An axe ca from the west.
It shattered the endless darkness.
The Demonic Qi-filled Infinite Hell was cleaved in half.
A terrifying light flooded in. An unimaginable sharpness perated the light, forcing the hordes of demons to retreat in horror as they stared into the distance.
The giant axe returned through the void, landing in the hands of a woman. She was peerlessly elegant. Dressed in green, she possessed an impossibly slender waist and exquisite curves as she stepped out from the void.
Wherever she passed, clouds of Tribulation enveloped the area. Nurous bolts of Tribulation Thunder followed in her wake, like thousands of frenzied pythons in pursuit. Each bolt was terrifying enough to make any living creature tremble in fear.
Yet she did not dodge. The giant axe in her hand blocked them casually, as if she were brushing away a single leaf falling onto her shoulder. The lightning struck her axe like a drop of water hitting a stone, exploding instantly into endless sparks. A trail of sparks and a path of lightning marked her passage.
Her aura surged inexorably.
By the ti she arrived outside Demon Sea Island, she was bathed in celestial light. Her body was as pure as crystal, exuding a might that struck fear into the hearts of all who beheld her.
Wang Xiu exclaid joyfully, "Master!"
Joy also appeared on the faces of Zhuo Canglang and the others.
The newcor was none other than Luo Binglan, the Head of the Divination Sect. Back then, Wang Xiu had taught her parts of the mysteries of the Qing Emperor’s Longevity Scripture. After breaking out of her coffin, she had entered seclusion to break through to the Earth Immortal Realm.
Now, it appeared that she had succeeded.
Ye Huang’s eyebrows furrowed slightly. "It’s you?"
More than a decade ago, Luo Binglan had braved Demon Sea Island on her own, creating an enormous commotion before fleeing with heavy injuries. At that ti, Ye Huang was still healing in seclusion but retained so mory of the incident. He had not expected that after more than a decade, she would not only survive but also beco even stronger!
Luo Binglan’s expression was indifferent. Without the slightest pause, she swung her axe from above. A terrifying axe-light slashed toward the blood-red giant wall that sealed the entire world.
BOOM!
The blood mist churned like a torrential ocean wave. A crack was torn open, revealing a passage of light.
Everyone was startled. How powerful was this Great Abyssal Demonic Array? Could she really cleave it open with a single strike? Even the pupils of the Demon Emperors in the void contracted.
But soon, the blood mist roiled and surged, sealing the passage once more.
Luo Binglan’s brows furrowed slightly.
The main function of this formation was to prevent those on the island from escaping. It didn’t stop outsiders from entering, but once they were inside, it was nearly impossible to leave. Entering the island was easy for Luo Binglan, but cleaving open this blood-red wall to free the people of Zhenmo City was proving to be an entirely different level of difficulty.
Ye Huang breathed a sigh of relief. "It’s useless. This formation is forged from the lifeblood of countless mbers of my Demon Race. Let alone you, not even a True Immortal could break it!"
[Ding!]
[Bragging detected nearby. Congratulations, Host! You have obtained Mana 10,000!]
Just then, Wang Xiu suddenly called out, "Master, Jade Born Smoke!"
The crowd looked puzzled, not understanding his aning.
Only Luo Binglan’s eyes flickered with enlightennt, as if she had co to a realization. She swung her massive axe and struck again. This ti, she hurled the entire axe forward.
BOOM!
The ocean churned. The terrifying force rippled through the surrounding waters, kicking up waterspouts thousands of feet high until the sea and sky seed to rge.
The axe landed on the blood-red wall, embedding itself deeply within. The blood mist roiled and surged like living flesh trying to expel a foreign object. The oppressive force was staggering. If the material of Luo Binglan’s axe were not extraordinary, it would have been crushed to dust by now. Even a Holy Artifact would have had its spiritual light extinguished in an instant.
The Shadow Emperor watched the scene with a hint of mockery. "A waste of effort!"
Ye Huang did not speak, staring at the spot with an ominous premonition.
In the next mont, their expressions changed instantly.
They watched as the axe, buried in the blood mist, began to pulse with power. It grew larger and larger, driving itself deeper and deeper into the wall. Its montum should have vanished, and it should have been overwheld and crushed. Instead, the axe exhibited a surprising tenacity—an unyielding vitality. With unimaginable strength, it forced its way deeper, its edge growing ever sharper, as if it could cleave heaven and earth asunder.
POP.
It was a faint sound, like a silver vase suddenly shattering.
The Great Abyssal Demonic Array that enveloped Demon Sea Island tore open. The passage was forced wide, and it writhed for a long ti, unable to heal.
Because the axe was still lodged there.
"Not good!" The Shadow Emperor’s expression changed.
Luo Binglan suddenly called out, "Disciple!"
Wang Xiu was already prepared. "I’m ready!" he responded.
He ford hand seals, and countless runes erged. The Black Tower burst into intense light as innurable formations activated. The entire Zhenmo City rumbled, transforming into a beam of golden light that shot out through the gap at a startling speed.
In the blink of an eye, Zhenmo City shot outside of Demon Sea Island, breaking free from the confines of the Great Abyssal Demonic Array.
With the threat of the Great Abyssal Demonic Array gone, Wang Xiu dispelled the Great Void Concealnt Spell and imdiately felt a weight lift from his body.
He took a long, deep breath and looked toward Luo Binglan. Cupping his fists, he said with a smile, "Congratulations on your breakthrough to the Earth Immortal Realm, Master!"
Luo Binglan replied, "Now is not the ti for congratulations. Take them and go! The farther, the better!"
Wang Xiu simply nodded, turned, and returned to the city. He propelled Zhenmo City, sending it flying into the distance.
The current Demon Sea Island was a battlefield no ordinary person could enter. Even Saint Realm experts would be useless there; they would only be a burden. Zhenmo City held the seeds of the Human Race’s future; they had to survive at all costs.
Watching the colossal city recede into the distance, Luo Binglan turned around. She approached the gap, gripped the thick axe handle, pulled the massive weapon free, and leaped into the heart of Demon Sea Island.
