Now reading: Chapter 90: Refining Gu and Meeting Someone from Cultivation: I Have a Golden Talisman, a Eastern novel by North Wind Under the Tree.

After breaking through to the Seventh Layer of Sensing, Fang Cheng clearly felt his Qi Sea had expanded significantly, and his Magical Power had more than tripled!

Now, when he used the Cyan Profound Sword Technique, he felt completely at ease, executing it effortlessly and with grace.

His comprehension of the Cyan Profound Sword Technique at the Perfect Realm, combined with his now abundant Magical Power, elevated the might of his sword light to a whole new level.

Even if he were to face an Inner Disciple of the Yinluo Sect now, he was confident he could fight one of them relying on his Sword Technique alone.

Not to ntion, after several months of arduous cultivation, his Li Hen Demon Light had reached the nineteenth layer. The Demonic Light had grown longer and larger, its power surging dramatically.

He had also refined the fifth Rune Secret Ring for his Red Nether Condensing Light, but he still hadn’t found a chance to test the true power of this Divine Technique...

A mont later, Fang Cheng leisurely descended in his Escape Light, returning to Cyan Demon Cliff.

Seeing that he had broken through, Ye Yan and Die’Er were overjoyed and rushed forward to congratulate him.

Fang Cheng said, "I need to go to the Outer Sect’s Dragon Spine Archipelago to take care of so things. Yan’Er, would you like to co with ?"

Ye Yan’s beautiful eyes shimred as she nodded. "As it happens, I also need to make a trip to the Sect Marketplace. In that case, I’ll go with you."

Die’Er pouted, wanting to go but not daring to say so directly.

Ye Yan smiled and said, "Die’Er, you should stay and watch the house. We have important business to attend to."

Die’Er could only nod and say, "I’ll focus on my cultivation here at ho."

In truth, Ye Yan and Die’Er were as close as sisters, and Ye Yan never hesitated to share cultivation resources. Unfortunately, Die’Er’s talent was sowhat lacking. Reaching the Late Sensing Stage would likely be the limit of her cultivation in this lifeti.

Fang Cheng took Ye Yan’s small hand. They rged their Escape Lights and flew straight out from Xiaocang Island, heading for the Dragon Spine Archipelago.

Now that their Cultivation Realms were the sa, and they both practiced Cultivation Techniques that granted deep and enduring Magical Power, their Flying Escape speed was extrely fast.

Along the way, they passed through a boundless sea of clouds, streaking across the sky. As far as the eye could see, there was a vast azure sky and white clouds above, and a boundless Daze below—a breathtaking and uplifting sight.

Before long, they saw dozens of islands below that resembled the spine of a colossal dragon, situated at the southern end of a massive island.

The massive island was shrouded by an Array, making it appear illusory and indistinct. This was the Ancestral Court of the Yinluo Sect, where the Inner Sect was located.

And the archipelago to the south was precisely where the Outer Sect of the Yinluo Sect was located.

The scenery on the Dragon Spine Archipelago was beautiful and brimming with Spiritual Qi. Splendid, golden-roofed palaces were scattered about in an orderly fashion, with pavilions and kiosks dotting the mountain forests, where Spirit Beast cranes often appeared.

As they neared the archipelago, Fang Cheng and Ye Yan withdrew their Escape Light and slowed down. Changing their Spells, they executed the Cloud Escape Technique, descending on an auspicious cloud.

The skies above the archipelago were bustling with activity. Many Cultivators were either riding in Flying Celestial Chariots, mounted on Spirit Beasts, or piloting Magical Artifacts. Escape Lights of all colors flashed and streaked through the air as they ca and went.

With the Identity Token of an Outer Disciple hanging from his waist, Fang Cheng led Ye Yan to a small island on the edge of the Dragon Spine Archipelago.

In a forest on the south side of the island, several massive boulders ford an arch around a stone gate.

A faint, shimring restrictive spell covered the stone gate, sealing it from the outside world.

This was Fang Cheng’s Outer Sect Cave Mansion.

However, the cultivation conditions here were far inferior to Xiaocang Island, so he only used it as a temporary base and a place to refine Gu.

The two of them deactivated the Cave Mansion’s restrictive spell and walked inside.

Ye Yan curiously looked around the interior of the Cave Mansion. She saw that it was stark, clean, and completely empty.

Aside from the central hall, all six stone chambers inside the Cave Mansion had been converted into Gu Pits by Fang Cheng.

He hadn’t returned for many days, and a new batch of Gu Insects had been bred in the six Gu Pits. However, their tiers were not ideal; all of them were around the Tier One Mid Stage.

Fang Cheng ignored the three Wine Gu Pits for the ti being. He had co here this ti mainly to refine his Vajra Gu.

