In short, pouring the Talent Transformation Potion isn't particularly troubleso work; often, many would directly assign Demonic Puppets or artificial beings to carry it out.
However, Jeming had the advantage of being able to listen to reason. Once he confird that Professor Clark harbored no ill intentions, he did not resist much and set off imdiately after accepting the task.
He piloted the dispersal machinery provided by the academy, a streamlined small floating vessel equipped with an automatic dispersal device and an energy detection system.
Following the coordinates provided by the professor, he steadily flew towards the designated area.
As the floating vessel slowly descended, he saw a small team approaching to greet him, led by a local lord dressed in splendid attire.
When he caught sight of the lord's face, Jeming paused slightly, his pupils constricting suddenly.
He recognized this lord!
For they had t a few tis before; it was this very lord who had sent him to Nolun Academy!
The region he was responsible for turned out to be his holand in this world!
"...Hey! Though a bit stoic, the professor is actually a good person." After a brief silence, Jeming couldn't help but grin.
It was only at this mont that Jeming truly understood Professor Clark's intention in assigning him this task.
A year later, he would participate in the tests organized by Nolun Workshop for hundreds of academies.
Though the exact reason and purpose were unclear, given the sudden proposal by Nolun Workshop to conduct these tests and the mandatory return of High Tier Wizards and apprentices, those who passed the test were likely to be part of so other arrangent.
Even though he had always been modest, Jeming wouldn't underestimate himself. While it was uncertain if he could take first place in that test, passing it was definitely not a problem.
Judging by Nolun Workshop's intensity, those who passed the test would probably not return to the Nolun13th Plane again, and they might not even co back during resting periods.
Even if he could return later, it might be a long ti before he could do so, and his parents were just ordinary people who might have passed away by then.
Therefore, Professor Clark arranged this task for him, in an ostensibly business-like manner, giving him a last chance to see his family before leaving this plane.
Though not fond of smiling, the professor inadvertently showed a humane concern.
However, upon realizing this fact, Jeming found that his emotions were unexpectedly calm.
Without rushing ho, Jeming first handled the formalities with the local lord, who then took him to engage in so academic exchanges at the laboratory.
Only after four or five days on the task did Jeming bid farewell to the lord and reach the area where his hotown was located, following the dispersal schedule.
Utilizing the intervals during potion dispersal, under the pretext of needing to recharge energy, he landed the floating vessel on the edge of a nearby town before visiting his parents.
The eting with his family was even more uneventful than Jeming had anticipated.
As he pushed open the familiar wooden door, he noticed that his parents had aged a bit, but they were still in relatively good health.
They showed a hint of surprise and joy at Jeming's return, but this joy wasn't overly fervent.
After all, across the entire plane, under the intentional control of the wizards for "population optimization," residents were encouraged to diligently bear children.
Even ordinary farrs had five or six children in their families, supported by abundant food supplies and an excellent dical system.
In families like Jeming's, who were small rchants with more resources, they could raise even more children.
At least before Jeming left, there were already seven or eight siblings in his family.
By the ti he returned, this number had surged to a dozen or more.
So when Jeming opened the door, before his eyes was the sight of many children playing in the yard.
To his parents, Jeming, having left ho a few years ago, was rely one of their many children, a child who had "left ho to seek adventures."
They were pleased with his success but were not overwheld by sorrow at his departure or excitent at the reunion. There was even an inexplicable sense of estrangent.
As for the other siblings, they were indifferent to this odd brother who loved playing with sticks.
And Jeming himself, having already possessed the consciousness of an adult and experienced the baptism of the extraordinary world, was no longer emotionally attached to mundane familial ties.
For the parents who had raised him, he naturally harbored a sense of gratitude deep down, but he couldn't evoke much sadness over parting.
Though he had pondered whether he would feel sadness before his arrival, that feeling vanished completely upon eting them.
While regrettable, it wasn't overwhelmingly sad—much like in his previous life, when a friend he'd played with suddenly ceased contact, only to be rembered randomly one day.
Since he was taken to the academy by the lord, Jeming's family had suddenly received many "noble" subsidies—these were the scholarships and hidden aids for wizard apprentices.
With these subsidies, Jeming's father transitioned from a small rchant to a prominent businessman in the town.
The family wealth flourished, life was comfortable, and he even took on a few more "companions."
So overall, Jeming's sudden return didn't stir significant emotions within the family. It was the few young companions his father recently found who showed nervousness in their eyes.
Currently, in the Nolun13th Plane, the extraordinary powers are strictly confidential to ordinary people.
They thought Jeming was favored by the nobility and beca a guest (or even a plaything) of the lord, thus holding inherent awe for these "nobles."
Seeing that Jeming had returned this ti without any entourage or carriage, they worried whether Jeming had angered the lord and was expelled, or if he had escaped privately.
Either scenario might an their family wouldn't enjoy such a good life anymore.
So not long after entering, as Jeming sat down for a short while, he received a bureaucratic report from the local officials via the communicator, humorously informing him that one of the companions had reported his whereabouts.
At that mont, Jeming truly realized they were no longer of the sa world.
Because of this, Jeming did not stay ho long. He rely exchanged a few casual words with his parents and a few siblings, leaving them so gold coins.
Then he returned to the floating vessel to continue completing the remaining potion dispersal tasks.
As the floating vessel traced an arc in the sky, evenly dispersing the diluted Talent Transformation Potion onto the ground, Jeming felt calm yet conflicted.
He knew that this land would, under the transformation of the Wizard Civilization, step by step head toward a completely different future.
In any case, Jeming was very grateful to his ntor Clark for giving him this opportunity.
He was already growing distant from this mundane ho; his path lay in the depths of the stars, beyond the extraordinary.
