Just then, an ethereal voice rang in her ear.
Ye Miedie jolted, sitting up in bed and looking around alertly. "Who?"
This was the headquarters of the Asura Sect.
Furthermore, her residence was considered forbidden ground within the Asura Sect, guarded by Demon Cultivators at the Saint Manifestation level.
Who could have possibly gotten in?

A figure appeared in the room. He looked like an ordinary Scholar and regarded Ye Miedie with a faint smile. "What? Don’t you recognize after two years?"
As soon as he finished speaking, his form shifted, transforming into a middle-aged man. Then, in the blink of an eye, he changed four or five more tis. Ye Miedie couldn’t spot a single flaw; it was as if a wisp of blue smoke was shifting before her, changing at will.
"Is it you?" Ye Miedie was slightly stunned, and then her eyes lit up. Speak of the devil!
She had just been thinking of the Formless Demon, and in the next mont, he was standing right before her.
"Where have you been these past two years? I’ve been looking all over for you!" Ye Miedie said excitedly, stepping forward to grab the Formless Demon’s hand. She jumped up and down, boasting, "Look! I’ve been practicing the true path of seeking the demonic that you told about. I’ve already saved a lot of weak people!"
The Little Witch was cheerful and lively, her impressive figure jiggling with astonishing curves.
The Formless Demon watched her without distraction, a smile on his face. "Of course, I know. Although I’ve been busy with other things these past two years, I haven’t stopped paying attention to you. You’ve done very well—even better than I expected!"
"Really?" The Little Witch tilted her head, her spirited eyes seeming to shine.
"Mm-hm."
"But why did you just say that I’m still far from it?" Ye Miedie suddenly rembered, pressing him for an answer.
"Although you’ve made significant achievents, those results are fragile, like a candle in the wind, easily snuffed out," the Formless Demon said.
"How can that be?" Ye Miedie asked, finding it hard to believe.
The Formless Demon said, "I ca from the shores of the East Sea, where I saw many fishing villages that have erected statues of you. To show their gratitude for your protection, they make offerings to you day and night!"
He recounted what he had seen. There were many such places, and Ye Miedie had already amassed a great many followers.
"Really?" Ye Miedie was thrilled. It was the first ti she had heard of such a thing, and a sense of accomplishnt swelled in her chest. Then, she grew even more puzzled. "Isn’t that a good thing?"
"It would have been, but an unexpected problem has co up. The faction from Demon Sea Island intends to invade this world!"
"I know about that..." Ye Miedie fell silent.
"You should be very clear about what they want to do. If they succeed, every living being in this world, including your followers, will face calamity!" Wang Xiu said, his tone serious as he quietly activated "Da ng Zhong Jue".
"How dare they? The magnificent Lady Ye Miedie will protect her people!" Ye Miedie declared, completely oblivious. She puffed out her chest, her impressive bust held high, and bared her small canine teeth with conviction.
"Can you protect them?" Wang Xiu ruthlessly poured cold water on her enthusiasm. "How can you fend off those people with just the subordinates you have in the Asura Sect?"
Ye Miedie was at a loss for words. At heart, she was still a child, absorbed in her own affairs and not one to think so far ahead.
"As a descendant of the Destruction Heaven Demon and the daughter of the Rakshasa Supre, you were born destined to be the Great Demon God’s consort! You have co to this world and gathered followers. How can you allow this realm to be defiled by others, especially a group of failures who have been beaten back ti and again? This world should belong to you!" Wang Xiu continued his careful persuasion.
Ye Miedie blinked her large eyes, feeling that Wang Xiu was making a lot of sense.
"You’re right!" Ye Miedie nodded before putting on a pitiful expression. "But the great Lady Butterfly is still young and can’t beat them..."
"The humans have a saying: ’When you get to the mountain, there’ll be a way through.’ You have other options," Wang Xiu said with a smile.
"You an... I should signal my Queen Mother to co help?" Ye Miedie asked, tilting her head.
"COUGH, COUGH, COUGH..." Wang Xiu’s face twitched as he hurriedly replied, "Of course not!"
I haven’t even dealt with the band of demon lords from Demon Sea Island yet.

"Oh, right! I can’t let my Queen Mother know!" Ye Miedie had a mont of realization and nodded repeatedly. "But what else can I do?"

"The Human Race?"
"That’s right. The Human Race is, by all accounts, the greatest power in this world. They are very strong. With your help, they could solve the Demon Sea Island problem with ease!" Wang Xiu said.
"I am a noble descendant of a Heavenly Demon, destined to be the Great Demon God’s consort. Ask the Human Race for help? Wouldn’t that be beneath ?" Ye Miedie arched an eyebrow, her gaze flickering as she pouted arrogantly.
"The humans have a saying: ’Those who would achieve great things don’t sweat the small stuff.’ To beco a Great Demon God, strength alone is not enough. You need an extraordinary mindset and wisdom! You’ll never succeed if you can’t endure a mont of humiliation!" Wang Xiu lectured.
"More human sayings? Why do humans have so many?" Ye Miedie eyed him skeptically. "You’re a Formless Demon. How do you know so much about human sayings?"

Wang Xiu paused for a mont, then said with a perfectly composed expression, "You’re still young; there is much you don’t understand. In truth, though many in the Demon Race would never admit it, humans... are an incredibly wise race. While they may be born weak, lacking various Divine Skills and talents, they possess great ingenuity and can often grasp truths that other races cannot."
