Tang Xiaotang and Chu Yu also split their forces. Tang Xiaotang traversed south and north of the Grand River, pursuing Lin Che all the way.
Yet, in the end, Lin Che still managed to escape back to the Jiangzhou ancestral land.

But after prolonged battles, his stamina waned, and with signs of old wounds resurfacing, he had no other choice but to return to the Jiangzhou ancestral land first.
Though referred to as the ancestral land of a clan, it featured continuous rows of houses and nurous converging manors that covered the wilderness. Deeper inside, walls stood on all four sides, resembling a cityscape. Nestled by mountains and water, it took advantage of both the Grand River and the strategic terrain of the Kuanglu Mountains. This allowed it to gather Global Spiritual Qi, creating a place where talent flourished and the land itself was auspicious.
From a distance, Literary Splendor Talent could be seen soaring into the sky like crimson clouds covering the firmant.
At the city’s core lay the Lin Family Ancestral Hall, where Literary Splendor Talent ford a pillar of light shooting straight into the sky, blazing day and night, dazzlingly brilliant.
Its prosperity was not inferior to the nearby Jiangzhou City; indeed, its splendor surpassed it.

Before their words fell, thunder bood in the sky above.
A golden Thunder Dragon appeared from the clouds, looking down upon the mountains and rivers of Jiangzhou. The surging thunder light instantly bathed half the sky in gold.
From the thunderclouds, a tall woman erged. She was dressed in a Nine-Colored Cape that shone brilliantly, her beauty peerless. However, a nacing aura emanated from her eyes, and her eyebrows and hair had turned golden.
It was none other than the Current Celestial Master, Tang Xiaotang.
She gestured from high above.
Instantly, another sound resonated between heaven and earth—like the hum of a sword, the boom of thunder, or a Dragon Chant.
The other half of the sky, not already golden, was now dyed purple. Nine Heavens Divine Thunder and Pure Yang Immortal Thunder roared in unison, filling the cloudy sky.
An ancient Magical Sword then appeared in Tang Xiaotang’s hand, its blade covered with nurous runes imbued with Tao Containnt.
Within the thunderclouds in the sky, two Thunder Dragons—one gold, one purple—appeared simultaneously. Roaring, they imdiately plunged together towards the Lin Clan Ancestral Land in Jiangzhou below.
At this mont, Lin Che’s face remained calm as he raised the ink-black and gold ink brush in his hands.
The ink brush flew into mid-air. Black and gold colors unfurled.
The nearby mountains and rivers of Jiangzhou further changed their appearance. The river water turned ink-black. The high mountains beca pure gold. As black and gold intertwined, the mountains and rivers seed to co alive, intercepting the descending Thunder Dragons in mid-air.
"Characters fall, mountains move; the pen travels, dragons and serpents course." Lin Che bowed to the Dragon Serpent Pen in mid-air, then raised his hand to grasp it.
As he wielded the brush, Wenhua Vast Integrity Qi gathered automatically. Although the longsword at his waist remained sheathed, its Sword Qi and Sword Intent—originally ford from the convergence of literary insight and talent—were now expressed differently. While its sharp edge was restrained, it felt even more profound and heavy.
