[Vermilion Sun Tree].

[Vermilion Sun Blossom].

Lei Jun gazed at that pure white flower, and suddenly, as if inspired, a thought blossod in his mind.

He hadn’t heard of these nas before.

But he was certain, this was exactly what he wanted.

The Celestial Master Seal and the True One Altar both reacted to this Spirit Flower.

If he used Nine Sacred Frost Dew to continue nourishing and cultivating this immortal seed, he could soday work together with the True One Altar to further raise his Root Bone.

Lei Jun glanced around, and found that there was only this one Vermilion Sun Blossom blooming on the entire Vermilion Sun Tree.

Thinking about timing, he imdiately made a decisive move and summoned his Breathing Soil Banner.

Layers of heavy, dim yellow light, like earth itself, wrapped around the flower’s branch, slicing off the tree limb that bore the pure white Spirit Flower from the Vermilion Sun Tree.

The Vermilion Sun Tree, which appeared aged, was still incredibly sturdy, and it was really difficult to break off the flowering branch.

Lei Jun, with his Breathing Soil Banner in hand, struggled for a while before finally snapping the branch.

In just these brief monts, the petals of the pure white Vermilion Sun Blossom already showed signs of closing up once more.

It seed this flower only blood for a brief instant at sunrise under certain specific circumstances.

The opportunity flashed by and vanished—a Spirit Flower would, in what felt like a reversal of ti, its petals drew back into a bud, then returned into the branch and leaves, as if by magic, leaving Lei Jun in awe of the wonders of the world.

*No wonder those two moderately good lots could only let choose one—their timings overlapped...* Lei Jun mused.

Although he wasn’t sure about the exact situation at Xianming Spring, even if he hurried there now, it was most likely already too late.

Likewise, if he’d gone to Xianming Spring first but couldn’t finish quickly, the mont he’d spent coming here to Nanhua Cliff, the Vermilion Sun Blossom would have vanished.

As if it had never blood at all.

Right now, although Lei Jun had broken off the branch, the pure white Spirit Flower still showed signs it might close up again.

He focused his mind, letting a constant flow of spiritual power from the Breathing Soil Banner flood in, keeping the Vermilion Sun Blossom open for a little longer.

Lei Jun flicked his deep red Taoist Robe, and the Breathing Soil Banner disappeared.

He bowed toward Nanhua Cliff in the Taoist manner, offering thanks to the living spirit of the world for producing this precious treasure; then, riding mist and clouds, descended the steep face and returned to the ground.

Looking around, there wasn’t a single person nearby.

Lei Jun acted as if nothing had happened, wandering on through the Cave Heavens.

He strolled leisurely, passing through many places, and eventually found himself near Xianming Spring.

*The choice has already been made, so Lei Jun didn’t think too much about the Third-Rank Opportunity at Xianming Spring anymore, though he was a little curious—would soone else get that opportunity?*

*And what would happen to them after they did?*

When he reached the edge of Xianming Spring, Lei Jun swept his gaze over and imdiately saw a woman standing on the far side of the pool.

The other person wore a Taoist Robe, but her features were elegant and clear, dignified and serene, standing by the water with a quiet, peerless grace.

The beauty by the water seed lost in thought at that mont.

*That Zhang Jingzhen, Senior Sister Zhang...* Lei Jun raised an eyebrow.

*Seeing her look a bit strange, he couldn’t help but speculate a little in his heart.*

Although he was curious, Lei Jun kept his calm on the surface, refrained from asking further, and just greeted her as he normally would, "Senior Sister Zhang?"

His approach caught Zhang Jingzhen’s attention, and her eyes promptly sharpened with focus as she turned back to herself, "Lei?"

"I already checked over there, no one from our Sect." Lei Jun replied with a calm expression.

Zhang Jingzhen nodded slightly, "I t two others over there, already told them to gather at the Immortal Bamboo Forest."

She looked beyond Xianming Spring, eyes gazing into the distance, "Have you been over there yet?"

Lei Jun, "Not yet, I was just about to head that way from here."

Zhang Jingzhen nodded, "Only that place left, let’s go together."

The two of them soared up through the clouds, flying over Xianming Spring.

Zhang Jingzhen’s gaze swept lightly across the lake’s surface; it was subtle and indistinct, her eyes still held a hint of distraction.

Lei Jun flew past Xianming Spring, letting his own gaze drift across the water.

Everything appeared just as it had when he first arrived.

Only the faint echoes of the Great Dao still lingered in his ears.

It was as if nothing had happened here at all.

But where earlier, the Celestial Master Seal and True One Altar had responded to slight disturbances around Xianming Spring, now all that had vanished.

The possible Third-Rank Opportunity here was, as expected, gone.

Lei Jun and Zhang Jingzhen made another patrol, and brought back two fellow disciples from other locations.

In the end, everyone gathered together at the Immortal Bamboo Forest.

Here, with Zhang Jingzhen in charge, Lei Jun didn’t say much more.

Instead, he focused quietly on breathing skills, relying on the abundant Spiritual Energy in the Immortal Bamboo Forest to silently cultivate and refine himself.

When the appointed ti ca, Zhang Jingzhen led everyone out of the bamboo forest, returning to the sector they’d entered from.

Sure enough, thunderlight flashed across the ground, and the cloud-like solid earth beneath their feet split open once again.

Lei Jun and the others entered, greeted by a swirling dance of rays and thunderlight before their eyes.

When his vision returned to normal, everyone found themselves back atop the main peak of Dragon Tiger Mountain.

Looking up, the clouds overhead closed once more, leaving only the sound of thunder and electric serpents weaving through the sky.

The High rit Elder watching over the summit now wasn’t Shangguan Ning, but Lei Jun’s Master, Yuan Mobai.

There were few High rit Elders left on Dragon Tiger Mountain these days, each with their own duties, and so had to take turns at the High rit Pavilion.

So for Supre Pure Thunder Mansion Cave Heaven, they took turns here as well.

"Jingzhen, is everything alright?" Yuan Mobai didn’t first look at his own disciple, Lei Jun, but greeted Zhang Jingzhen and inspected an injured Talismans-bestowed Taoist.

Elder Yuan always made his fellow disciples feel as gentle and reassuring as a spring breeze.
