Holding a heavy hamr aloft, he snorted with disdain. He leaped high into the air and smashed down like a teor, attempting to shake the seal, but he couldn't move it an inch and was sent flying backward.
The waterfall shuddered, and countless tons of white water crashed down with a thunderous roar. Innurable Cultivators were struck, suffering broken bones and torn sinews. Even the physical cultivators who specialized in bodily strength could hardly withstand the impact.
Then, a girl with slender eyes and a fiery temper stepped forward. She carried a pair of scissors as tall as herself and had long, slender legs. She advanced on the waterfall and snipped with her giant blades. A razor-sharp aura swept across heaven and earth, transforming into a storm of blades that actually managed to sever the waterfall's flow. This strike was terrifying to the extre; an ordinary Soul Travel Cultivator would likely be cut into pieces upon contact.

The girl closest to the attack bore the brunt of it. She was instantly turned into minced flesh, and even the Magical Treasure scissors in her hands shattered.
This scene was utterly terrifying. Everyone gasped in horror, their hair standing on end. A cold chill ran from the soles of their feet to the crowns of their heads, and they scrambled back, not daring to get any closer.
"Where the hell did that wench co from? So reckless! Was she trying to get us all killed?" it was a good while before soone finally burst out cursing, infuriated with the girl who had already been reduced to a bloody mist.
"She was from the Wen Family!"
"The Wen Family is an old Ancient Clan, though they've been on the decline for years. Not many outstanding figures have erged, so they must be getting anxious."
This single incident resulted in heavy losses among those gathered. The Cultivators from the Cangyuan Realm were hit especially hard, losing roughly a quarter of their number in a truly grueso fashion. Even the Proud Children of the Nine Heavens were injured to varying degrees. Many had blood trickling from the corners of their mouths, and so even had to use their Magical Treasures just to mitigate the damage.
"Everyone, we've made it this far, so there's no need to hold back," one of the Chosen stood up and announced to the crowd. "No matter the disputes between us, we must enter the Dragon Nest first."
Although the seal's power had weakened greatly—ten thousand years was enough ti for many things to vanish into the dust of history—if they did nothing, who knew how much longer it would hold? Three years, five years, or perhaps ten? All were possible.
Soone imdiately chid in, "Exactly. Surely nobody here really wants to wait for several years, right?"
The young n and won at the forefront of the crowd spoke up. They had clearly ford an alliance, hailing from so of the oldest and most powerful clans of the Nine Heavens. All of them bore an extraordinary air, their spirits soaring. Each was surrounded by a surging, divine light, bursting with vigor.
The first young man to speak stepped forward and took out a bronze flask. A translucent light glead within it, resplendent and mysterious. It seed to contain divine blood, and the resonating sound of a dragon's roar echoed from inside.
"Is that... Dragon Emperor's blood?"
The crowd exclaid in shock, their gasps rising and falling. This drop of blood was incredibly mystical, containing an imnse divinity that could only have been left by a true Dragon Emperor.
Soon, soone recognized it and clarified, "It's not pure Dragon Emperor's blood. It's been diluted with other spiritual liquids, so its divinity is far from its peak!"
The young man had an extraordinary background, hailing from a famous great clan in the Nine Heavens. His ancestors had survived the war over ten thousand years ago and obtained a drop of the Dragon Emperor's blood. The blood of a Dragon Emperor from the Quasi-Emperor Realm was a truly rare treasure. Even after being diluted many tis, it was still comparable to an ordinary Immortal Elixir.
Another young man stepped forward with a piece of a shattered dragon bone in his palm. It would emit a golden glow one mont, then turn pitch-black and dim the next.
A young monk stepped forward, holding a dark Wooden Fish. It was covered in ancient, intricate runes and appeared to have been forged from the scales of so unknown creature.
Eventually, the major powers joined forces, pooling their nurous mystical artifacts. This seal, after all, was left by the Dragon Emperor. Even in its dilapidated state, it was not sothing Cultivators of their Realm could shake without the aid of special items. Clearly, they had all co prepared.
"This should be enough, right?"
"Let's try."
Beams of gentle light shot toward the sky. Amidst a rumbling sound, the waterfall parted to reveal a gigantic gate. The runes on it quivered and were continuously worn away, but they never fully dissipated, showing astonishing resilience.
"We're still missing sothing."
"Dammit, this seal is tougher than we anticipated!"
"Who's still holding back? We're so close!" the young people at the lead roared, turning to look back at the crowd.
