In this world, the practice of cultivation from the Seventh Heavenly Layer to the Ninth Heavenly Layer is collectively referred to as the Upper Three Heavens. The Seventh Heavenly Layer Realm is the starting point of the Upper Three Heavens. Within the various major Taoist Inheritances, this is an extrely important checkpoint.
For the internal mbers of the Taoist Sect, the Seventh Heavenly Layer Realm for the Alchemy Cauldron Sect is known as Nascent Soul or forming nascent. This stage originates from the Sixth Heavenly Layer’s Tao Fetus Realm; one casts off the fetal form to beco an infant, with both life and Spiritual Soul undergoing further transformation.
The External Alchemy School refers to the Seventh Heavenly Layer Realm as Pill Resolution, which cos from the Sixth Heavenly Layer’s Immortal Seed Realm. At this stage, the cultivation of External Alchemy is complete. The Immortal Seed transforms, and the Cultivator thoroughly sheds their mortal shell, entering a new stage of life. Any further manifestation of form is a transformation and condensation of the Spiritual Soul, vastly different from the past.
And the Talisman Sect calls the Seventh Heavenly Layer Realm Connecting Heaven.
In Lei Jun’s personal perception, his physical body and Spiritual Soul further communicated and even rged with the natural world of heaven and earth. His current level of cultivation was not so much stepping onto a new ladder as it was entering into a whole new path, a path of Connecting Heaven. Walking this path was to advance further along the way of cultivation.
The light sphere that previously appeared with text ntioned "every step on the path of Connecting Heaven arises." This seems to have a double aning, referring both to this world beyond and also indicating that I have the opportunity here to step onto the path of Connecting Heaven.
The Taoist Talisman Sect often speaks of the Law of Heaven and Earth, and also of the Law of Heaven and Earth embodying humanity, emphasizing the unity of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. Connecting Heaven is the beginning of Embodying Heaven, the start of the unity of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity.
When Lei Jun was at the Sixth Heavenly Layer Tao Seal Realm, he continuously distilled and summarized all he had learned before. As he stepped into the Seventh Heavenly Layer, the Connecting Heaven Realm, everything he had previously concentrated seed like seeds buried in the soil. At this mont, they transford and sprouted, instantly growing into a towering tree, followed by a flourish of blossoms.
All the previously understood Tao Containnt yielded new understandings and changes, making Lei Jun wish he could imrse himself in the ocean of Taoist Laws continuously.
As his cultivation increased, Lei Jun could also clearly feel that his Vitality beca more vigorous and vibrant. This was true not just for his physical body, but his Spiritual Soul as well.
Upon reaching the Seventh Heavenly Layer Realm, Lei Jun’s lifespan finally increased once again, from the limit of four hundred years to eight hundred years. And the most beneficial period for Cultivators to rapidly advance their cultivation increased from one hundred years to two hundred years.

She observed with interest the Heaven-Connecting Spiritual Light, which had an expansive coverage area far exceeding that of an ordinary Talisman Sect Cultivator of the Seventh Heavenly Layer Realm. "Indeed, you haven’t slacked off in your cultivation."
"’Over these years, I’ve heavily relied on the guidance and teachings from Senior Sister, Master, and all of you,’ Lei Jun said as the Spirit Light above his head gradually retracted until it fully entered his body."
He stood up, his deanor calm but solemn, and gave Xu Yuanzhen a respectful Taoist bow.
Xu Yuanzhen did not simply accept his formal courtesy but returned the bow, saying, "If it were rotten wood, it cannot be carved. You have co this far more due to your own efforts."
Lei Jun smiled, saying little, but his expression was focused. He extended his hands forward, palms open. The Spirit Light atop his head flickered, and a White Jade Great Seal erged from within. The Great Seal gracefully landed in front of Lei Jun, who lifted it with both hands.
It was none other than the Celestial Master Seal!
Since obtaining the Celestial Master Seal, this treasure had always been rged with his Spiritual Soul, deeply embedded within its depths. Only now, having attained the Seventh Heavenly Layer Realm, did he truly begin to master this treasure. Thus, the Celestial Master Seal could now separate from and rejoin with Lei Jun’s Spiritual Soul at will, able to see the light of day once again.
"I don’t need it. You can discuss it with Xiaotang and Master later," Xu Yuanzhen said nonchalantly.
Lei Jun looked at the denser and overwhelming black thundercloud surrounding her. "What about the Thunder Law Heavenly Scripture Talismans?"
Xu Yuanzhen replied, "Since you’ve made it in ti, take a look at this."
Her temperant might be a bit peculiar, but the Li Clan had beco a thing of the past, so such matters were naturally water under the bridge.
Lei Jun now held the Celestial Master Seal with one hand, while his other hand ford a spell sign before his chest. In an instant, layers of jade light spread out from the White Jade Great Seal. Within the hazy jade light, the True One Altar appeared.
At the very top of the three-tiered Altar, purple Nine Heavens Divine Thunder began to converge, and an ancient yet profound Talisman Scripture flickered in and out of sight within them. The True One Altar faced the black thundercloud from afar. Xu Yuanzhen, still standing in the middle of the thundercloud, watched with relish the Talisman Scripture interwoven with purple lightning at the top of the True One Altar.
Lei Jun stood by, also finding it interesting. Because as far as he knew, Xu Yuanzhen’s approach to cultivation, or her habits, were different from Tang Xiaotang’s. That massive black thundercloud was indeed eye-catching, but it was more an outward expression of Xu Yuanzhen’s Mana. She was not like Tang Xiaotang, who was creatively original and keen on distinguishing her own Taoist Laws from the traditional inheritance of the Celestial Master Mansion to create her own path.
On the contrary, Xu Yuanzhen had always practiced the orthodox and direct teachings of the Celestial Master Mansion. She cultivated Life Skill Human Script Talismans during the Seventh Heavenly Layer Realm and Fire Dharma Earth Script Talisman during the Eighth Heavenly Layer.
