than their previously weathered appearances.
They were no longer wearing the humble wizard robes of the past but donned chanical exoskeleton armor exuding technological and energy light.
More importantly, their levels were not as they were when Jeming first t them.
He could clearly sense their auras, which had steadily reached the level of a Second Level Wizard.
"Jack Senior Brother?" Jeming asked tentatively.
"Hey! Lucky you haven’t really forgotten , or we seniors would have been very disappointed." Jack grinned.
Upon receiving a positive response, Jeming promptly bowed and greeted Jack and the other seniors.
After recognizing his old acquaintance, a sincere smile inadvertently appeared on his face.
In truth, the two were not very familiar; strictly speaking, they only t once when Jeming first entered the Wizard World during enrollnt.
However, no matter what, this was one of the few "acquaintances" Jeming had encountered in this cold and cruel Wizard World.
"I really didn’t expect to run into you all here..."
As Jeming conversed with them, he discreetly assessed the number of people in this reunited "Senior" team.
He clearly rembered that back on the square, this team had at least a dozen people.
Now, there were noticeably fewer than when he saw them at the start of the school year, and even a number of new faces.
It seems there were so losses during these years of Plane wars.
But those who survived had grown much stronger than before!
Jeming was even surprised to find that the one who was then just a Third Level Wizard Apprentice, the seemingly most unremarkable Magic Potion senior.
Now, had beco the highest level presence in this team—a genuine Third Level Wizard!
Upon realizing Jeming truly recognized him, Jack and the other Wizards in the team showed relieved smiles.
After all, for Wizards who never know when they might experience danger, it’s a joyous occasion to reunite with even a fleeting acquaintance.
Jack carefully sized up Jeming again and couldn’t help but exclaim:
"I never thought! When we first t, you were just an ordinary person who knew nothing about Wizards. I can’t believe, in just a few hundred years, you’ve caught up in level!"
"My judgnt was right, you’re a genius!" the Senior Brother of Rune Magic said proudly.
"Tch! You say that about everyone you et, what kind of judgnt is that!"
"Not convinced?!"
The two in Jack’s team habitually started bickering, and no one stepped in to stop them, in fact, many were cheerfully egging them on.
This commotion attracted the attention of many Wizards, as lively Wizards like these were indeed rare in Wizard Civilization.
Jeming looked at the team with so envy, then had a brief exchange with Jack, and they shared so of their experiences over the years.
Though they weren’t very familiar with each other, at least they had so past interactions.
At this mont, heading to the battlefield, eting old friends was indeed a pleasing occurrence.
As they were about to part, they exchanged contact information.
They agreed that if they encountered any difficult problems during this Plane war, they could seek support from each other.
Jeming knew this was Senior Jack taking care of him, as he, by himself, wouldn’t have the capability to support them based on numbers.
After bidding farewell to Senior Jack and his team, Jeming waited for a while longer.
Soon, Jeming was astonished to see the number of Wizards on the square had grown to an astounding level.
He estimated that it should be over a hundred thousand!
This was much more than the number of Wizards who participated in the Ice and Fla Plane war last ti!
At that mont, a massive shadow covered the entire square, blocking out the daylight.
All the Wizards simultaneously looked up.
Between them, the artificial sky at the Boundary Point was completely overshadowed by a vast expanse of pitch-black land!
Jeming knew in his heart that this should be the "ship" Plane they would embark on for this expedition.
Judging by its size and the exposed land color, it was not the sa "ship" he took when conquering the Ice and Fla Plane last ti.
However, Jeming was no longer the newcor who knew nothing.
He learned a lot about the "Boundary Point" through various data.
For example, at the "Boundary Point," there were more than one of these Planes used as "ferries."
The so-called "ship Plane" is essentially those Planes that have been excessively extracted of Plane Origin and various core resources and have completely lost their value for sustained developnt.
In the end, they were repurposed by Wizards into mobile war fortresses through various technologies.
These Planes, already on the verge of being scrapped, were being used as tools to navigate the endless Chaotic Void; it was quite a bargain.
Jeming knew that the three major forces, including Nolun Workshop, established hundreds of such ship Planes at the Boundary Point as strategic reserves.
Taking into account that the Boundary Point sends out one or two expeditions a year, and conquering a small to dium-sized Plane takes anywhere from twenty to a hundred years on average.
With so many "ships," there was no need to worry about a shortage of "transportation."
