I didn’t dare to think about it further. I was only certain that if the object below were to erge, it would be absolutely world-shaking. Even the Saints within the Holy Realm wouldn’t be able to sit still.
"Should we go down?" asked Xiang Kunlun, the Chief of the Blade Sect, his expression excited and his eyes gleaming.
The other disciples were the sa, their breathing growing ragged as they yearned to enter the fissure. If there truly was a world-altering opportunity below, they would benefit imnsely even if they only managed to get a small piece of it. They had entered the Holy Realm for the sake of such opportunities, after all. Now that they were the first to find this treasure land and had earned the right to reach for it, how could they possibly retreat? Doing so would fill them with a lifeti of regret. In the future, the mory would cloud their Dao hearts and obstruct their will, making any further progress difficult!
"If we’re going down, we need to make so preparations. We can’t be fighting at the front only to get ambushed from behind!" Xiao Yu had a cautious personality. Even though he was just as eager as the others, he was still able to think rationally.
Wang Xiu mused for a mont. "I actually have a way. I can temporarily restore the Natural Ancient Formation to conceal this secret location. That should buy us a significant amount of ti!"
Xiao Yu’s pupils trembled. "Are you serious?"
He stared at Wang Xiu as if looking at a monster. To be able to decipher a Natural Ancient Formation at such a young age already made him a monster among monsters. But to be able to restore it... his skill could no longer be described with the word ’prodigy.’ He treated a Natural Ancient Formation as if it were a toy. Perhaps only a reincarnated immortal deity from ancient myths could compare to him. Just what kind of freak has the Divination Sect produced?
"It’s worth a shot!" Wang Xiu said, his gaze shifting as he held out his hand. "Senior Brother Xiao, could I borrow so array flags?"
Xiao Yu was stunned for a mont, but then he handed over all the array flags on his person without the slightest hesitation.
Wang Xiu’s own set of array flags was only at the level of a Superior Magic Artifact. While not weak, it was gradually failing to keep up with his progress. As the Chief of the Formation Sect, however, Xiao Yu’s wealth was naturally extraordinary. His set of Xuan Yuan Six Harmonies Formation Flags, thirty-six pieces in total, was extrely potent and comparable to a Superior Spirit Instrunt.
Wang Xiu handled them for a mont, quite satisfied. Looks like I’ll have to think about forging a new set of array flags for myself when I get back.
He had previously used the Supre Sensing Chapter to perceive the mysteries of the Natural Ancient Formation, unraveling the Ancient Formation layer by layer until he solved it. The experience had been profoundly enriching, and the deep comprehension was still fresh in his mind.
Although I can’t restore this Ancient Formation completely, temporarily resealing this area shouldn’t be a problem.
First, he dismantled the Four Symbols Evildoer-Banishing Guardian Formation he had previously arranged. Then, he began forming hand seals.
Thirty-six array flags flew out, gleaming like silver in the void as they constantly shifted their positions. A brilliant light shone from his eyes as endless runic radiance surged into the heavens, obscuring the sky and sun. The sight was so dazzling it seed as if several new suns had appeared in the firmant.
BUZZ. BUZZ. BUZZ.
A dense thrumming sound echoed from the void, as if soone from a forgotten age was whispering in their ears. It made their hearts race and their bodies stiffen with the feeling of being watched by the Ancient Gods.
"Let virtue be subli and power vast; let the body rge with nature, its form walk the Three Mountains. Let the great na be filled with mystery, and from it, erge the spirit of wisdom!"
Wang Xiu’s lips barely moved, emitting a low chant that sounded like the whispers of an Ancient God. The world fell completely silent. Only the sound of his voice remained, resonating like the supre sound of the Dao itself. It filled them with a sense of yearning, and an irrepressible, devout reverence rose from the depths of their hearts, compelling them to kneel and worship.
Xiao Yu was srized, holding his breath and concentrating, trying to learn sothing from the spectacle. After only a few monts of watching, however, his head began to spin, and he almost collapsed, his face turning pale.
The profundity within it was completely beyond what he could currently grasp. These were the Words of the Dao that Wang Xiu had comprehended from the Natural Ancient Formation—every single one a pearl of wisdom, imbued with imnse divine power.
In that instant, sacred light filled the void from all directions. Countless laws of order recoiled from the distance and surged back, as if ti itself were reversing. It was like watching tens of thousands of sealing talismans, which had already broken free, being recalled by Wang Xiu’s supre command of the Way of Formations.
The next mont, the celestial phenona receded. The constantly expanding fissure healed with incredible speed, leaving only a thin crack behind.
Wang Xiu cried out, "Go!"
As the word left his lips, he was the first to leap into the crack. The others scrambled to follow.
Imdiately after, the vast, shimring aura swirled back into place. The surroundings returned to how they had been upon arrival. Nothing looked out of the ordinary, yet an air of strangeness perated everything.
「...」
"Junior Brother Wang Xiu, you really did it?"
On the other side of the fissure was a dimly lit passage. It was clearly in another dinsion, an empty space where it seed nothing existed. It resembled the primordial Chaos of legend, a blanket of fog so thick that nothing could be seen clearly. The only point of light was behind them, in the direction they had co from. A circular seal pulsed with an arcane glow, spinning constantly and wreathed in a shimring mist.
Xiao Yu was utterly shocked, his face flushed with excitent. Wang Xiu had actually managed to restore such a magnificent and terrifying Natural Ancient Formation. Even though Xiao Yu hadn’t perford this incredible feat himself, witnessing it with his own eyes filled him with a sense of shared honor. It was an event he would rember for the rest of his life.
Wang Xiu gazed at the circular seal, his expression not entirely relaxed. "My cultivation is still shallow, so the seal’s restoration isn’t complete. It still has a small crack, and... as ti passes, that crack will grow larger. Sooner or later, it will collapse again. Our ti is limited!"
Since I’ve already forced this place open, it can’t possibly return to its original state. The fissure will only get bigger.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!" The others’ eyes lit up with excitent as they hurried forward.
This entire space was chaotic, and they seed to be trapped in an endless fog. Yet, they could clearly sense that the Spiritual Energy in the air was terrifyingly dense.
