Ning Qi was puzzled and thought to himself, "It seems that the Saint Ancestor is even stronger than I imagined, having researched these elusive twisted creatures from outside the Spirit Realm and being able to control them for his own use, even getting them to recognize enemies."
These thoughts flashed through his mind quickly, and Ning Qi said again to Zhao Yujun, "Sect Leader Zhao, why don’t one of you join to deal with those twisted creatures?"
He was suggesting that out of the two, one should join him, but he only asked Zhao Yujun, clearly implying that Zhao Yujun should be the one to fight alongside him, with no intention of collaborating with Gong Tiandao.
The two understood this perfectly, and Gong Tiandao snorted but said nothing.
He continued to battle Jiang Yingchu, causing explosions to echo in the void.
Zhao Yujun, who had been fighting for quite a while, no longer maintained her previous calm deanor, instead exuding a murderous intent akin to a fierce lioness.
She realized the urgency of the situation and imdiately said, "Taoist Friend Ning, I’ll help you!"
Ning Qi had braved the Saint Ancestor’s avatar alone, while others were reluctant to do so. Although the avatar eventually summoned these twisted creatures with its energy, Ning Qi had held his ground and managed to drive the avatar out of the war realm without harm to himself.
This display of courage and achievent deeply impressed Zhao Yujun.
Compared to facing the Saint Ancestor’s avatar, Zhao Yujun preferred battling these twisted creatures.
Zhao Yujun swiftly flew to Ning Qi’s side, confronting the hundreds of twisted creatures diving down from the sky with him.
Standing proudly in the void, the duo’s aura soared, ready to protect the cultivators of the Mountain and Sea Realm from the encroaching horde of creatures.
However, these creatures indeed seed to lack intelligence. Their blood-red, vicious eyes locked onto Ning Qi and Zhao Yujun, who were closest to them, and they charged forward.
The three leading creatures were peculiar: one had a body like a locust with parasitic worms dangling from its rear, and its head resembled that of a centipede.
Another was half-human, half-lobster, with the human side laughing maniacally while the lobster side continuously waved its claws.
The last creature had a woman’s head with long, dull hair completely obscuring its face, emitting an eerie sound from its mouth.
Its body resembled a python, with a slightly decayed skeletal head whose eye sockets blazed with blood-red flas, endlessly clattering its teeth.
Crunch, crunch, crunch!
The three surged forward, executing killing moves that seed entirely contradictory.
Their powers combined the Power of Rules, the Sea of Realms’ energy, and unique forces from the different bodies rged into them, along with an inexplicably bizarre sensation even Ning Qi and Zhao Yujun couldn’t describe.
Zhao Yujun’s White Bone Sword suddenly enlarged, as if treating the sky as a sea. The sword turned into a giant whale, charging towards the creatures above.
In an instant, her attack seed effective, as the leading three creatures were directly swept by the whale sword!
Yet, strangely, at the mont of impact, their fused bodies suddenly separated, precisely attaching themselves to Zhao Yujun’s whale sword.
This scene made Zhao Yujun’s blue eyes contract. She reacted quickly, causing her right hand to tremble the sword with high-frequency vibrations, emitting a humming whale sound.
Massive waves of Water Rule erupted from it, trying to wash away all the evil entities.
Seeing this, Ning Qi frowned.
He had never encountered such bizarre beings until now.
Zhao Yujun was, after all, the sect leader of the Moon Sea Immortal Sect, one of the top cultivators in the Mountain and Sea Realm. Ning Qi recognized her level of power, yet it seed she was helpless against these peculiar creatures.
Ning Qi suddenly raised his arm in a palming gesture at the creatures and exhaled forcefully.
A condensed Dao Fire, specializing in exorcism and demonic banishnt rules like fire and thunder, spewed out, turning into a sky-burning fire, sweeping the skies.
Sizzle!
The mixed-rule Dao Fire was remarkable, as he and Zhao Yujun could hear the continuous sizzling sound of burning.
Zhao Yujun retracted her whale bone sword and glanced at it.
In just an instant, parts of the sword, where the creatures had attached, appeared infected, with disgusting fleshy spots writhing.
Disdainfully, Zhao Yujun glanced at her sword.
If not for the sword being her frequent magical weapon, she would have discarded it.
"Taoist Friend Ning, lend your Dao Fire!"
Ning Qi separated a strand of Dao Fire, enveloping her sword and burning off the flesh spots.
Once again, they gazed into the sky.
The Dao Fire lit up the sky, painting it in a special hue.
If not for those creatures rising and falling within, it would have been a picturesque scene.
The next mont, to their surprise, the burning creatures showed no intention of evasion or pain, despite being scorched by the Dao Fire; they continued to dive towards them.
"Woohoo, hahaha, kill, shoo, chirp chirp....."
Various insane sounds accompanied them as they descended, all rging and assaulting Ning Qi and Zhao Yujun with a force that bewildered the mind.
Their consciousness flickered montarily; Ning Qi regained his composure within a fraction of a second, and Zhao Yujun within a thousandth of a second.
"What on earth are these things, and why are they so hard to kill?"
Ning Qi conjured the Great Tao Sword, focusing his Divine Techniques. Countless Sword Pills manifested before them, forming an attack web and a defensive wall to prevent the creatures from reaching them.
A myriad of Divine Techniques simultaneously transford into Sword Qi, slashing at the creatures.
Ning Qi employed the strongest assault Sword Dao. Countless Sword Qi sliced and diced the space ahead, even fragnting the space into shards containing space black holes.
The creatures were finally shredded by Ning Qi’s Sword Qi, turned to minceat, and then pulverized.
Both seed to heave a sigh of relief.
Zhao Yujun sheathed her sword, tucking a strand of wavy hair behind her ear, sincerely praising:
"Taoist Friend Ning, you truly deserve to be a cultivator who has overco the thirty-six layers of Celestial Tribulation. Jade Monarch is genuinely impressed!"
She seed to fixate on Ning Qi’s feat of surviving the thirty-six layers of Celestial Tribulation and still rembered it now.
Having a woman rember a man’s rit is often the beginning of trouble.
Ning Qi shook his head, "Daoist Zhao, there’s no need to flatter ; the situation isn’t over yet."
"Hmm?" Zhao Yujun was taken aback.
They glanced again into the void.
Just sliced space fragnts were rapidly repairing under the joint effort of the realms’ will.
As the space returned to normal, the hundred dismbered creature remains began to reassemble.
However, instead of hundreds of figures, they beca ten!
aning that the original hundred twisted creatures coalesced into ten massive, twisted monstrosities.
They reappeared, and each creature’s strength and aura directly skyrocketed more than twentyfold!
All observing cultivators were shocked, with a tinge of terror rising in their hearts.
Not that they were genuinely afraid, but indirectly, the terror was evoked by the ten regenerated creatures.
As long as they existed, they seed to pose a threat to all living beings!
The ten new beasts suddenly let out a booming howl embodying the world’s evil and spiritual resonance, pouncing towards Ning Qi and Zhao Yujun, as well as the battling cultivators below them.
Great sound is rarely heard, and great form is formless.
Even with sound present, Ning Qi understood this point from their screeches, as the sounds also included demonic tones inaudible to ordinary cultivators.
Zhao Yujun instinctively tried to block her hearing with Rule power, seemingly silencing the world only to realize the futility the next mont, shocking her.
And the cultivators battling below, be it Gong Tiandao or those of Harmonization and below in the Mountain and Sea Realm, were unanimously intimidated by this sound!
anwhile, the Vast Realm cultivators appeared to have a pre-empted spell speaking to guard against this indiscriminate impact from the ten howling creatures.
