"Exactly." Jeming nodded, "Although there isn't a large wizard force in the northeast direction, it's close to a wilderness and mountain range with little intelligent life. The complex terrain in the mountains is more suitable for us to hide and rest."
As for taking a longer route, it's not a big issue for the wizards.
What happened next went exactly as planned.
During their breakout, Jeming and his team deliberately caused a commotion, crushing several orc squads trying to chase them with overwhelming power, and intentionally left clear traces to create the illusion they were breaking out southward.
Then, they quickly moved on foot, going in the completely opposite direction to further confuse their enemies.
But these were rely decoys.
After completely shaking off the pursuing orcs, they used the Flying Skill to fly quickly at low altitude toward the direction with the weakest troop deploynt according to intel, finally leaving this turmoil behind.
Five days later, as a bloody red sunset struggled against the distant horizon, they finally reached the safe zone Jeming had selected—a vast plain on the edge of a rugged mountain range.
There seed to be little sign of intelligent life activity here, with the air filled with the scent of sand and soil.
"Finally... we made it." Using Alchemy to create a wind-blocking rock wall, Amy sat down on the ground with a sigh of relief, the fatigue on her face slowly giving way to relaxation. "It's so quiet here."
Victor also relaxed, leaning against a withered tree trunk, closing his eyes to steady his breathing.
Jeming connected the previously placed Eye of the Micro-Light with the Five Elents Rainbow Transformation Mirror, confird everything was fine, and sat down as well.
"Have you ever thought about one issue?" After resting for a mont, Amy suddenly spoke up, her voice tinged with curiosity.
"When we entered this place, we only carried our own supplies. It seems the Workshop didn't prepare any instrunts for recording our achievents, and the Plane Barrier is forcibly sealed. So how are they supposed to record what we did here, and how do they calculate our Contribution Points?"
Victor opened his eyes, frowning in thought: "Yes, I've been pondering that too. Are we expected to report back ourselves? That's too simplistic; how could it ensure fairness?"
Jeming didn't answer, but hearing their questions, his eyes had a subtle shift.
Actually, he was also curious about this issue. He initially thought that at the mont of entering this plane, those wizards would implant sothing on them.
But after days of inspection… there seed to be nothing.
Suddenly, he looked up, his gaze fixed on the sky.
At that mont, a low and grand humming sound suddenly ca from the distant sky—not thunder or magic bombardnt, but more like a vibration that resonated through the entire atmosphere.
This vibration moved from afar to encompass the area where they stood.
The three of them stood up instinctively, looking up at the sky.
In the sky, a brilliant light suddenly tore through the dim firmant, as if a deep rift was ripped open by an invisible giant hand!
From that rift, a surging power gushed forth, and soon after, the phantoms of the Divine Spirits reappeared.
As before, their forms were imnse and imposing, with majestic Divine Power, charging unhesitatingly toward the rift.
And from that rift, the vague shadow of a wizard also erged simultaneously.
This shadow emitted a mysterious and profound wave; it seed to have no intention of directly clashing with the Divine Spirits but was rapidly drawing strange Runes in mid-air while resisting their attack.
The battle between the two sides erupted instantly, with Laws and Divine Power colliding, causing the sky to distort as if about to collapse.
However, amidst this fierce conflict, an invisible and mighty wave, like a tsunami, swept across the entire Elorcia Plane, centered on the torn rift in the sky!
This wave was silent, yet carried a clear sensation directly impacting the Soul.
Jeming felt his Sea of Spirit clear, and then a vast and clear stream of information, as if epiphany, flooded into his mind!
At that mont, Jeming, Amy, Victor, and all the Wizard Apprentices placed in the Elorcia Plane, their expressions turned peculiar.
They understood.
This is how the Workshop records and calculates Contribution Points!
That wizard shadow was, unmistakably, a Seventh Level High Tier Wizard specializing in Destiny Elent!
That invisible and mighty wave, the mont he tore the Plane Barrier, scanned the entire Plane under the Law of Destiny!
He wasn't scanning material objects but each wizard's cause and effect and destiny trajectory.
Every action taken by a Wizard Apprentice in the Plane, and every impact on the Plane's Laws, were clearly recorded under that destiny wave and quantified into "Contribution Points."
This thod allows for precise calculation and prevents any cheating possibility.
Moreover, after gathering all the intelligence, the wizard collated and directly made it public to all apprentices.
An information stream condensed in all apprentices' consciousness, and a glowing "Scroll" abruptly appeared in everyone's mind.
It listed thousands of nas and their corresponding Contribution Points.
The first line of the Scroll was "Nolun Workshop Elorcia Plane Total Contribution Points Leaderboard"—this was the so-called Contribution Points Leaderboard!
Amy looked at the leaderboard that appeared out of nowhere in her mind and muttered in disbelief, "This…is this even possible?! Directly scanning destiny?"
Victor appeared dazed, then a wry smile appeared on his face, "A Seventh Level Destiny Mage… such a thod, truly unheard of. No wonder the Workshop is so bold..."
"Ah!!"
At this mont, the wizard shadow in the sky let out a tragic and mournful wail amid the Divine Spirits' siege.
His form quickly blurred, transforming into specks of light, disappearing into the sky like snowflakes.
—He once again "feigned death" to escape.
But before he completely vanished, a ssage was transmitted through the destiny network into all apprentices' minds.
"The leaderboard has been updated, next update: in one month."
"... Hahaha... As expected of a High Tier Wizard, his performance is much better than the previous ones..."
Watching the slowly dissipating shadow in the sky, after a mont of silence, Jeming's lips twitched, and he finally spoke.
"Haha... indeed..."
Amy and Victor snapped back to reality, sowhat blankly echoing his sentint.
