The solution... It turned out to be that simple.
Jeming stood in the center of the laboratory, looking at the dozens of blueprints and data boards spread out on the workbench, a blend of realization and self-mockery on his face.
These drawings densely recorded the various complex plans he had designed over the past decade to solve the "energy dispersion" problem—multi-layer energy focusing arrays, dynamic collapsing force fields, phase overlay interference models...
Each consud a great deal of his effort, each attempting to forcibly constrain the overloaded energy with more intricate and complex "control structures."
But now, in the ultra-frequency thinking state brought on by Incense Fire Divine Power, he clearly saw the other side of the problem—or rather, he had entirely fallen into a fixed mindset before.
"What I always thought was... how to use the Cultivation Immortality System’s ability to manipulate external Spiritual Qi to enhance the power of witchcraft."
This approach itself was not wrong, and indeed, it was the most straightforward path to fuse the two power systems.
Simply put, it was utilizing the cultivator’s innate advantages in mobilizing environntal energy to "overcharge" the witchcraft model originally based on "leverage multiplier," thereby generating destructive power far beyond design specifications.
But that’s like forcibly installing an engine that can output speeds of five hundred kiloters per hour into a car designed for a top speed of two hundred kiloters per hour.
The engine’s power indeed increased, but the car’s suspension, brakes, tires, aerodynamic structure... all couldn’t withstand it.
Although Jeming reinforced all other aspects with his knowledge, when the power was overwhelmingly strong, the result was either losing control and overturning or most of the power being wasted in aningless friction, heat, and structural loss.
The "load limit" of the witchcraft model depends on Jeming’s reserve of relevant knowledge, the precision of Spiritual Power control, and the structural stability of the witchcraft model itself.
When the energy input from the Cultivation Immortality System exceeds this limit, the situation from the previous test field occurs: the power seems grand but is actually dispersed and inefficient, with a large amount of energy wasted.
To solve this problem, theoretically, there are only two paths: either enhance the overall performance of the witchcraft model to match stronger power or... change the approach.
"Completely reverse the thinking, using the wizard’s thod of leveraging elental multiplier to strengthen the cultivator’s magic."
A gleam flickered in Jeming’s eyes.
These two paths seem similar but are fundantally different.
The core of the first path is "strengthening existing structures," while the core of the second is "reconstructing output modes."
The technical difficulty of the first approach is relatively low, rely requiring a Rune module in the Cultivation Immortality System suitable for "absorbing external Spiritual Qi" that aligns with the basic energy laws of the Wizard World, then adding corresponding "energy absorbing ports" and "overload enhancent structures" to the existing witchcraft model.
This is essentially an "expansion" and "optimization" of the existing technology, a "simple" operation that even wizard apprentices can achieve through exhaustive thods.
But the technical content of the second thod is much higher.
First, it requires a complete "localization transformation" of magic originally entirely dependent on Spiritual Qi and following the energy circulation rules of the Cultivation Immortality World.
One must parse its energy operation core logic, then use the Rune system and elental manipulation theories of the Wizard World to reconstruct a new spell model with the sa function but driven by "Elental Power."
Next, all those knowledge and techniques mastered as a wizard for "leveraging Elental Power multiplier"—such as specific Rune combinations, resonance arrays, and law interference techniques—must be customized for each transford spell model in a "strengthened design."
This involves deep optimization of the spell energy pathways, extre improvent of elental transformation efficiency, and precise adjustnt of the output structure.
Simply put, this is almost equivalent to "tailoring" a brand new witchcraft-enhanced version that integrates wizard enhancent technology for each cultivator’s magic requiring augntation.
Besides the principles of energy operation already outlined, this is essentially no different from creating new witchcraft, with difficulty undoubtedly skyrocketing.
However, after Jeming carefully assessed it, he found that given his current technical level, although this path was arduous, it was "feasible."
More crucially, this path fundantally avoids the fatal issue of "control power failing to keep up with energy input."
Because the entire enhancent process is "endogenous": the spell model itself inherently possesses the ability to efficiently utilize large amounts of power, not requiring Jeming to perform ultra-high precision overload control at the mont of casting.
He just needs to activate it like normal casting, and the subsequent energy circulation, multiplier enhancent, power focus will be completed by the model itself.
"Hoo..."
Jeming let out a long breath, quickly recording the torrent of inspirations in his mind onto the "Magic Network Terminal" beside him.
This terminal, connected to the central database of his Inner Grotto Heaven, could directly transform the complex structural diagrams, Rune sequences, energy formulas from his intention into storable and retrievable data models.
With the last inspiration recorded, he gazed at the densely packed new design proposals on the terminal, feeling quite satisfied with the effects of the Incense Fire Divine Power.
This "thinking overclocking" state was simply magical when it ca to breaking through research bottlenecks and acquiring critical insights.
However, when he habitually glanced at the ti display in the terminal’s corner, his brow involuntarily furrowed.
"Has it been... a whole day?"
From when he started using Incense Fire Divine Power to the burst of inspiration, recording completion, it seed only a few hours had passed.
But the terminal clearly showed that real-world ti had elapsed by twenty-four standard hours.
He imdiately called up the lab’s terminal control system log.
The log showed that after the injection of Incense Fire Divine Power, his brainwave activity intensity soared more than eight hundredfold in a very short ti and maintained this peak level for twenty-two hours before beginning to slowly decline.
During the entire process, his tabolic rate and energy consumption level also simultaneously skyrocketed to several hundred tis the normal state.
"No wonder..." Jeming rubbed his sowhat swollen temples, "Thinking was too active, inspiration flowed endlessly, completely imrsed, unaware of the passage of ti."
This revealed a significant flaw in the "Divine Communion" state of Incense Fire Divine Power: it greatly distorts the user’s subjective perception of ti.
In such a state of uncontrollable ergence of thoughts, the user’s perception of the external situation becos extraordinarily dull.
"Moreover..." Jeming continued going through the logs and analyzing those inspirations he just recorded, "There’s another more hidden problem."
He reassessed those design proposals born in the overclocking state.
Initially, he felt extrely satisfied, but now, calming down, and examining them at a normal thinking speed, he quickly noticed apparent logical gaps or insufficient consideration of certain boundary conditions in many places.
"Overly active thinking causes a continuous ergence of thoughts, an incredibly fast thinking speed, but also an unintentional disregard of so ’minor details,’" Jeming analyzed while correcting an error in the Rune arrangent of an energy focusing array.
"And many tis, it is precisely these detail issues that determine the feasibility and stability of the entire plan."
He recalled the records in the Great Dao Book Pavilion about Incense Fire Divine Power aiding cultivation, clearly stating, "Divine Communion can yield fleeting insights, yet thoughts like tides, prone to errors. Thus, it can only be a guide, not fully trusted."
Now he completely understood the aning of this sentence.
"Only usable as a tool for providing inspiration, not for accelerating thinking during combat or research... But just this one function is powerful enough." Jeming shook his head, yet did not show a trace of disappointnt.
Being able to break through the fixed mindset that had troubled him for so long and find a completely new research direction was already a trendous gain.
The lapses in those designs needed to be step-by-step corrected and improved in subsequent experints anyway.
He stood up and walked towards another area of the laboratory.
Since he had a new idea, the next step was to validate it with practice.
