Jeming continued to delve deep along the barren land covered with red minerals.

His main focus remained on searching for those rare and unique material samples, not paying much attention to the indigenous people.

Just as Jeming was imrsed in his treasure hunt, the battlefields across the Gray Rock Realm suddenly turned brutal.

"Quick! There's a High Score Card here!" A young apprentice excitedly pointed to the golden glimr on a dead tree ahead.

This seven-mber team cautiously approached.

With the ownerless Points Cards cleared, the remaining Points Cards were mostly placed beside those dangerous Magical Beasts.

But such Points Cards had higher scores, representing greater benefits.

In pursuit of greater benefits, apprentices who originally worked alone gradually began to team up, and those who were already tead up continuously recruited more mbers to expand their teams.

These seven were considered quite talented "geniuses" in the academy, and after a few days of cooperation, their teamwork beca seamless.

However, the attack did not co from Magical Beasts.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Dozens of arrows dipped in fluorescent poison pierced through the air, whistling sharply from all directions.

The arrows were not ordinary tal but so kind of bone, with a faint, visible energy fluctuation attached.

"Scatter! It's an ambush!" the captain roared, swiftly raising an Energy Shield.

Still, several apprentices couldn't react in ti and were hit by the poison arrows.

Their movents instantly froze, faces turning ashen, with strange totem patterns appearing on their bodies.

"Damn it! It's the indigenous people!"

From bushes and rock crevices, dozens of indigenous warriors clad in armor, wielding tal spears, charged out.

Their bodies instantly swelled, muscles tensing, moving with incredible speed, their eyes burning with the fire of revenge.

"Attack!"

The apprentices quickly responded, casting Fireballs and Ice Spikes in retaliation.

But the indigenous people did not linger in battle; they dashed quickly like a pack of wolves, throwing javelins, then imdiately dispersed, using the complex terrain to skirmish with the apprentices.

"Captain, my… my Teleportation Rune has failed!" a poisoned apprentice shouted in horror, the rune in his hand dull and completely unactivatable.

"My Flying Skill isn't working either! They actually have a No-fly Zone ability!"

Panic erupted instantly.

Without the trump cards for escape, the apprentices were like trapped beasts in a cage, being slowly worn down under the indigenous people's pursuit.

tal spears tore through shields, poison arrows penetrated magic power, and the continuous screams declared the defeat of the apprentices.

On the other side.

A four-apprentice exploration team, when venturing into a canyon soaked with Elental Power, found themselves cornered at the bottom by a dozen indigenous "knights" clad in heavy armor, wielding giant axes.

"Their armor can actually resist our Witchcraft!" an apprentice exclaid in surprise, as the Fireball he cast on a knight only sparked a few embers, leaving no scorch marks.

"Damn it! There are actually indigenous people in this world!" another apprentice realized the dire situation.

The knights wasted no words and charged directly.

The ground beneath their feet groaned with power, each leap carried an overwhelming force.

Bang!

A Water Elent Shield was shattered by a heavy axe blow, sending the apprentice behind it flying, spitting blood.

"Retreat! Charge upwards!" the captain shouted, activating the Flying Skill.

However, his body only rose a few ters before being forcibly suppressed by an invisible force, unable to escape the canyon!

Soone tried to activate a ring, only to find it had no effect.

"The space... is locked?!" The apprentices were completely bewildered.

Their magic power was depleting rapidly, unable to keep up with the rate of injury.

Panic and despair quickly spread in the bloody canyon.

...

...

Jeming was deep within a strange swamp at this mont.

Beneath the marshland lay a peculiar fungus capable of absorbing Elental Energy, an excellent material for research, which kept him there for quite so ti.

Suddenly, a commotion ca from the depths of the marsh.

Four "hunters" ard with bows and two armored "knights" leaped out from the mud, spears pointed directly at Jeming.

They were clearly lying in ambush, waiting for prey to pass by.

"Huh?"

Jeming stood curiously in place, still holding a mushroom he just picked, looking like he was stunned by the sudden attack.

A knight roared, his spear thrusting with a piercing sound straight at Jeming's face.

Buzz!

A solid, earthy yellow shield instantly ford around him.

Clang!

The spear clashed with the shield, producing a crisp tallic sound, but the shield remained unmoved. The recoil even made the knight's body tremble violently.

Another knight swung a giant axe horizontally at Jeming's waist, but to no avail.

However, the real killing blow was yet to co, as four arrows glinting with a faint glow closed in on his head.

With just a thought, Jeming switched the Earth Elent Shield to a transparent wind mbrane.

The force carried by the arrows was skillfully deflected, whistling past Jeming without causing any harm.

"How... how is this possible?!" The knights' eyes flashed with shock.

Their proud strength and enhanced magic weapons were completely ineffective against this Wizard?!

Jeming didn't give them much ti to ponder.

Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle!

Four Fireballs, cloaked in fierce flas, instantly locked onto the six indigenous people, their explosive range completely covering them in the narrow marsh area.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Violent explosions echoed continuously, and flas soared into the sky, turning the swamp into a scene of purgatory.

Mud splattered, charred flesh flew.

The indigenous people didn't even have ti to scream before being completely obliterated by the terrifying power of the Talisman Witchcraft, reduced to ashes.

Jeming stepped forward, carefully searching through the wreckage in the swamp.

He picked up a few pieces of mud-covered tal armor and dug out so relatively intact bone spears, using the Deciphering Skill to scan the residual energy fluctuations on them.

"These patterns... seem to be a rather primitive rune, quite suited to this world, actually quite valuable for reference..." Jeming muttered to himself, completely ignoring the blood scent perating the air.

He felt no sense of danger; these indigenous people were as fragile as children in his presence.

"But haven't the indigenous attacks been more frequent lately? I've encountered three ambushes in just the past two days. Could it be that there's a large gathering point nearby, and they see as a threat?"

Jeming sensed that recent ambushes were exceptionally frequent, and the enemies were more coordinated than before.

"I'd better search around; if I find a gathering point, I might gain so knowledge about these primitive runes."

He stored the newly acquired materials and continued towards the depths of the swamp.

The "weakness" of the enemies left Jeming completely unaware that a cleansing operation targeting all Wizard Apprentices was in full swing outside.
