He once again slipped into the phase gap, silently approaching that astonishingly defensive simulation board.
In the instant he approached the glow of the field...
Switch!
Buzz!!!
This ti, the sound changed.
No longer a clear cutting sound, but a deep trembling, as if space itself was mourning.
The space fissure that appeared was no longer purely black; the edges even flickered with an unstable rainbow light.
Nevertheless, the result was still shocking.
The powerful Sixth Level energy force field, before the space discontinuity, was like butter t with a hot knife, easily "torn" open a gap.
The biological armor simulation board behind it was also sliced with a deep crack; although due to its thickness it wasn’t completely severed, the damage depth reached one-third!
Most crucially, instrunt data showed that at the mont the spatial slash took effect, the energy force field’s strength almost had no weakening effect.
The attack seed to "skip over" the energy confrontation process, directly acting on the substance and energy field’s entity.
The experint concluded.
Jeming lifted the magic, breathing slightly.
Looking at the chaotic test field and those targets and armor plates destroyed by the "spatial slash," his eyes glowed with excitent and contemplation.
"Indeed... the theory is correct. The power of this [spatial slash] derives from the shear at the spatial level, rather than energy collision. As long as the timing is right, it can indeed pose a lethal threat to higher-tier enemies."
He walked to the Sixth Level defense plate that had been cut, and ran his fingers over the smooth incision.
"However, at the mont of the switch, one becos exposed. Additionally, attacking high-energy entities seems to trigger more intense spatial reactions and demands stronger control power for stabilization... These are directions for optimization in the next step."
Unlike the chaotic instability and huge influence from the energy environnt characterizing [space distortion], this [spatial slash] power is almost undisturbed by external energy intensity before phase switching is completed.
Theoretically, as long as Jeming successfully gets close with this move, even beings with energy intensity reaching the Sixth Level, without targeted defense, are likely to be severely injured or perhaps instantly killed!
"Of course, this is the optimal situation in theory." Jeming analyzed calmly, "In actual combat, entities reaching the Sixth Level generally have keen spatial perception ability, making silent approaches almost impossible. And even if approached, they can evade or defend by predicting spatial fluctuations."
However, in any case, this undoubtedly provides him with a highly threatening new single-target killing thod.
In summary, he now possesses three types of spatial magic.
[space distortion] responsible for large-scale group attacks and area suppression; [space stabilization] responsible for defense, blockade, and counteraction; [phase shift] and its derivative [spatial slash] focuses on concealnt, mobility, and deadly single-target assassinations.
Attack, defense, control, stealth, a relatively complete spatial tactical system has begun to take shape.
Jeming felt quite satisfied with this result; the hundred years of diligent study hadn’t been in vain.
However, along with satisfaction, a new thought surfaced in his mind.
Since spatial magic involves operations at the rules level, its energy structure and operational logic are extrely special and precise.
He found himself unable to simply use the "talisman" techniques from the Cultivation Immortality system to significantly absorb external elental power for effect enhancent, as done with ordinary energy-type magic.
"With the instability of spatial techniques, recklessly using talisman enhancents for elental energy input would greatly increase the chance of technique failure, and even if forced to succeed, the effect could be less than the original. But..."
Jeming rubbed his chin, eyes flickering: "The Cultivation Immortality system is broad and profound; besides talismans, it seems there are other things that could be useful, such as... so array principles involving space application, or unique understanding of ’void’ ’mustard seed’ concepts... I recall seeing it in so book..."
He seed to see a new fusion path, preparing to explore deeply.
But before Jeming could dive deep into his consciousness, his portable Magic Network Terminal suddenly emitted a unique and familiar pulse.
Jeming instinctively glanced over—it’s a ssage from Professor Clark.
Jeming’s brow subtly moved; he had to temporarily suppress his desire to explore spatial Cultivation Immortality techniques and turn his attention to his ntor’s ssage.