With a flick of his long sleeve, five points of golden light the size of walnuts appeared. Within the light were five Vajra Gu, each exuding a ferocious aura.

With a flicker of his thoughts, the five Vajra Gu flew into a Gu Pit and quickly devoured all the other, weaker Gu Insects.

Then, Fang Cheng took out the Demon Race corpses he had collected in the Southern Mang Mountains from his storage bag and tossed them into the Gu Pit one by one.

First were the bodies of nineteen Late Sensing Stage Demon Cultivators.

The five Vajra Gu began to devour them ravenously. In less than four hours, all that remained in the pit was a pile of stark white bones.

Fang Cheng collected the bones and then threw in the body of a Life Talisman Realm Demon Cultivator.

This ti, the Vajra Gu acted as if they had found a supre treasure, scrambling over one another to burrow into the corpse. The huge Demon Cultivator’s body shriveled at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Fang Cheng sat by the edge of the Gu Pit and used his Naless Gu Technique to stimulate the evolutionary potential of the Vajra Gu.

Ye Yan accompanied Fang Cheng, showing no signs of impatience. Instead, she watched from the side with great interest, her beautiful eyes filled with curiosity.

Before long, the five Vajra Gu had completely devoured the body of the Tier Two Demon Cultivator, leaving a clean, snow-white skeleton at the bottom of the Gu Pit.

Ye Yan noticed that the golden light surrounding the five Vajra Gu had grown even more intense.

Next, Fang Cheng threw another corpse into the Gu Pit.

The Vajra Gu were clearly full and couldn’t eat anymore. They seed listless and were unwilling to approach the new al.

Fang Cheng’s expression remained calm. He continued to activate his Naless Gu Technique, causing the five Vajra Gu to grow agitated again and begin ravenously devouring the flesh and blood.

This ti, it took much longer.

By the ti the Demon Cultivator’s body was completely consud, the five Vajra Gu were each enveloped in a golden radiance, lying motionless at the bottom of the pit as if they had fallen into a deep slumber.

Fang Cheng cut his finger and offered five drops of his essence blood, letting them fall onto each of the five Gu Insects.

Then, he perford the Gu technique, refining them for half a day.

After the better part of half a day, he finally finished refining the Gu.

Finally, he carefully inspected the restrictive spells within the Gu Pit before sealing it once more.

The restrictive spells on these Gu Pits also contained his essence blood and were specifically designed to suppress the five Vajra Gu. Even if one of them evolved into a Tier Two Gu Insect, it would not necessarily be able to break through the spell.

He still had one Life Talisman Realm Demon Cultivator body left, so he decided to start a new pit of Gu and cultivate a few more Tier One Late Stage Vajra Gu.

「On an island in the central part of the Dragon Spine Archipelago.」

In front of a magnificent Cave Mansion, Fang Cheng and Ye Yan stood side-by-side, curiously looking at a young girl of about ten years old before them.

"My master has gone to visit a friend and has not yet returned. Honored guests, please co back another ti," the young girl said, her diction perfect.

This was the Cave Mansion of Outer Elder Lu Wei. Fang Cheng had co seeking Two Realms Flower Seeds, but unexpectedly, Lu Wei happened to be off the island.

"Very well. I will co to visit another day," Fang Cheng said, then he and Ye Yan took their leave.

The young girl watched them leave before turning and returning to the Cave Mansion.

After leaving the Dragon Spine Archipelago, Fang Cheng and Ye Yan hurried to the Sect Marketplace.

Fang Cheng had accumulated a batch of Demon Race skeletons, which were rare and valuable materials for the Inner Sect Disciples of the Yinluo Sect who cultivated the White Bone Relic Dao Skill.

Unfortunately, Shopkeeper Liu, with whom he was acquainted, had limited resources and couldn’t handle such a large quantity of goods. In the end, he had no choice but to sell them to the Ye Family’s Cangshan Pavilion.

Two Tier Two Early Stage Demon Race skeletons and nineteen Tier One Late Stage Demon Race skeletons—Cangshan Pavilion bought them all at market price for a total of 39,000 Lower-Grade Spirit Stones!

Having co into a small fortune, Fang Cheng was in high spirits with a pouch full of Spirit Stones. He imdiately invited Ye Yan to feast at a Spiritual Cuisine Restaurant in the Sect Marketplace.

During the al, Fang Cheng asked curiously, "Yan’Er, what business brought you to the Sect Marketplace this ti?"

His own business was mostly taken care of. As for Lu Wei, it wouldn’t be too late to visit that beautiful Elder after she returned.

Ye Yan’s almond-shaped eyes were as gentle as water. She looked at Fang Cheng and said with a captivating smile, "I ca out this ti to et soone."
