"I would've stopped him from advancing further if you weren't here, Baneful Dragon." Long Yejun said.
However, the Baneful Dragon shook his head and said, "Even with here, there's nothing I can do to save him in the third zone because the poison there are strong enough to kill him before I can even attempt to save him."
"My Poisonous Swamp isn't the most dangerous training ground in the Divine Dragon Sanctuary without reason. It has the most casualties, and even other Baneful Dragons have perished here because they underestimated my poison."
"What? Then I need to stop him imdiately! Before it's too late!" Long Yejun hastily said.
"He'll be fine." Yingzi suddenly spoke for the first ti since the Baneful Dragon's appearance.
"Where is your confidence coming from?" The Baneful Dragon inquired, his gaze filled with intrigue.
"From experience, I guess. I have seen what he's capable of."
"But you've only been with him for around two years!" Long Yejun exclaid.
"And in those two years, I have witnessed enough to be confident of him." Yingzi shrugged.
Long Yejun shifted his focus to Yuan again and swallowed nervously.
"Even that Unrivaled Tyrant hasn't stepped foot inside the third zone…" he mumbled in a dazed voice.
The third zone of the Baneful Dragon's Poisonous Swamp was much smaller than the previous two, requiring only a hundred steps to reach its very center. However, each step introduced a new, more potent layer of poison. These toxins were so deadly that even those at the God Ascension would succumb to them within minutes.
Even with True Poison Immunity, Yuan couldn't take more than ten steps before he had to sit down to cultivate.
The pain he experienced was excruciating, and if it weren't for his regeneration ability that constantly created healthy blood cells and restored his organs, the poison would've lted his body within seconds.
"Oh god… what is his body made of?" The Baneful Dragon was shocked by what he was witnessing, and he even began to doubt the effectiveness of his poison, sothing he had been imnsely proud of for countless years.
"That regenerative ability… if he's not a poison dragon, he's a dragon with extrely high recovery rates…" Long Yejun imdiately started thinking of the possibilities.
"Only an Undying Dragon would be able to rival that recovery speed of his… but they are especially weak to poison, so that can't be right…"
"The Dragon God's blood within him might have sothing to do with that."
"No… the Dragon God's blood only enhances our existing abilities to extre lengths. None of the Dragon God's Descendants have abilities beyond what they're capable of—not even the Unrivaled Tyrant."
For example, Long Yejun's ability to control water reached levels other Ancient Azure Dragons could never hope to achieve because of the Dragon God's blood within him. However, he would not suddenly acquire the ability to control the void or fire.
Four hours later, Yuan stood up and took another step before sitting back down again to cultivate. He would continue to spend four hours for each step until he reached the 69th step.

"What a ridiculous monster. Even the Unrivaled Tyrant is nothing in front of his poison affinity!" The Baneful Dragon praised loudly. "Don't let her hear that, or she'll kill you." Long Yejun said as he nervously looked around to make sure nobody there heard it.
"Relax. This place is usually empty." The Baneful Dragon laughed.
"I wonder why." Long Yejun shook his head.
anwhile, Yuan continued his march toward the very center of the poisonous swamp. Unlike before, when each step took him hours to complete, this ti he moved forward without pause, not stopping for even a second.
In the blink of an eye, he reached the very center of the Baneful Dragon's Poisonous Swamp.
