A Wolf Demon leader pointed a long knife at them:

The patrolling Demon Soldiers quickly reacted, two to three hundred Wolf Demons split up, raised their shields, and swiftly advanced forward.
Three-foot Wind Blades swept across the steel shields, making dull ’bang bang’ sounds.

The Golden-winged Flying Centipede is a Level 40 Elite Template, about five ters long, with a shell of pure gold and a pair of golden wings. When flying, golden mist perates between the joints, making it appear very beautiful.
The Golden-winged Flying Centipedes weren’t released far but hovered around to intercept any Demon Soldiers that might charge through.
The fla spirits summoned by Zhang Yunchen are mostly fla birds, Fire Monkeys, fire horses, fire bears, and other incorporeal spirits not afraid of casualties, turning everywhere they go into a sea of fire.
But these Demon Soldiers’ Life Force was strong enough to wade through the sea of fire, with several Ox Demons in the center raising huge axes and striking down fiercely. The axe’s force plowed a trench, breaking through two layers of wind walls.

"Thanks!"
He Shoucheng quickly summoned a protective bell to guard himself, then swung out two more layers of wind walls to block the charging Wolf Demons, loudly stating:
"There are too many, we can’t hold them head-on."

Fortunately, they were right at the entrance of the Demon camp, with open ground behind them.
