One after another, treasure ships and war chariots burst forth from the passageway. They emitted an intense light, their runes as dazzling as suns, as they streaked across the sky with overwhelming montum to invade Demon Sea Island.
Each vessel exuded a powerful aura that intimidated all in its path, its might comparable to a Superior Spirit Instrunt. Onboard, the disciples of the Immortal Sect stood ready in tight formation, gripping various Magical Treasures. The atmosphere was grim and tense, their bodies brimming with intense battle lust as they charged.
BOOM!
The Demon Race reacted quickly as enormous figures tore through the void to appear.
There were colossal black Demon Birds that crossed thousands of miles of empty space with a single flap of their wings.
There were crimson magma giants with blood-red eyes that climbed from the depths of the Abyss. Towering hundreds of feet tall, they waved their hands, and massive flows of scorching lava eroded the void and spattered across the land, setting the ground ablaze until it turned into bubbling, red liquid. These were the Fla Demon Clan, a prominent Pureblood Demon Race known for their staggering combat prowess. They were born with the ability to manipulate Demon Flas, wielding the power to incinerate heaven and earth.
A silver-bodied and extrely irascible Demon Ape, its tail covered in spines, beat its chest. The booming sound was like the drumming of thunder, crushing countless Foreign Demons with its shockwaves.
"Insolent humans, you dare to invade?! Co and et your death!" the Demon Ape roared, its temper as explosive as thunder as it faced the oncoming fleet of ships and war chariots.
"Shut up, you noisy monkey! This Sword Venerable needs only one sword to take your dog head!" On a war chariot, a surge of sword light shot into the sky. A young man arrived, stepping on a sword and forming a sword seal with his hand, runes swirling around him. Endless sword shadows transford into twenty-four beams of sword light. Reflecting off each other, they linked together, resembling twenty-four heavens of boundless power.
[DING!]
[Detected soone boasting nearby. Congratulations to the Host for gaining 233 Mana!]
That young man was none other than Li Zuoyue. He had spent the recent months imrsed in the Soul Fighting Machine, continually honing his Sword Dao, and his strength had increased trendously. His mastery of the Heavenly Timing Sword Scripture was nearly perfect. He had even sparred with Zhang Yuge and others without being at a disadvantage. His fa skyrocketed, and he beca known to countless people.
ROAR—
The Demon Ape roared furiously. This puny human actually dared to insult him.
You’re the dog head! Your whole family are dog heads! I am the Sky-raging Demon Ape!
He leaped up, his body swelling to a size that surpassed mountains. He threw a punch of infinite power that shattered the void, causing countless mountains in its path to collapse in a world-shaking cataclysm.
Li Zuoyue maneuvered his sword across the sky, his speed incredibly fast. With a few flashes of sword light, he dodged the punch with the nimble grace of a cloud eclipsing the moon.
Then, man and sword moved as one. Beams of sword light slashed toward the Demon Ape from all directions, their sharpness intimidating.
"Rain Water!"
"Vernal Equinox!"
"Wake of Insects!"
"Pure Brightness!"
"..."
Twenty-four swords struck at once. The sword qi transford into an ocean, slashing at various parts of the Demon Ape’s body and leaving behind wounds so deep the bone was visible. The sky filled with sword qi as dense and unavoidable as a blizzard.
Shaless human! the Demon Ape raged internally, feeling utterly aggrieved. Didn’t you say you’d only use one sword? Fine, carry twenty-four swords with you if you want, but you’ve already unleashed hundreds, even thousands, of strikes in an instant! You’re bullying an honest ape!
It fought back desperately. Yet Li Zuoyue, despite his boasts, was not the least bit careless. He seed to be keenly aware of the Sky-raging Demon Ape’s characteristics, evading its deadly blows and using his own agility to relentlessly dodge its heavy attacks while inflicting wound after wound.
It was as if he were toying with a doll.
Before long, the Demon Ape was drenched in its own blood, looking as if it had been soaked in it. It was nearly driven mad, and very close to death.
SCREECH—
A shadow that blotted out the sun charged toward the human forces. It was a Demon Bird, seemingly of Kunpeng Bloodline, its entire body pitch-black and spanning thousands of miles. With a single flap of its wings, it whipped up a colossal hurricane and rushed toward the human army.
BOOM!
Purple lightning suddenly tore through the void, shattering the hurricane. The sky transford into a sea of lightning.
Amidst the boundless ocean of electric light, Zhang Yuge walked on thunder itself. His eyes shone as he stared at the Demon Bird. "A Black Moon Peng! You’ve co at just the right ti. This Saint Heir is best at slaughtering creatures like you!"
The Demon Bird frowned, eyeing the young man and assuming he was just spouting bravado. With a shriek, it flapped its wings and charged. Its talons were as sharp as supre treasures, capable of easily tearing mountains asunder.
But what it didn’t know was that all the human participants had already fought countless battles in the Soul Fighting Machine. Although it wasn’t a real battlefield, it was nearly indistinguishable from one. Thus, they were all intimately familiar with the characteristics and tactics of the more common Demon Race clans.
Zhang Yuge stood his ground, unflinching and suprely confident. He drew three Talismans and tossed them out. They ford a triangular seal that locked down the surrounding space, transforming it into a sea of thunder.
Before the Demon Bird could react, it crashed headfirst into the trap. Its body imdiately began to convulse as it lost control.
"Five Thunder Demon Subduing Seal!"
The next mont, Zhang Yuge appeared above the sea of thunder, landing on the Demon Bird’s back. He drew glowing golden symbols in the air with his own blood. The Firmant above them cracked open, and divine bolts of thunder were channeled downward, striking the Demon Bird’s body.
In an instant, the Demon Bird’s body exploded, raining blood down upon the world as it died on the spot.
Similar scenes played out all across the battlefield.
As these imnsely powerful Pureblood Demons clashed with the chosen ones of the Human Race, they all felt that sothing was wrong. Why did the opponent seem so familiar with them? It was as if their every move was being predicted.
"Damn it! It feels like they can see right through !"
"Weren’t humans supposed to be weak? How are their combat instincts so terrifying? This is our first ti fighting, but it’s like he knows better than my own mother!"
"This is ridiculous! I was about to feint a punch to trick that human, but really I was going to lash out with my tail blade. The mont my tail shot out, he grabbed it and ripped it clean off!"
"..."
The demons were going frantic. How were they supposed to fight this? They couldn’t land a single blow
