Li Yujian’s performance has set the bar high. Everyone was hesitant to go next.

"Who’s going next?" Li Jain asks. He is sitting on his chair watching everyone in the room.

Everyone looked at each other silently with doubt written on their faces. Their gaze fell on Li Zhang and then shifted to Yuhan. After hesitating for a mont Li Cheng nodded and walked up in front of Li Jain, bowing respectfully: "Father I’ll go next."

Li Cheng awakened the Heavenly Lightning Bloodline previously which makes his progress very smooth.

He took the papern and arranged them in a circle. Afterwards, he picked up the corresponding talisman and sat in the middle of the circle and tied a cloth over his eyes. Took a few deep breaths to calm his mind and focus.

A small amount of lightning crackled from his hands and activated the talisman. The formation lit up and he was transported into another space.

Unlike the physical training, this was a spiritual mind training. Li Cheng’s mind created another space according to the formation. When he appeared in the arena, the blindfold was tightly covering his eyes. He was in the center of the arena and the 30 papern surrounding him. Li Cheng has a unique sense of sll. So Li Jain used this training thod to sharpen this unique sense.

After Li Cheng entered the space, the image appeared above the formation and everyone could see what was happening. Current surrounded by 30 papern who have transford attacking from all directions,

Li Cheng who has no way of dodging them gathered his lightning energy and wanted to use the lighting rain spell which causes lightings to rain from the sky.

The space suddenly upgraded at this mont, and he was transported into a forest, with trees, fruits, herbs, and small animals. He was forced to retrieve the spell because of the lighting rain and destroyed other live forces, he’ll fail the level. But luckily, the n were all scattered around because of this upgrade, now he had to use his sense of sll to find their location and defeat them.

As expected from his father’s training thod. He won’t let him have it easy. Li Jain saw that Li Cheng could defeat those papern with his lightning rain spell. Although there were 30 papern, they were at the 3rd level of Physical Body which was two levels lower than Li Cheng. Doing this easy challenge won’t benefit him so Li Jain had to upgrade the formation and challenge Li Cheng.

Li Cheng challenge took the longest ti. The environnt was strange. Not only was he supposed to kill the papern that were hidden, he also had to make sure not to affect any living stock negatively in the process. In the end, it took more than 10 minutes to finish his task. His father really knows how to make life harder than necessary.

After the battle ended, Li Cheng wasn’t unhard. He had bruises all over, especially his arms and legs that had lots of cuts on them. Although he was tired, from his smile, one can tell that he enjoyed that challenge.

"Xiao Xin, go help your brother heal." Li Jain said to Juanxin who’d been nervous this whole ti.

"Yes Father." Juanxin helped Li Cheng on the side while Jingxuan carried on his physical training.

Jingxuan was at the 2 level of physical training which required 20 papern. At first, he was able to knock them out quickly but because he wasn’t aiming at their weakness and his attacks weren’t powerful enough, the papern got up a short while after being knocked out. After repeating this process over and over, Jingxuan was exhausted without getting any results and failed the level again.

Standing in front of his father, he was very embarrassed and angry at himself. If he just had more strength, he might be able to win easily. Instead of showing his father how much he had improved, he had failed again. Now, he feels so ashad and guilty about being incompetent.

Seeing the angry Jingxuan and self conscious expression on his face, Jain sighed softly. "Xiao Xuan, do you feel the papern get weaker and dissipate when you hit certain parts of their body?"

Jingxuan thought for a while and nodded his head:"Yes Father, The papern falls when I kick the knees and dissipates easily when I hit the neck."

"Then what kept you from continuously kicking their knees and hitting their neck?" He questioned and watched how Jingxuan lit up in astonishnt.

"I haven’t thought about that." Jingxuan answered with sha still visible on his face.

"Try again, once you finish this level. I have a technique that would help you control your fire attribute." Li Jain encouraged him.

"Alright Father, I will try to overco this problem. Just watch!" Jingxuan hasn’t been able to practice any of his fire techniques and spells because he couldn’t control the fla. Now that his father was about to give him the fla control technique, he was very happy.

Jingsheng finished his training very fast, one minute slower than Yujian. Unlike the other brothers, he had practice every chance he got. He should’ve been the only one to finish his training plan but he hasn’t perfected his skills yet, therefore, he claims not to be done.

Li Zhang has an Earth spirit root and awakened a guardian spirit giant with a huge hamr on its shoulder. Earth as a whole has a do with soil and rocks. Therefore Li Zhang has been doing physical training that includes heavy lifting.

Once everyone was done, it was finally Juanxin’s turn.

"Xiao Xin, why don’t you show Daddy your progress?" Li Jain says while looking at his son.

Juanxin looked up to his father and bowed slightly: "I.. can’t."

The words are so shocking and unbelievable that even Li Jain was surprised. "You can’t?" he repeated with disbelief in his tone.

"Yes," Juanxin replied as he lowered his head.

"Why can’t you?" He questioned again.

"I forgot to practice and now I can’t do it." Juanxin replied as he looked up and stared at his father straight in the eyes. He knew he was lying and was very anxious. He couldn’t complete his training not because he forgot but because he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

Li Jain stared at his youngest son for a while and sighed. "Xiao Xin, co with for a mont." Li Jain told the others to continue their training and left with Juanxin.

Juanxin follows his father quietly through the door which leads to the garden in the backyard. The two of them sat in the pavilion.

They didn’t say anything for quite so ti. Finally, Jain spoke: "Can you tell father the real reason you couldn’t continue your training?"

Juanxin bites his lips tightly, afraid that he would cry if he tells him the truth. His throat felt like it’s tightening and it’s almost difficult to talk.

"I..I’m scared." He said while trembling his fists.

"Scared? Of what exactly?" Jain asked curiously.

"The inscription was ok, I did it everyday. But the healing.... Whenever I see the wounds on the papern, I... I feel terrified and can’t bear to look." As Juanxin spoke, tears started rolling down his eyes like a flood. He was too timid.

They were just a few small wounds. Li Jain didn’t think it was sothing that Juanxin couldn’t handle. Juanxin has a pure energy for healing. If he’s afraid of seeing wounds how would he use an ability later? Not to ntion he’s about to enroll them in school. In this cultivation world where injuries are a norm, if Juanxin cannot overco his fear of seeing wounds then he will definitely won’t be able to leave his shell.

Cough cough, Li Jain cleared his throat: "Xiao Xin, Uncle Liu Xiong would be leaving tomorrow to look for a special fruit. Do you want to take a break and go with him?" Li Jain thought letting Juanxin leave with Liu Xiong was a good idea. The location of the fruit wasn’t specific and it’ll take a few days before they find it. In this way, Juanxin would get a bit of experience outside and breathe fresh air.

"Really?" Juanxin looked at his father with excitent.

"Yes, and you can take Fluffy along with you." Li Jain tapped his index finger on Juanxin’s forehead to lower his excitent. "Rember, if you want to co ho, tell Liu Xiong and he’ll bring you back at any ti."

Juanxin nodded his head excitedly, "Ok, Papa!" Then he ran forward and hugged Li Jain tightly: "Thank you."

With that, Juanxin dashed back to the house happily to park up for his trip.

Li Jain watched Juanxin as he left happily and a warm smile appeared on his face. ’Well, this turns out to be the right arrangent.’ he thought.
